We kicked things off with the miso soup, and it was absolutely delicious. Honestly, I could've had a bowl (or two) all by itself! let's not forget about the salad! And baby... you cannot eat that salad without drenching it in their ginger dressing. Chef's kiss! For our meals, we ordered the hibachi shrimp and steak with fried rice, and I went with the hibachi chicken with fried rice. One of my favorite parts about hibachi is the experience, and this chef had the entire table laughing from beginning to end. The food was great, but the entertainment made it even better. Because really... who doesn't love dinner and a show? To wash it all down, we ordered an Old Fashioned and a fruity sake cocktail (I wish I could remember the name because it was so good! ). The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, the service was quick, and it wasn't crowded, which was definitely a plus. The prices were also very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Overall, if you're looking for delicious hibachi, great service, and a fun dining experience while you're in Florida, I'd definitely recommend giving Japan Inn a try! Pretty average for hibachi, service was OK, our cook was friendly. Portions were fairly generous. Based on the number of celebrations happening throughout the restaurant during our meal, it's a common place to go for a birthday dinner. Fame here on a friday night for dinner. We had a 7:30 reservation. Since we were a party of 2, we had to wait a while for other people to show up to do the teppanyaki. We waited about 45 min for dinner. All in all, the show was very entertaining. I had the teriyaki chicken. The chicken was way over cooked and a bit tough, but the chicken fried rice was excellent, especially with the yum yum sauce. It also came with soup and a salad. Why have a manager? We were on the wait list and they told us 30 minutes, after an hour we asked for an update and were told other reservations came in and we couldn't be seated. The manager (Roger) had one of the staff address the situation while he walked away. We had a choice between Japan Inn and Umami, and will choose Umami in the future. Both were amazing! The salmon in the sushi was very fresh, and the ragoons had a nice crunch to them. And for entrees, we all had hibachi. Our hibachi master chef, Jesus, was amazing! They even called as I was parking and I sent my family in ahead of us to not miss the reservation. We wanted to try the restaurant because we love the one in Weston.
