    Hot Crispy Chicken Bento

One of the prettiest teriyaki bento I've had locally. The tempura shrimp was cooked beautifully. Price and presentation of food was on point. Would recommend for lunch and definitely coming back for more.

    Chicken Teriyaki Special $10.99

My new favorite place! Yes just after one visit. This place is the real deal, by far the cleanest, friendliest teriyaki restaurant I have eaten! Big hello and smile from the proprietor explained the menu and we ended up with 2 chic teriyaki specials, a side order of gyoza and along with a couple of sodas. Patrons were lined up behind us and it was if the proprietor knew each of them by name, with friendly banter and salutations. First the gyoza arrives on a mini boat platter, the order was huge for the cost 8pc for $5.99. Had the dipping sauce in the bow of the boat, not a single use ramekin but an actual plate designed to showcase the dumpling and the sauce. Sorry ate too fast forgot to take a pic. Now for the entree. I will preface that when normally order teriyaki I have sauce on the side , because I do t want to rescue my drowning chicken pieces. I forgot to do that this time and when I remembered it was too late, she brings it to our table....wholly popsicle sticks, the plate was served and it looked like artwork. No drips, no smears, the sauce was light so you could see the chicken, the portion of rice v chicken was perfect and that cold crisp salad. It looked like art. Whoa! It was so insanely good! And the perfect portion. Best part is I am not taking home a pound of steamed rice. Instant love for this place. One tiny mishap, we ordered bottle sodas, and I am not an officianado of sodas, but I have consumed enough of the to know this one was off. Turns out it had expired a couple of weeks back, it was not completely turned but enough to notice. After we ate we went up to the owner and thanked her for a great lunch and explained about the soda, the bottle was empty but she insisted we grab another bottle. We explained that it was not a big deal just bringing to her attention. And we left without a fresh soda. What a great experience, I will most certainly be back.

Let me just say, this restaurant is a lot nicer on the inside than most other teriyaki places. Everything is very clean & the menu is very easy to go through and see what you'd like to get. It was a pretty hot day out and the inside of the restaurant was pretty cool inside! The bathroom was very clean as well. I didn't go in but what I was told from the person I was eating with was that the bathroom was clean on the inside! The service was very respectful. They greeted us & welcomed us in! The food was really good & it was presented so well! It was cooked to perfection. They gave a generous amount of food as well. At most restaurants, they only give 2 scoops of rice but this restaurant gave 3 and I was very surprised! If you get your teriyaki with salad then you still get two scoops of rice!

I was in the area during lunch time so I decided to give this place a try. I got the tofu yakisoba and the California roll. The California roll was decent nothing spectacular. The yakisoba came with A LOT of cabbages and not enough noodle. Rice was also included. The tofu was cut in very small pieces. Flavor was decent. The only complaint was that I wish there was more noodles and less cabbage. Price was ok for what you get

We were at Walmart and this was close by. I'm glad we tried it--we'll be back! The atmosphere was great and the people were so friendly. We tried the chicken yakisoba and chicken stir fry. Loved it!

Good teriyaki chicken! I've never had a salad dressing like this though lol. The dressing taste like there is wasabi, hence the green color so it was a bit spicy. However service was great! The lady was really nice.

The food is great and the service is fast. The place is quaint and cozy. I especially like their bento box.

Always been one of my favorite teriyaki places! Usually come here right after I get my nails done next door. The short ribs are tender & Chicken Katsu stays crispy even with my Togo orders! Food always taste consistent & comes with nice generous portions. Sometimes they over do it on the teriyaki sauce on top, so I usually ask for less sauce or sauce on the side. Lady in there is nice SOMETIMES.. be aware.

Bento #1. Nice presentation and tasted great

Price Point - There are several meat options served here that are very expensive but we tried it all. My personal favorites were the Spicy Pork Cutlet, the Salmon and Rice Bowl, and the wagyu sirloin skewers. Being from Missouri I knew that the prices would be a bit more than what I was used to but it really wasn't that significant. For 4 people who ordered a little bit of everything, we spent 140$ That's three appetizers, 2 sides, and 5 main dishes. For special occasions, celebrations, corporate dinners, this place seems like a great option. Now, in regard to the portion sizes. Pretty simple explanation, they do feel a bit small. Lastly, do they have options for children? I would say no but that depends on what kind of food your kids eat Hahha. This is more of an adult restaurant not particular organized for kids meals. Overall, I definitely recommend everyone check this place out. The food is so fresh and flavorful. We lived the experience and would definitely come back if we find ourselves in town again.

Started off strong with the uni shot, which was really good, and the sashimi fresh, clean, and exactly what you want from a sushi spot. We also ordered the mushroom and pumpkin salad with spinach, which tasted great, but at $20, it felt a bit overpriced for what it was. The rolls, unfortunately, didn't live up to how they looked. Presentation was definitely there, but the flavor just didn't hit. On top of that, they were falling apart pretty easily when picked up with chopsticks, which made them a little frustrating to eat. Service was solid overall staff was attentive despite how busy it was but they did miss our hamachi kama, which was a bit of a letdown. A couple things to note: this place is cash only, and it gets very busy, so expect a bit of a wait. That said, the vibe is nice, and the design of the space is something I actually liked. Would I come back? Probably for sashimi and appetizers but I might skip the rolls next time.

We like to try places in the Renton area because it's the halfway point between our homes. This week we went to Mori Sushi in the Renton Landing. He ordered a specialty roll, a Hot Dream, which he really enjoyed. I was concerned that there would not be enough food for him but it was the perfect amount. Service was great at first, though they didnt check in if we wanted to order more (we had gotten a few small plates to start but when we wanted more we couldnt find anyone and no one checked in). But towards closing they were pretty pushy about us finishing up and leaving (and verbally told us so) which I'm not used to experiencing (we weren't the only ones that were there late and hadnt been there too long).. and I'm not usually at restaurants til close (this was just a long overdue catchup) so it was kind of irritating that they were so pushy about it. We had gotten off work late and made plans but couldn't find many places open late, so we had to make do with the times available (everything pretty much closed by 830 or 9p), so it was a really rushed dinner and felt like that when they rushed us midway to hurry up. Otherwise, other than some rolls seeming a tad expensive, they were pretty good. Some were better than others, we tried about four of them. The fave dish though was the ika geso (fried squid) appetizer, the sauce was bomb. Would come back.
