This new restaurant is beautiful, clean, modern and thoughtfully done. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff were attentive and friendly throughout our meal. We ordered the Queso w/Chorizo, Carne Asada and Camarones a la Diablo. Every single dish was absolutely on point. The Queso was rich, flavorful and addictive. The Asada was a thicker cut cooked to absolute perfection. My bf said the Camarones a la Diablo sauce was incredible. I tasted it and it was the perfect balance of heat and flavor. My family and I attended Tequila Fuego's soft opening week for my mom's birthday. I have some high hopes for this restaurant. It's fancy but also super casual. The entire interior was amazing. Bathrooms were beautiful. Service was amazing. We were constantly being checked on. I got the carne asada which was delicious but nothing too special. Very similar to other restaurants. My boyfriend got something with seafood and cactus I believe, and he really enjoyed that. My 19 month old devoured the kids enchilada. And the birthday celebration they do is SO cool! We ordered delivery, so I can't say much about the service or inside of the restaurant. The food was packaged perfectly though and I was impressed with the flavors on all of it. Tequila Fuego delivered an amazing experience from start to finish! From the moment we sat down, staff were constantly checking in on us, our glasses were never empty, and the chips and salsa just kept coming, which made it clear right away we were in good hands. Our server, Amanda, was a total highlight. She was fun, engaging, and brought great energy to the table. We even ended up playing trivia trying to guess her name, which just added to the laughs and good vibes. The food was fantastic. I ordered an enchilada, my husband had the carne asada burrito, and we finished with churros... my favorite, and they did not disappoint. The perfect way to end the meal. I can understand growing pains, but not horribly busy and having to sit in a cramped tall table in the bar area was uncomfortable. While I find the owner, Reuben, to be an amazing owner, as El Ranchero was where I used to frequent often, he has some obstacles to clear, here. Also the wait was a bit excessive. read more

Food was overpriced and VERY disappointing. We went for lunch and didn't even finish our food. Chips were stale, salsa was bland. I asked for a hotter salsa and it was never delivered. Service was slow and it wasn't busy. I ordered the lunch fajitas, my tortillas were cold and fluffy, almost like a Gordita. She had some type of pork burrito, she swore it was canned meat. I didn't try hers. We sat at a table close to the bar, chairs were too tall for the table and uncomfortable. I have zero clue why people are giving this place 5 stars. We won't be back! Brand new restaurant plenty of employees we got seated, asked for water while waiting on water and chips three different waitresses came up to ask for our order. Finally got water and chips. Food came out ordered chili Colorado burrito. The sauce on top was extremely salty the beef inside no sauce whatsoever they brought my wife completely different order than what she ordered. She finally got her food beans tasted like stale lard granted they just opened, but somebody should be checking food quality before it leaves the kitchen. read more

We waited a long time for it to open. Definitely worth the wait and for sure coming back. Fast, friendly service and the place was well designed and very clean. The chicken fajitas I ordered were amazing with a unique flavoring in the grilled onions and bell peppers. My wife's shredded Beef Burrito was excellent. Never again! We were a party of six. Four of the dinners were absolutely awful. The fajita plate had a lot of grilled onions and peppers and very little beef. The pork chop was a joke and they not only should be embarrassed to serve it, but they should pull it from the menu. It looked like they took a 1-inch pork chop and cut in into four quarter-inch chops. It was tougher than leather and dry...no sauce or flavor. The baked potato was hard to put a fork in. The salmon was a good portion, but they put a pineapple chutney over it that looked and tasted inedible...who does that? One of the medium rare steaks was rare..."The worse steak I've ever had". Another steak dinner was satisfactory. I was going to order the halibut tacos but the waitress told me that the halibut is dry so I ordered the shrimp tacos and I'm glad I did...they were a bit greasy from the fried onions, but otherwise had great flavor and plenty of shrimp. We ordered margaritas and they were poured with a light hand...got a slight buzz at best. The plates are oversized and hard to fit them all on the tables, but the restaurant is clean. Having said all this, the food did not deter us from having a good time, but we will not return to Tequila Fuego. read more
