Headed in for all you can eat Taco Tuesday in the Cantina & was not disappointed. As per the sign of photo posted, there are 3 meat options for one's tacos ordered & of course also soft or crunchy tacos; sides are available at additional charge. And as is common, purchase of a beverage; Pepsi products are available for an option of NA along with coffee & tea. I tried one crunchy taco of each meat choice to begin. Each taco was filled with the meat & usual toppings- they did not scrimp, much to my delight. It was hard to find room to get some salsa incorporated into each taco After the first round of tacos, I decided I had preference for the birria & chicken meats for my tacos, so finished my meal with 2 more chicken & 1 birria for a total of 6- numO All of the servers were very delightful & attentive. As more diners move in for their taco Tuesday meals, there can be a little bit of a wait time for additional tacos, but there's always chips & salsa to fall back on. Speaking of which, their table salsa is mild to medium & seemed to be freshly made in house. I'm guessing that for those who like a hotter salsa, it may be available upon request. Bottled sauces were also seen upon other's tables, but not mine & I considered that nor did I ask for any. This restaurants Taco Tuesday is a good one & I plan to return. During happy hour time, the Cantina does get filled up quickly, so either go early like I did or a bit later if wanting to avoid the crowd, otherwise enjoy the lively times! read more

I'm kinda upset, I placed an order yesterday for pickup. I ordered a plain quesadilla meal. And once it was ready to be picked up it came out to be $27?! I didn't check my food til I was already at work (*my mistake) and by that time I couldn't return it! Always see this place behind regal so decided to give it a try. I will say, salsa is trash. No spice whatsoever, super chunky, just bland. Now the queso dip? That was BOMB. Honestly the best queso in town so far. Before we get to the main entree, I'll talk about the service. It was meh. Waitress took a hot minute to get to us, and we didn't see her much after that. My wife and i have eaten at this restaurants about four or more times since moving to this area. The quality of the food is great hot and delicious the staff is friendly they stay on top of things. They are great with large gatherings last time we were there we had lunch with friends from church about ten of us. We all got our dinners at the same . I was at the Cinema of Horrors Valentine's haunted house event which is in the same area across the street and my mom and I came here after all the scares. The place is nice looking on the inside and aside from an excessive amount of salt, I'd say the food is good. We shared some nachos and I had caldo de pollo (Mexican chicken soup) , a side of beans and a Lavender margarita. Portions are pretty big so you'll have leftovers most likely. I enjoyed my lavender margarita.. it relaxed me fast and I was very sleepy on the drive home. The nachos and soup were delicious, beans were pretty dang salty but they're good if you can look past that. The main reason I give three stars is that the service here could use some work. I don't think our server introduced himself cause I can't for the life of me remember his name but my mother ordered a chocolate milkshake and he disappeared not to be seen again after that and it was never brought out or even mentioned by any of the staff. Two other male servers picked up his slack and assisted us after he disappeared . When the check came the milkshake wasn't on it so at least they didn't charge us for it. I think he forgot all about it and either walked off and took a really long break or clocked out and left. Food was decent overall so it's a shame but based off that experience, we'd likely find somewhere else to eat next time we're in the area for this haunted house. Adios Amigos ! read more

This is one of few restaurants that consistently stays at the 10/10 rating. It's also a classic and extremely popular location in town. Just looking from the outside, it's so nice. Then the second you walk in, you feel transported to another world. It's a different environment. There's great energy due to the extremely nice and fancy looking decor, and overall style. Great service from all staff, and they'll get you seated in a comfortable booth or table! They have extremely high quality food, that tastes exceptional. Flavorful, and very fresh. Plus, the stuff that they give you on the side is great too, and fits super well. I can't forget to mention the chips and salsa, which are maybe the best you'll ever have. So few Mexican establishments compete, and even if they do, it's a different style of chips and salsa. I think you all know this place by now. I still sometimes refer to it as Azteca. The customer service is exceptional. The prices are average. The only take away was the molcajete. Typically, molcajete is a bowl made of volcanic rock. They serve it on a plate and is more a soup with beef chicken and mushroom. It was a weird concept. It tastes OK but wouldn't buy again. read more

Well this is a "one and done" for us. Service was okay; a little slow but friendly-ish. Their chips were served crisp and warm. Fiesta Bonita does charge for a tiny bowl of refried beans to dip your chips in..but that's okay. The food was rather salty especially the beans. The Grands ordered from the kids menu. One of them had the hotdog and fries, the other had pizza, rice and beans. They managed to eat some of their meal but weren't feeling it. My husband had the fish tacos and said they were,"okay". I had a combination meal and determined that the meal had more salt than I care for. Additionally the rice was bland almost to the point of flavorless. We were staying at the hotel next to Fiesta Bonita so decided to stop in for dinner on a Saturday night. We were greeted and seated promptly by a friendly staff member, then left to sit for a while. Eventually our drink and food orders were taken by a very effusive server. Our order came out promptly, save for mine which seemed to have been forgotten. To their credit, the server who took our order did come over and apologize for the delay. I ordered the fish tacos and when they came out, I was unimpressed. The tacos were served with one corn tortilla each which meant that when I picked up the overly sauced taco, the tortilla broke apart and the contents spilled onto the plate. Double corn tortillas on tacos are the standard for a reason. The fish was okay, a little bland, nothing to write home about. The crema was spicy in the good way, but there was a ton of it on each taco. I ended up dumping everything on the plate, mixing it with my beans and eating it that way. Kiddos had the chicken strips and fries and quesadilla which made them happy. Of note: chicken strips and fries are on the kid's menu, but adults can order them too (should you have a picky eater adult). We found this out because my kid ordered off the kid's menu but was charged the adult price. Dessert was the requisite fried ice cream for one kiddo and churros for the other. This place really is about as good as you can get for Mexican Food. They have a "sister" location in Vancouver and we loved their food. Only recently did we discover there was another in Kelso so we had to go. The taco salads are to die for. The other food is just as good. You truly get what you pay for at this wonderful mid-to-high end Mexican restaurant. Everything I've eaten from Fiesta Bonita just hits the right spot. The food is genuinely spectacular. The service is INCREDIBLE. One of the most pleasant dine-in experiences I've experienced in this area. Everyone in there is so welcoming and friendly. The margaritas are good and come in essentially fish bowl sizes if you so desire. The last time I was there I had their quesa birria taco special and it was absolutely delicious. I also highly recommend the enchilada trio which comes with three enchiladas in three different sauces. The chips and salsa a great. The rice and beans are very good and if you're looking for an alternative, the rancho beans are the way to go. The ambience and decor in this place is spectacular and the music they play is wonderful. I'm always a little bummed when I go to a Mexican restaurant and they're playing some American pop singles playlist, but not here. This place gives you the good stuff. The main problem is the price. It is very expensive. The sides are very overpriced especially since most of the time other Mexican restaurants won't charge you for them, depending on what you get. We decided to meet here for lunch for a pre-thanksgiving get together. The restaurant is nice and the people that work there are outstanding, so it's unfortunate I have to give it such a poor review. The problem is the food. I got enchiladas espinaca, my daughter got a kid's bean burrito, and my partner had arroz con pollo. All three of us disliked our meals for different reasons. My spinach had no seasoning at all. I tried to put salt and sauce on it and it was still super bland. I ended up eating half of an enchilada and taking the rest home. Of course, I didn't eat it at home either. My daughter is 7 and she didn't love the overabundant amount of sauce on her kids bean burrito. My partner stated the arroz con pollo tasted okay, but it was just chicken and an enormous amount of onions. He said he did like the consistency of the "gravy", but that was about it. He also brought his food home and did not eat it. Because of the excellent service there, we did have a good time with our family. I just wish the food was much better. However, we had gone with 3 generations of family in our party and wanted to eat outside on the very nice and at the time very empty patio. We could not be seated as we had a 12 year old in our group and the patio was curiously all considered part of the bar. So, here in the time of Covid, the outside seating is only for adults.
