Valentines Day dessert for twp

From nachos to huge burritos to dessert, our meal was beautiful and delicious. The employees are always friendly and attentive, every time we eat here. Owner Elizabeth makes each season and holiday a fiesta and Valentines Day did not disappoint!

I had a coupon for Buy 1 Get 1 lunch for free up to a $8 value. Please, they don't have anything for $8. Lol They should just say $8 off any w 2 meals! However I had one of the specials that included a carne Asada Steak, and a few other other goodies, it was perfection, and plentiful, I had plenty leftover for dinner that night. The service was spot on, it was nice and quiet. I will be returning!

Been here a few times. Place is OK. The ambience is good. Service is good and food is OK. Chili Colorado taco was dry. Chili Verde was better. Chips are hot but the salsa is bland.

The customer service is exceptional. The prices are average. The only take away was the molcajete. Typically, molcajete is a bowl made of volcanic rock. They serve it on a plate and is more a soup with beef chicken and mushroom. It was a weird concept. It tastes OK but wouldn't buy again.

Well this is a "one and done" for us. Service was okay; a little slow but friendly-ish. Their chips were served crisp and warm. Fiesta Bonita does charge for a tiny bowl of refried beans to dip your chips in..but that's okay. The food was rather salty especially the beans. The Grands ordered from the kids menu. One of them had the hotdog and fries, the other had pizza, rice and beans. They managed to eat some of their meal but weren't feeling it. My husband had the fish tacos and said they were,"okay". I had a combination meal and determined that the meal had more salt than I care for. Additionally the rice was bland almost to the point of flavorless. Fiesta Bonita seems to be a popular place (gauged by the restaurants customers). Perhaps tonight was just an off night for them?

We were staying at the hotel next to Fiesta Bonita so decided to stop in for dinner on a Saturday night. We were greeted and seated promptly by a friendly staff member, then left to sit for a while. Eventually our drink and food orders were taken by a very effusive server. Our order came out promptly, save for mine which seemed to have been forgotten. To their credit, the server who took our order did come over and apologize for the delay. I ordered the fish tacos and when they came out, I was unimpressed. The tacos were served with one corn tortilla each which meant that when I picked up the overly sauced taco, the tortilla broke apart and the contents spilled onto the plate. Double corn tortillas on tacos are the standard for a reason. The fish was okay, a little bland, nothing to write home about. The crema was spicy in the good way, but there was a ton of it on each taco. I ended up dumping everything on the plate, mixing it with my beans and eating it that way. Kiddos had the chicken strips and fries and quesadilla which made them happy. Of note: chicken strips and fries are on the kid's menu, but adults can order them too (should you have a picky eater adult). We found this out because my kid ordered off the kid's menu but was charged the adult price. Dessert was the requisite fried ice cream for one kiddo and churros for the other. Both were pretty tasty and appreciated by my littles.

The food was nasty at their stand on the 4th of July. Overpriced and just a puddle of grease and tortilla.

The staff was friendly and did call me, as I had requested, if there were any issues with fulfilling the order, which I appreciated. During the call, I was informed that the carne asada tacos listed as "2 for $4.88" on the à la carte menu were actually priced per taco, not for two. I was also told that the two four-enchilada dinners I ordered could not be fulfilled because they were out of shredded beef. They offered chicken or pork as substitutes, but my family was hoping for beef, as I make chicken enchiladas at home regularly and we don't care for pork. The person I spoke with was courteous and apologetic and explained that beef was cooking, but it would take about 1.5 hours. Unfortunately, my DoorDash driver had already arrived. The driver was very patient and even offered to help by calling me so I could cancel the order. I initially tried to cancel through the DoorDash app, but it indicated I would need to forfeit the full amount, so I contacted DoorDash customer service instead. After explaining that the situation was unforeseen and not really anyone's fault, they were able to issue a partial refund to my card, with the remaining amount provided as DoorDash credit. I did briefly consider waiting for the beef and adjusting the order, but with the wait time and pricing, we decided to look at other options. I ended up placing an order with El Ranchero instead and had no issues. Their family enchilada deal included 20 shredded beef enchiladas, rice, beans, and chips with salsa for a similar price, which worked better for our family that evening. My only recommendation would be that if you're ordering from Black Agave through DoorDash--especially since it appears to be a smaller restaurant--it may help to call ahead to confirm availability and pricing before placing the order.

Our table ordered steak fajitas and carne asada. Both were delicious. I really appreciated that when I told the server that I couldn't have dairy so I needed to omit the sour cream and guac for my fajitas, she pointed out that the beans have cheese on them, so she'd have that omitted as well. The portion sizes were perfect and service was remarkably fast, too. Only thing to point out is that they have Starry on tap, instead of Sprite or 7Up.

Had really good reviews so we gave it a shot, tacos are one of my favorite things in the world so had to try it. Very happy we did! We just got some carne asada tacos and a Jamaica Agua Fresca to sit down and eat. SO glad we ate them there while they came fresh out the kitchen. I'm sure they would still be good to go as take out, but eating them there was definitely a great choice. The meat was flavorful and tender, the salsa was delicious, but the tortillas tho!! So good! They tasted freshly made ( I don't know if they actually are freshly made.. they gave me that impression, but I'm no professional ) They were nice and warm and a little toasty so they had softness but also a little crunch to them on certain spots. Everything was fresh and so tasty. Service was also good, everyone was so kind and the food came out much quicker than we expected! The place overall was really clean, nicely decorated, and loved the vibe with all the bright colors and roll up doors. We would definitely come back again and recommend it to anyone who wants some yummy food.

We were greeted upon our arrival and asked if we were dining in. We were then directed to sit where we'd like. We were slow at ordering and the waitress was patient with us. We ended up ordering the chips and salsa (up-charge), I had a cheese enchilada plate and Mr. wonderful had the pork chimichanga with rice and beans. The food was good, the flavors were there. I particularly liked the decanted red salsa, it was stellar. Service was a little inconsistent as we waited for quite a while to request to-go boxes and our check. We finally approached the counter and requested said items.
