I am so fed up with this location. I order carne asada fries with no cheese. No cheese does not mean smother it in nacho cheese and hide it under the toppings. Out of every Hispanic restaurant in town, this is my favorite. The food is always incredible, I have never not liked anything. Closest to "authentic" as you're gonna get. Anytime my family doesn't know where to go we always end up here. The service there is also a plus! Super friendly, super attentive. Have had quite a few breakfast burritos from there in the last few months and my son and I love them. I will say though, the burritos seem smaller and the hash browns are soggy than the first few we've had. Before writing my review I wanted to try it out a few times. I have been here 3 times now. Twice using the drive through and once inside. Only complaint I have about the drive through is the menu is 100% there. Granted they have a large menu, however has I not asked about the burritos, I would have missed out on one of the best burritos I've had in years. That's the Burrito Supreme! I'm a native to San Diego and I grew up on Mexican Food (look at my reviews, most are Mexican food). So many times I have been so disappointed by wanna bes and sweet versions. This place has it down!!! Unfortunately I could eat here every day and still not get enough. Try it out, you won't regret it. By the way the staff is very polite and friendly too!!! read more

This place is incredible! We stopped in late tonight (After 10pm) and we were a little skeptical as nobody was there. We ordered quesabirria, tacos, and steak fajitas. We also had a mango margarita and a prickly pear margarita. It was all so so good! I think the quesabirria stole the show. The whole thing was perfect. Delicious flavorful meat, thick consume with chunks of meat in it. My boyfriend loved the flavor and sauce on his fajitas. Two days ago I bought a taco salad and asked for light lettuce, I got extra lettuce. Yesterday I bought a California burrito and asked for no french fries on it. It had the fries and they added an extra order on the side. I went back immediately when I found out, they replaced the burrito and refinded me the money for the fries. I got busy with homework and didn't get to the burrito. This time there was a rubber and in the burrito. Ive never had a problem before this so I'm thinking something has changed. This place is by far the best I've tried so far. I spent the better part of two decades in San Diego, which is the pinnacle of Mexican cuisine outside of Mexico. So needless to say, I have high standards LOL. This place is awesome, haven't regretted anything I've tried here yet. The ONLY critique I offer is for their "aguas" or traditional drinks. Their horchata is obviously from a powdered mix and is too sweet. Same for the jamaica, and I haven't tried the tamarindo yet because it's my favorite and I didn't want to be let down. I mean they are good, if you've never had the real deal. Which can be said for a lot of things. But other than this minor flaw, I have zero complaints. People are friendly, food is always fast and freshly made. Never been inside, because covid, so I have only experienced their drive thru. Two thumbs way up! read more

Been there twice in the drive-thru. Food tastes authentic. Beans taste real, not canned. Tacos full of meat. Breakfast burritos available all day. Food still hot when I get home. My favorite thing is the molcajete salsa. It sounds like they make it fresh while you wait. read more

Just got a chorizo breakfast burrito and another one with carnitas (which, I don't think is very typical for a breakfast burrito but still turned out great.) Both were excellent!! And with those and taxes included, it was still under 10 bucks!!! Couldn't believe it. Tip them well!!! Another thing I noticed was they don't spare any of the cheese, which I haven't ever really noticed at other Mexican places that serve breakfast burritos. Gotta say, as a big white boy I like my cheese and that's a really nice touch. So great. I'll be getting food from here regularly. read more
