It's really nice when you continue to patronize a restaurant and receive the same high quality food and service! Soltero's has been consistently serving delicious food by friendly staff since we started coming here. Nice work folks!

Solteros was a solid Mexican restaurant in Kelso. We were staying in town for the weekend and didn't want to eat at a chain, which is what was mostly available near out hotel. However, we found Solteros in downtown Kelso, which made for a good dinner. We visited on a Saturday night and were the only ones dining at Solteros. The other patrons were getting takeout from here. At first we thought the restaurant was closed as we saw the staff vacuuming inside and there weren't many cars in the front lot. But fortunately, they were, so we were able to be seated immediately. The menu was massive. There was A LOT to choose from. I mean it, every Mexican item you can think of they had. My partner chose the carne asada plate while I had the lamb borrego dish. We were given complimentary chips and salsa, and both our plates came with fresh corn tortillas. Our entrees were tasty. I liked how tender the lamb was and the sauce was actually light, which was nice. It wasn't heavy at all. I especially liked making a taco with the lamb, cilantro, onion and some lime zest! The plates were also a large portion, which was filling after a day of hiking. We both enjoyed our meals and I suggest checking out Solteros for whatever Mexican dish you fancy if in the Kelso area.

They just opened a few days ago, and the food was amazing.. if you like Rancheros in Longview, than you will love this place. Because of Covid I am not able to dine in. However I phoned my order in and took it home. I got the #36 and boy was it a lot of food for only $14 bucks. I am writing this the next morning and I'm still full. The flavors are spot on. This is my new go to place for when I want Mexican food, which is quite often. Thanks guys for opening up a 2nd location that is close to my home!!

First time eating here. Just got off work extremely tired I'm in the industry myself. So looking forward to this food and it was all cold and soggy. And a nacho with some half melted cheese style chips. Highly disappointed would not recommend.

Soltero's is an extension on El Ranchero in Longview. You will not be disappointed with either. Its the best authentic Mexican food around. Amazing atmosphere, incredible food and wonderful owners.

Absolutely atrocious management. Doesn't care about customer interactions. Hangs up on customers and consistently sends out the wrong food.

This review is from a visit last year. No idea if things have changed since then but I sure hope…read moreso. We had a gift card here so gave it a go. Seated upstairs so felt bad the waitress had to go up and down many many times. The empanadas were awful. I am being extremely honest. It seemed as if they were pre frozen and lacked flavor and filling. We were so surprised at the quality and price. I also had the shnitzel and it had no seasoning and was so bland. With a sad excuse for chimichurri. That seemed haphazardly put together, again lacking any flavor. Was it an off day based on the amount of people raving? Maybe. But also maybe they aren't aware of the better options in Portland so lack the awareness of true potential in this cuisine. I recommend Lechón if you want real chimichurri and empanadas.

A small and charming spot in an area that could use some more charm -- and what a pleasant surprise…read moreit turned out to be! We tried four empanadas (chorizo, pollo spicy, humita, and imposter) along with an order of papas, and that was more than enough for the two of us. Each empanada had a wonderfully flaky, golden crust. The fillings were flavorful and distinct; the only one that didn't quite win us over was the imposter, though that's probably just a matter of taste. The papas were crisp and perfectly seasoned too. Service could have been a touch more attentive, especially given the place wasn't too busy, but overall, it's a lovely new addition to the neighborhood -- cozy, tasty, and full of potential.

I've been by this place hundred times and never went in because the windows were completely covered…read morewith drapes. They took them down and now I can see inside and decided to have lunch. I don't know if it was a good thing or not. The service was kind of sketch, the police was very plain, and the menu was not very easy to read. I ended up ordering a meat dish and don't know what it was called. It came with rice, beans, coleslaw, tortillas and plantains The rice was good, the coleslaw was good and the sprite was good. This is the first time I ate plantains and did not care for them so much. The coleslaw was excellent. I also didn't care too much for the meat. The flavor was OK, but they were bits of bone in it I wasn't prepared for. Almost broke a tooth. The food was OK and very generous. But I do not think I will return here as it's just not my flavor.

I've never specifically sought out Honduran food before, but I checked out Sabor Catracho based on…read morethe recommendation of a coworker recently. And what a fascinating experience! I'll definitely be returning to try more dishes in the future. I was given explicit instruction to try this dish, and nothing else on my first visit as it's apparently a favorite dish in Honduras. It consists of a bed of fried plantains, topped with a cabbage slaw, fried chicken, and a blend of delicious sauces. It's definitely a shareable dish as you can see from the video I've posted, and it's super delicious! Savor Catracho has a giant dining room painted a very striking Honduran blue. One interesting quirk is that every single chair (not the tables) is bolted to the floor. I've never encountered this before, but the seats were comfortable nonetheless. Check this place out, you won't regret it!
