Ordered Valentine's Day specialty green tea slush with taro at the bottom. Both the green tea slush and taro had Oreo cookie mix. It's a very creative drink but came out to be almost 8 dollars after tax. There was a time when bubble tea wasn't this expensive :\ maybe the times are changing and I just have to get use to more expensive bubble tea

Ten Ren has replaced Bubble Tease as the bubble tea spot in Fairview Mall ever since the major food court renovations. Their drinks are not too sweet (which I like, but my boyfriend with the sweet tooth complains), and their tapioca are always nice, chewy and sweet. They have a stamp card so you can earn yourself a free drink after spending $$$ with them - you can only earn a stamp for one large drink or 2 small drinks so it adds up quickly. On average a large drink with tapioca is about $6, but considering there is not much substance to it (syrup, ice, etc) I'd rather just go next door and buy myself a Jugo Juice smoothie. To be honest I haven't had a bubble tea here in at least 3 months since Jugo Juice opened. Also - their straws are plopped horizontally in a couple of bins on the counter for customers to reach into and grab. I don't find that very hygenic and although I hate packaging, I almost wish their straws were individually wrapped.

Apple pineapple bubble tea - it's quite sweet

They're the only bubble tea place at Fairview but I'd only go if I'm craving it. Nothing special in particular and the sugar level isn't quite consistent (sometimes it's really sweet sometimes it's not and I always ask for "less sweet") They also have daily specials for $4.5 I believe.

Tried their Lychee Slush with tapioca. Went there right when they opened and their tapioca wasn't made properly... not as chewy. The slush was more ice Than lychee... I wouldn't recommend getting this flavor.

you can see the bubble tea is not opened

This location recently renovated June/2019 and their tea prices have gone through the roof!! Other locations remain the same.

Love ten ren's bubble tea ! Just don't ask for an unsweetened one. Let them add some sugar or else it will taste bitter.

I used to go to Ten Ren in North York area a lot before I came to find out in Fairview mall.

Really enjoyed the food and service here! The ambiance is beautiful. Bòn Italia is a local coffee…read moreshop and restaurant, across from Bayview Village Shopping Mall. There is parking underground at the condo, or simply park across and walk over. Food is made to order, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend their Insalata Burrata Fresca (salad), Roman Feast pizza and Veal Parmagiano pasta. But tbh, all items are great! And don't forget about desserts ;) They also have LLBO, so you can enjoy a wine, cocktail, or mocktail with your meal as well.

The interior is sleek and modern and the staff are friendly but as other reviews mentioned can be a little forgetful ... sometimes we had to remind them more than once of a drink or a small request. However the staff are very sweet and always seem to be excited about their food and drinks and love talking about anything new on their menu ... really enjoyed the croissants that comes with pistachio, chocolate, and I believe Nutella, and that they can make immediately for you if they've run out of a certain flavor. They have pastries, wine, a big coffee menu, sandwiches, and pasta. There's some street parking and if you don't mind walking across the street there's plenty of spots at Bayview Mall. They also have free underground parking but it's a bit of a guessing game to get to the first time ... if you go behind their building parallel to Sheppard is Thomas Clark Way. If you're facing north towards their building on Thomas Clark Way then the parking driveway is part of the building to the left of the church, the parking garage door is actually perpendicular to Thomas Clark Way. There's a few parking areas on that road so it's hard to find the first time but once you get it then it's really convenient especially in the winter - the restaurant is right there. Highly recommended for the great staff and casual yet elegant vibe.
