An ice cold beer is served in a glass taken right out of the freezer. Specialty liqueurs and glasses for shots kept in the freezer, as well. The only thing that I think that owners need to do is replace the front entrance door with one that keeps the heat and hot air from leaking in during the summer.

Brains were tired. We sat outside with the misters at night. That was totally fine. It wasn't one of the nasty hot days.

The questions were not too hard, ranging from picture clues to questions and multiple choice. There is an app to use for the trivia so leave yourself enough time to set up if it is your first time.

Let me start by saying I go to bars to see bands. I've seen several shows at this bar. It even has a surprisingly nice sound system for such a small room. It should be a perfect place to enjoy a live band. Instead, it is a PAINFUL DUNGEON where live music is an endurance test rather than a pleasure. The problem? One incompetent sound man and management too apathetic to notice. The dreadlock entangled caucasoid at the mixing board drives the house system at decibels appropriate for a large auditorium. His first mistake is pushing bass levels hard enough to bruise internal organs. Then to balance the lows, he cranks the mids and highs. At those levels, any vocal microphone would feedback in such a small room. His solution? Turn down the vocal mics! The result? It is impossible to hear the music over the sound of your ear bones being ground into dust. There are still occasionally audible vocal blips punctuated by piercing feedback squeals. It's a real shame as I've seen some truly exceptional bands there and they get to sound like they don't know what they're doing. Any monkey with a finger can push a slider and make it louder. It doesn't make you look cool. It doesn't increase the size of your genitals. It won't win you friends. It makes you an incompetent sound man and it drives away customers. As a reward for enduring the whole night, my ears rang for days. Oh, and if you want to get something from the bar, be prepared to wait until the staff gets done flirting with each other and discussing some guy's new hat, what Tiffany thinks of okra, whose turn it is to clean the ice bins next Wed and any other world shaking issues that supersede basic customer service. Eventually you will get your drink, generously garnished with I-don't-give-a-4uck. At the rate the bartenders serve drinks versus the rate your liver metabolizes alcohol, I don't believe it is within the realm of physiologically possibility to become intoxicated at this bar. By all rights, this should be the best bar in Tempe. It's close to ASU, has easy access to the light rail, good food, cheap drinks, live music, excellent sound system, etc... Even convenient porn next door if you're into that. But the abusively loud music levels and contemptuous attitude of the staff make this a place that my friends and I will continue to avoid with gusto. With more engaged management, this place could be as iconic as the old Long Wongs! read more

Without a doubt, one of the worst bar/venues that Tempe has had in a very long time. Not only does the under qualified staff ask to collect money each and every time you order ANY SINGLE ITEM, they put on an awful acoustic singer or horrible punk band with no proper mixing to drive you out of the main dining areas while you try to enjoy your meal. I had an issue with a credit card transaction that we knew was going to happen due to the struggling waitress that served our entire table... When we called to resolve our issue that is NOT just a temporary hold, but a double charge, we were told "we're busy, call back or something". Then we got a hold of the owner, who serves as the most professional, well-spoken, top level industry owners.... IF you were smoking a bag of meth to come to that conclusion. Instead of acting as a professional, he decided to use a weak/generic attempt to demean my friend by saying " are you calling about a $5 transaction? that doesn't break my bank account or bottom line". In addition to the various numbers of underage ASU students that drink with little to no issue when the front door man is not working, there is such a lack of industry standard in this establishment. The best thing about this place, is that you can easily drive as far away from the area as possible once you complete your experience - If you are less fortunate, the light rail is directly across the street, however, the owner of TT may let you know that he never has to use the light rail because $5 doesn't break his bank account. I don't come often but often enough being my second to third visit as to where just using the bathroom has become discriminating issues not once but twice now leading to the Harassment Complaint in my choice of relievement. This place is very transphobic! The owner has a Napoleon complex and thinks that anyone thats of lgbtq is a hooker or a sex worker! The guys a fool. Half his patrons shop next door at the porn shop! But this guy Is convinced that customers at modern world (pornshop next door) are causing issues, when In fact it's the drunk people that come over after they're done partying causing disturbances in and around the parking lot! Everytime I go into modern word they are making sure weirdos are not around! What I don't see is the bar owner doing anything, and you think he would bring that they share the same lot! Lol. Apparently parking here is a crime. I was advised that my car would be towed. I didn't mean to visit this establishment bitch share a parking lot with another establishment and apparently I parked on the wrong side and even though the spaces aren't marked clearly and they don't say this is the property of this establishment. I was advise that they were told my car and when I asked will where can I park? Is it OK to park behind this place? I get it this place is a dive bar, but man if you're going here it's the low of lows. Hookers on Indian School are probably cleaner than this place. If you're worried about Covid you can build your immunity up here and hang with the local junkies in the parking lot. There's dive and then there's die and this bar makes you want to kill yourself. I'd be better off drinking at the local shelter. I give one star cause I've been to this bar many times. Every time I've been there I've enjoyed the company of Maddy and Sarah. They are both awesome people. They have been amazing bartenders. I would give them a much better score. Today I had the torture of an angry bitchy lady named Sherri. She was bad at her job, slow at her job, and rude at her job. Almost three months ago, he went in, and when they did last call, he was heading out and accidentally left his bag inside with his laptop in it. He tried to go back in to get it, but was refused entry and was told the bag was not there. Fast-forward to yesterday, and now I see a Facebook post stating that the Tempe Police Department has the laptop. I contacted them, and that's not the case. So I'm genuinely confused. If the bag and laptop weren't there almost three months ago, how are we now being told that the police have it? I'm not looking for an argument--I just want some answers and, most importantly, I want the laptop back.

Overall, it was just kind of an "eh" experience. Hopefully the TVs get fixed and the patio gets some misters, because those two things would make a huge difference.

They overcharged me and the manager was rude when I asked to address it. They removed many things from the menu so now it's just not even worth it. There's better hotels with pool side; save your money do not come. And Jason is the absolute worse bartender I have ever had the experience of meeting. They also charge $8 for chips that are Santina brand with Pace salsa.

How anyone can give Denim & Diamonds less than five stars is beyond me…read more Okay... I'll give you an out. If you hate dancing, don't come! If you hate friendly people, don't come! If you hate cheap drinks, don't come! If you hate country music, don't come! Otherwise, go there!!! This place reminds me of old-school fun bars back in the eighties where dancing--and a bit of drinking--are the highlight of your week! All ages are there from 5:30 to 9:30! Seriously!!! From 21 to 99!!! After 9:30, it gets a bit too loud and busy for me, but that's not the club's fault. I just can't take too much partying anymore. lol' Highlights!!! No cover before eight--unless it's a holiday. Drinks are crazy cheap before eight. Free two-step, country swing classes Wednesday and Saturday at 6:30 Free line dancing classes all night--just watch and learn. People are so fun and friendly. They'll help you. There's also pool tables off to the side...and get this--barstools and tables!!! Yep, they actually allow you to sit down unlike all those clubs in Scottsdale that charge you to rent a table. Anyway, if you like to dance and listen to country music, you have to check out Denim and Diamonds!

Space is huge with a central stage for people who want to dance but plenty other rooms if you don't. Had a great time hanging out there for a couple hours.
