I bought my Jeep trom Auction Block Auto at an amazing price ($2,900). To be honest, I was a little…read morenervous at first because of the low price and because they didn't know the full history of the vehicle. It was part of a deal they made with a Dodge dealership out in Avondale to get a vehicle one of their own clients wanted. Typically, when a dealership says something like that, you have to be a little leery-it can feel like they're setting up an excuse just in case something goes wrong. My antennas definitely went up. But Rick came across as a genuinely honest guy. I realized it was a family-run operation-his son is the sales manager-and as someone who recently started mr own business, I really respected hard they work. I asked Rick point-blank if he thought the Jeep would make it to Colorado and back (since he was the one who drove it all the way from Avondale). He looked me in the eye and said, "Without a doubt." That same night, I got an oil change and hit the road for Colorado. Usually, I do a lot more maintenance when I first pick up a vehicle, but given the high mileage, I was skeptical and didn't want to sink too much cash into it right away. But it ran like an absolute dream. It's a 4.7L 4x4, so it's naturally heavy on gas, but outside of fuel costs, I have zero complaints about how it drives. I've had it for just under two months now. I did have to --*lace the water pump recently, k ckily I'm handy and took care of it myself. It also has a minor exhaust manifold leak, but the Jeep runs great overall. There was a slight delay with getting the title past the 30-day mark, but Rick communicated with me the entire way through and issued me another temporary tag so I was fully covered. On top of that-and this is what really set them apart-when I was at the third-party MVD finalizing everything, our sale was already complete. Rick didn't owe me a thing. Knowing I had put almost everything I had into buying this vehicle, he paid for my title, tags, and registration out of his own pocket. That kind of gesture is commendable. I saw a few negative comments on here, but every company gets those --nobody is perfect, and things don't always go as planned. But look at the big picture: they have about a 5-to-1 positive ratio. Most major corporations like Walmart, Target, or Costco can't claim an 80-90% customer satisfaction rate, but Auction Block Auto can. This is where I'll be buying my daughter's first vehicle when she turns 16 in three years, and probably another vehicle or two before then. Thank you guys for being men and women with integrity and honor. In an industry where car salesmen can be so shady, you guys are the gold standard for auto sales. ( so we are clear I'm a real customer no ties to this company and mot a bot: my business is Mellow Industries LLC way on the other side of town. You can trust this establishment to do everything in THEIR power to do right by you)

Proceed with caution…read more My husband & I purchased a 2006 Mercedes ML500 from Scott at Four Seasons Motor Company in February. Overall, we enjoyed a positive interaction, felt no pressure to buy and thought the price was fair. However, we were disappointed with what happened after we took the car home and noticed on Day 1 that the entire vehicle often shook violently while idling at stop lights. When we bought the car, the sales person told us that the owner herself used the car as her personal vehicle for a week. Surely she must have experienced the same violent shaking. In addition to the shaking, we also noticed a few other minor issues and reported them to our sales person via phone: -slider on air vent fell off the first time we touched it -DVD player was not flush with roof -tire pressure warning message on car display -brake lamp was out We were pleased when the sales person suggested we bring the car back in so they could have their in-house mechanic look at it. When I returned with the car, I took a ride with the mechanic, a BMW specialist, and the sales person. The mechanic mentioned several times that he was on his lunch break--with the implication being that he didn't want to spend too much time driving around with me (VERY FRUSTRATING to hear as a customer who just spent $15K w/ a business). Unable to get the shaking to replicate during our brief ride, both men insisted that there was nothing wrong with the car bc the diagnostic system would report any major issues. To their credit, Four Seasons did replace the burned out brake lamp and reset the tire pressure warning. The DVD player was aftermarket, so they said there was nothing they could do about that, and I accepted that answer. However, I was not satisfied with their explanation about the car shaking. So I took the car to Mark Salem's. $250 later, we learned that the EGR valve was dirty and sticking. It needed to be cleaned. This is apparently a known issue with our make and model Mercedes. Clearly, there was a problem---and there's no way the business owner drove the car for a full week without experiencing it for herself. I'm lucky it was only a $250 fix. Despite having a positive experience during point-of-sale, I'd hesitate to recommend this business to anyone else because I believe they were dishonest about disclosing the dirty EGR valve. My husband's had a pneumonia since mid-February, so today we finally got around to calling up Four Seasons and telling them what happened. Their response: "that was months ago." Way to nail that customer service, guys.

Did a great job of answering our questions. The whole process was handled well. We had our own finance company, so that was a fairly smooth procedure. Through the course of our time there, there was a lot of waiting as it seems to be a very lengthy operation from start to finish in purchasing a vehicle. That said, this ensures that both parties are solid and that the transaction $ is finalized with all the necessary documentation required. NOTE- pay close attention to to your total cost and if they present any DOC fee charges. Look that up and educate yourself on it as this was something we were not familiar with.
