This means that they are cheaper but they could be considered a lemon and it may be hard to sell or have some issues that come down the road. Of course, there could be nothing wrong with it as some states have very lenient return laws so that the buyback could be for the smallest thing. Will never do business with this company again…read more I brought my Audi in early March with a prior diagnosis from Audi that clearly outlined the necessary repairs. Despite providing this, I was told I still had to pay a $210 diagnostic fee. Unsurprisingly, their diagnosis came back with the same conclusion. I moved forward with the recommended repairs, along with an additional suggested service, totaling $2,600. After driving less than 100 miles, the check engine light came back on. When I returned, I was told it would require another $2,500 in repairs--on the same system that had just been worked on a week earlier. I chose not to proceed with more repairs, but was still charged another $210 diagnostic fee. Overall, this experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. Paying for repeated diagnostics and being told I need thousands more in repairs on the same issue so soon after service is unacceptable. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Today really confirmed it. I found out my tires were wearing out at just 24,000 miles. When I went back to the place I bought them, the first thing I was told was, "You didn't buy the warranty." What they meant was an additional warranty--completely brushing past the fact that there's still a manufacturer's warranty. Then I was told it would be a 2-3 hour wait just to have someone look at them. Frustrated, I went straight to Ron's and talked with Tom. Within minutes, he clearly explained the difference, confirmed the manufacturer warranty, and was upfront about what he could and couldn't do since he didn't sell me the tires. While I'm not sure Oasis is the cheapest auto repair place in town (maybe it is - I did not shop around), I feel good about my experiences here. I don't know much about car maintenance and repairs, but don't feel like I was taken advantage of. 5 stars for honesty and service, timeliness of repairs, and good quality work.
