What a disappointment. I used to be stationed at Pendleton and the I'd go to the Stampede 1 or 2 times a week. I went last night for the first time in about 8 years. I definitely won't be going back. The music was just club and hip hop music. No country music at all. No more guys dancing for the girls while the girls sit on the dance floor. When it was a true honky Tonk, every night was packed. If most nights are like last night, it makes sense why the place was maybe at a quarter capacity. No passion anymore, just a generic club. Boring and lame. read more

If I could give a negative review, I totally would. The bouncers are thieves. My lady went in and asked what she had in her purse. She was honest about having a pocket knife in her purse. She was told to go lay it out somewhere and grab it later. A secondary bouncer headed to where she hid it and picked it up and that was witnessed by my girl. 1st bouncer was telling the secondary bouncer to run inside before my girl was able to catch up. The knife they stole from her was to protect herself from anyone especially if she's not from there. If something happened to her that night and she did not have protection. Absolutely Heartbreaking and Disrespectful Experience -- Will Never Return I've never felt so violated and disrespected at a venue in my life. My cousin and I were escorted out of Temecula Stampede after going into the same bathroom stall -- after we had already gone through strict security and a full pat-down. My cousin is dyslexic and needed my help. We weren't doing anything wrong. We were sober. We weren't causing problems. We were just trying to enjoy a night out with our family. OK I wasn't sure what to make of this place going in I'm not really into line dancing, and this place is all about the line dancing. We got there rather early 730. They already had their line dancing coach ( Phillep) right in the middle of the floor . We boot scooted ourselves around that floor for close to four hours, and we only paid a five dollar cover fee. Whhhhaaaaattttt! We burned off so many calories I was ready for a second dinner . The people were also nice , the music was great. It was very safe they've got tons of security around the building. They've got the mechanical bull if you feel so inclined. The cocktails are extremely reasonable in price. They don't bite your head off when you just ask for a glass of ice water . The bathrooms were very clean, air, conditioned dance floor. Again , I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about this place. I've heard reviews from people saying good, bad and just ok. However , I liked it. I liked it a lot and I think I'll go back and I'll burn a few more calories. read more

I came here on a Saturday night with a group of friends. There is a line to get in and security pats you down and everything which takes awhile. You can pay cover with a card though which was nice! Dance floor is large but it has railings which was unexpected to me. Railing on the edge and in the middle such that there was a square-ish dance floor in the middle and then a kind of "track" on the outer part for two steppers. For being a country bar, not much country music was played which was a bit disappointing. But still nice mix of line dancing and swing. My recent experience at Stampede was frustrating due to a lack of professional staff and poor management. After waiting in line for the mechanical bull for over 20 minutes (with the person in front of me waiting even longer), a staff member returned but helped a couple who had just arrived. When I brought this to her attention, she was unhelpful and rude. When a manager and security got involved, they refused to check the timestamps on our completed waivers, claiming they weren't valid because a staff member wasn't present when they were filled out. This was illogical, as the timestamps still proved we were there first. Both the manager and security seemed uninterested in resolving the issue fairly or honoring the time we had waited. They dismissed my concerns and showed no willingness to find a reasonable solution. It was a disheartening display of poor customer service. After walking away from the situation, I was thanked by the girl who was in front of me for speaking up for her, and was also told by other witnesses that I had their support in the situation. I ended up leaving without riding the bull, as I didn't want to support a business that treats its patrons this way. It's a shame, as the female staff at the entrance were very kind and professional, and most of your other staff are great. I am willing to speak with higher leadership to discuss this situation further and will adjust my review based on their response. read more

Honestly HUGE let down. I never write reviews, but I think people should warned before they go to this place. I went last night for my sister's bachelorette and everyone was super judge mental, non inclusive, and very rude. The DJ was also so disrespectful and blatantly rude. We requested one song for the bride and he complained over the microphone for about 10 minutes and talked bad about our whole group, including the bride, while we were waiting quietly and patiently. When her song came up, everyone on the dance floor was visibly irritated and the DJ blamed the bride over the microphone while she was on the dance floor. I am very disappointed in this establishment and we will not be returning here. I hope the owners consider a new DJ that has better a better attitude and manners. This place has gone down in a tail spin for years. Their "DJ" Kermie or whatever doesn't seem to understand that the "Stampede" is a country bar. There's nothing country about this place other than the mechanical bull when you walk in. When asked to play country music, I was met with, "This is country." When he was playing pop, hip hop, and borderline techno. Seriously disappointed in this place and hopefully management can make a change back to their roots, but I strongly doubt it. I was really looking forward to visiting this place yesterday, but unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed. I fully cooperated with security during the entry process. As part of their search, they asked to check the bottoms of my boots. I had no issue with that and briefly held onto my friend for balance while lifting each foot. After that, one security member cleared me to go through, but another stopped me and claimed I was too intoxicated to enter--simply because I had held onto my friend. I calmly explained that I wasn't intoxicated and was only maintaining balance during their check, but they still refused us entry. It was a frustrating and confusing experience, especially since we were excited to go line dancing and enjoy the night. Security's judgment felt unfair and left us very disappointed. read more

I just went to the Stampede to celebrate a friend's birthday. OMG this place is so fun! The ambiance was great from the moment we arrived. They had fun lighting, several bars and food, a shop and bull riding. The music and line dancing was a total blast. We drove three hours to get there and are already planning another girl's trip to go back. 100% recommend! read more

When we got to the front they gave us a very hard time for having breast milk in a small thermos and pump parts and did not want to let us in, we felt extremely unwelcomed and charges a cover. Nov. 8 2025: Overall I liked the vibe and ambience of this country club. What I did not like was how the girls (specifically the brunette, who put it in, not sure if the blonde was in on it) thought I was drunk and decided to try to tip themselves $2 when I was paying to get on the bull. How dare y'all take advantage of drunk individuals for extra money. If you see your bank transaction as any number besides $10 for the bull, be sure to call your bank and claim FRAUD. The bull should be $10 to ride, $15 to ride including a shot, and $30 to ride with a T-shirt. Y'all could get sued for this. read more

This guy on the picture has this shirt but tells you he's taking a break. Fire him already. They only dance with girls they want to. We were also in line for drinks and lady behind us told us not to get food because it sucks. We ended up getting nachos just to munch on something and I think the nachos at 7/11 are better. This place is not it. Girl at the front with black hair checking my id gave me a look like she wanted to run me over whilst I got mine out to show. She continued to stare me down for the rest of the night and was a bystander to a situation in which a woman came up to me and told me to get off of the dance floor with two other people on it saying that I was going to bump into them, mind you I believe they worked there. So basically I paid 10 dollars drinks tips just to get treated so poorly when I know more line dances than I can count and have been line dancing since I was a child. Very rude staff. read more

I wish I could give them 0 stars but a 1 star is the lowest review possible. I never write reviews, but this was probably the worst experience I've ever had in hospitality. This place is completely discriminatory, particularly towards Hispanics. I would even go as far as to call them racists. All of their staff was Caucasian, expect for one African American security guard. The night started when my wife and I decided to go there after our wedding with some of our guests. Once we arrived, they immediately denied us entry because they claimed my wife was "too intoxicated" and that "have higher standards at this establishment". This wasn't based on anything other than his opinion. My wife wasn't stumbling, slurring her words, or showing any sign of intoxication. I informed him that we are coming from our wedding and of course she has a few drinks but she wasn't drunk. She started getting snooty and I asked to speak to his manager. Once I explained the situation to the security manager, he even gave his employee a look like "come on dude, it's their wedding night" and he let us in if we promised not to consume alcohol. Within 5 minutes of us entering, they escorted one of our guests out for "being aggressive". However, there was no aggression present. My cousin had paid for the mechanical bull ride, signed the waiver, and as soon as he got on the bull, the employee told him to get off and start the process all over again. He explained that he already paid and filled out the waiver and she said "I didn't tell you to get on". After a few snarky comments, my cousin finally said something back and she had 3 security guards escort him out for being "aggressive". My cousin is a gay Mexican man weighing 120 pounds and is no way aggressive. This was about control. I asked to speak to the manager to find a middle ground and he was the worst of the lot. This manager was different from the security manager. This guy is also Caucasian, about 6'2", tattooed sleeves, and for lack of a better word, douchey attitude. When I asked why was he kicked out and if there was any middle ground we can find, he just smiled and said "I've never had any issues with this employee before and I'm not taking your cousins word over hers". I said "that's completely understandable as a manager, but that's only one side of the story. I've known my cousin longer than you've known your employee and I know he's not aggressive, so I in turn can't take her story over my cousins". His response was "you're being argumentative so guess what, you're kicked out too". I then said "it's our wedding day, and we brought 20 people to spend money and line dance here. Can't there be any middle ground?" He responded with "kick rocks". That's when I understood that he's the ring leader and why all other employees were acting the way they do. They think they can talk to guests however they want and kick you out if you call them out on their poor service. Since they kicked us out, all of our guests went to another bar down the street only to find out that manager called the surrounding bars telling them "don't let the bridal party in". We found this out when we arrived to next bar. Their security asked "are you the bridal party?" I said "yes" and he told us that the stampede manager called them to block our entry. But he said no way and let was kind enough to stay open after hours just for us. So to the smart ass manager at Stampede, looks like the jokes on you. read more

Went to Emily Ann Roberts show. She was amazing. The food, on the other hand, sucked. We paid $14 for some freezer chicken strips and fries. They took an hour to make our food. Turns out their fryer broke down. Decided to wait, and never got a text saying our food was ready. Went back to pick up our food and it wasn't even under a heat lamp. The girl handed us our food and it was obviously cold because who knows how long it was sitting out. We asked the girl for a new plate and she said they didn't have anymore so we asked for a refund. The girl had to call the manager. The manager came over after 20 min. The manager asked to take a picture of my husband's phone to show we never received a text. Then she proceeded to LIE and say she would give us our refund but she "had to go upstairs to do it" because she couldn't do it on the system they had initially charged us with. The manager had long blond hair. Don't know her name. But if you're reading this, you should make this right and give us our refund. $14 may not seem like a lot but that's a pair of shoes I could've bought my kids. read more

Went to this place on Friday and was celebrating a bachelorette party, they checked my ID and scanned it, went in stayed a couple hours and left. The next day we wanted to go back again, made line and when I get my ID checked the girl checking it looked at it scanned and flashed the UV light on it. She said I'm gonna have somebody else look at it. Another guy comes over and checks it as well and scans the UV light again. He tells me I can't let you in because we can't authenticate your ID. I told him I was just here yesterday and he replied with "I'm sorry, but I can't see any holograms on your ID, normally they'll have a cactus" (Arizona ID). I take out my phone and turn the flash light on and tell him it's right there! And he replies with "sorry unfortunately I can't allow you to go in anymore". The only other explanation for this unfortunate situation was racially profiling, because nothing else makes sense. My fiancé is cop and he physically looked at my ID and says nothing was absolutely wrong with it. read more

LAME. Not for newbies or anyone not a regular. Not for country fans. Not for line dancing fans. Seems to cater to a very limited clientele of arrogant, scantily clad showoffs who try to impress everyone. Anyone new has to just stand or sit awkwardly and watch the "show" because we sure don't feel welcome on the dance floor. Came at 6 for lessons at 6:30. Lessons didn't start til 7:45!! Then it was 3 VERY short lessons, not very well taught, no apology for being so late, with 40 min of complicated dances for the regulars in between. Just no fun for anyone who doesn't come every weekend and can't possibly pick up the absurdly complex dances. Plus 70% of the songs were pop remixes, not country. Don't expect line dancing classics like Incahoots used to have! No cotton eyed Joe, watermelon crawl, god blessed Texas, boot scootin boogie, or cowboy cha cha. Just song after song of super fast pop garbage and complicated twirling dances only the regulars know. I even made some classic requests and they never got played. Just not a fun vibe for anyone looking for a true line dancing experience. Too much ego, showing off, arrogance, and superiority from those who have the ability to show up regularly. Newbies are not welcomed or wanted. We just get in their way apparently. Not worth the drive. Not worth the cover. Bring back classic line dancing and leave this crappy music and showoff vibes to regular clubs! read more

Got kicked out by some power-tripping worker named Stan, who clearly thinks running a bar means running a dictatorship. We weren't loud, we weren't causing trouble -- just existing apparently offended his fragile ego.
