When you have a move on a schedule, even 20 minutes could throw your schedule off. He processed the reservation quickly and had the truck ready in no time. I was also disappointed by the cleanliness of the truck. I get it that employees don't have time to clean, but with the ongoing pandemic, I would expect better cleaning processes.

Last year, in August 2024, I rented a 10x10 storage unit for $124.20. By the end of my lease, just over a year later, my bill had increased to $236.20. It is unacceptable that the rent for my unit was raised every 2-4 months, under the justification that your rates were "matching current market rates" -- a claim I believe to be inaccurate. In comparison, locally owned storage facilities typically adjust rates annually or every other year, not multiple times within a single year. Additionally, upon moving out, I discovered that the walls of my unit were marked as 9x10. I signed a contract for a 10x10 unit, and I believe I am owed a refund or adjustment if the unit I rented was indeed smaller than advertised. Between the continuous, frequent rate increases and the inaccurate unit measurements, I am extremely dissatisfied. I intend to report this matter to the Better Business Bureau and seek clarification regarding any refund or adjustment owed. Given the issues I experienced, I consider my time with this storage facility a regrettable use of a year, and I will not be returning as a customer ever.

On many occasions when I have come to access my storage, I've noticed staff frequently coming around or remaining in the area while I'm there. I completely understand that employees have responsibilities around the property and that regular security checks are necessary. However, this is not based on one isolated incident. It is something I have noticed repeatedly during my visits, which is why it has started to make me uncomfortable. I don't want to assume what the reason is or suggest that anyone is intentionally watching customers, because I simply don't know. I can only describe my experience. When the same thing seems to happen repeatedly while you are accessing or organizing your personal belongings, it can create the feeling that you are being watched or checked on rather than simply seeing normal property monitoring. I appreciate having security at a storage facility, but customers should also be able to access their rented space without feeling uncomfortable or overly monitored. I hope management will take this feedback seriously and find a balance between maintaining security and allowing customers a reasonable sense of privacy while using their storage.
