I have been getting powder dipped nails for a few months at Felicie and never had a bad experience until recently... The last 3 appointments I made I was not called back until 20 minutes past my appointment time. I get that they are booking through a website, Instagram and allowing walk-ins so they do get pretty busy. But I'll admit at least twice I was silently freaking out about being 20 mins late to pick my son up from school. Leaving satisfied with my nails was hit or miss. But everyone is different and has different techniques so sometimes I'd love them, sometimes I'd just be satisfied they were freshly done. Until the other day! I showed up for my appointment (which was scheduled to be with Kai) the gentleman at the counter asked what I needed, I said I was there for an appointment, I don't believe he understood and asked again what I needed, so I repeated I was there for an appointment at 1pm. He never looked at the computer in front of him, had a confused look and so I said "appointment at 1 for Julia" he proceeded to look around the room asked yet again what I needed, what is it for. I said a powder dip. He asked if I was okay with anyone doing them, I said yes that's fine. He seemed very bothered or annoyed he had to do my nails. To start off my worries through this entire appointment he never asked me if I wanted them cut down. Before I could even realize he wasn't cutting them shorter (or asking me) he started the dip. I figured maybe he'll ask me later and file them down. He proceeded to apply FIVE, layers of dip on each finger. They are uneven and inconsistent in thickness, some are bumpy, bubbly, but all are ridiculously thick. They look as if I have acrylic which is why I get powder dip. I don't like the fake plastic square look on my hands. As he shaving down the top layers with the dremel I was relieved but they are still very thick. He nicked FOUR of my cuticles, to the point of drawing blood by the time I left. I have a very high pain tolerence but that hurt! The dremel spun around my finger at least twice due to him slipping because he was legitimately focusing more on what design the technician next to him was doing on her clients nails! Every 10-15 seconds he would look over at her nails rather than mine! After we were finished he told me to go wash my hands, my cuticles were stinging and burning from the beating they took. For a few days infact. His filing job consisted of just 2 quick swipes of the filing stick along the sides of my nails. My right index finger is half round, half square while my left is completely square. The rest of my nails are inconsistent with eachother in length and shape. Currently, after a few days the coloration is deforming, almost tie dye looking but not in a cool fashion sense way. If it wasn't so expensive now a days I would already have these removed and replaced. I am bummed I will have to search yet again for a different nail salon. read more

Called a week prior to make a pedicure appointment, the person I spoke to was super nice and booked the appointment. The day of, I waited 30 minutes past my appointment time to be called to the chair. The lady who did my nails was so nice and did an amazing job. I came back again today to give them another try for a gel mani. My appointment was at 4 and it's now 4:25 and I'm still waiting. I'll update with how my nails turned out but this will be the last time I come here. I've never waited this long to get me nails done while I had An appointment. Update: I left. It's as 35 minutes past my appointment time and when I asked how much longer it would be, they said when the nail tech was done with the pedicure that was being done behind me. She wasn't even halfway done with the pedicure. I would have waited an hour past my appointment time. They need to stop over booking their customers. read more

My fingernails were completely uneven and the gel placed on top was very bumpy. The guy cut the cuticle area of my nails three times and they bled. Three days later, the gel started peeling from my fingernails. My toenails were pedicured but a few days later, there was pain and pus on two toes on the right foot. I will never have my nails done at this salon ever again. I paid allot of money for these services and I regret going here. read more

I called at 12 for two walk ins and was set to be seen at 12:30. The woman on the phone was straight to the point and so nice. The place was super clean, every product smelled so nice, nice music. My boyfriend and I did the signature pedicure and I got some polish after. I got Adrianna (I don't know how it's spelled haha) and she did awesome! I went to this salon last week and had a very disappointing appointment. The reviews were so promising that I double checked the salon name on my way out the door to make sure I was at the same one with all these amazing reviews. I am super shy about going to new places but am new to the area and seeking a new home for getting my nails done. I had made an appointment via text over a week in advance and they confirmed it with a text which was awesome, I always appreciate these text reminders. The problem is that they sent me the wrong time in the text message, so I planned that time and when I arrived at that time, I got scolded for being wrong. From the moment I walked in the door, I didn't feel welcome. The facility is clean and looks nice but the staff were overwhelmed, uninterested in helping me, and very impersonal. A nice lady started my nails, I tried to ask for something different like a design but she ignored my request so I picked a color and figured it would all be ok. To be honest a lot of nail experiences for me are a little strange the first visit so at this point, I still was just going with the flow. After the lady took off my old nail art, she passed me over to someone else to do the nails. He didn't say much to me which I was ok with however when I tried to point out a few flaws and bumps in the nails, he grabbed my hands and showed me the nails saying "they are beautiful, natural" then continued dipping. Anyways I would rate them higher if they would have addressed it corrected the faults in the work when I pointed it out but here I am with lumpy nails, rough edges that are catching in my hair and clothes, and an inconsistent color. Needless to say, I'm going to keep looking for a salon that can be more suitable for me. read more

I loved this place at first but lately not so much. They were not ready for my last two scheduled appointments. Today I had an appointment at 2:30, they called to say don't come until 3 because were busy. I got there at 3 and ended up waiting another 20 minutes. When I asked how long it was going to be because my appointment was at 2:30 and (I had now waited 50 minutes) the guy was like your appointment was at 3....on top of that the last time I got a pedi I was charged wrong. I requested a $50 pedi that includes paraffin wax & hot stone massage. I never got the paraffin or massage. I assumed the girl thought I requested a cheaper pedicure package. After my nails I did my brows. The prices are not displayed anywhere. After showing the girl what I wanted on the menu she took the menu & put it away. I was charged well over $100 for my fill, pedi & brows. So I believe I was charged for the more expensive pedi even though I didn't receive it. Unfortunately the receipt only tells you your total. No breakdown of what each service cost. There is a new sign that says tips are cash only now, but when they swipe your credit card they ask if you want to add a tip to it! I'm over it. read more

Worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. I had an appointment set and they still had me waiting at least 20 more minutes and I had to tell 4 different people what service I was getting. This older man started to do my nails and he cut my fingers many times with his drill. My nails were lumpy and all different shaped. Everyone seemed like they were in a rush because they wouldn't stop bickering with each other and it was just tense all around. I come to relax and get my nails done but I can't do that when all the employees are constantly arguing and gossiping. I left feeling like I got robbed and with bloody cuticles.
