Unethical, Dysfunctional Business. I needed a residential bay window replaced. Called around town and finally settled on Temecula Glass due to their lowest bid price of $1296 which was verbally agree upon. After final measurements were taken, I gave my credit card and was charged $887 (which was not informed to me as a deposit but no big deal I assumed, because it was less than the agreed upon price). After the work was done (which included damaging my side fence with their ladder then having to come back and fix it but not offering any apology credits or restitution for time and inconvenience), I was SUDDENLY and WITHOUT WARNING, ESTIMATE, INVOICE, or PERMISSION, charged another $918 to the credit card they had apparently kept on-file. Now to restate, no paper estimate of total work pricing, signed permission to use or keep my credit card, or approval to charge my card a second time was EVER CREATED OR EXCHANGED. Quite the business 101 practice. Putting aside the ethical issue of this company charging whatever pricing they want, to whatever payment they feel like, whenever they please, the math of $887 + $918 = $1805 (aka NOT CLOSE TO THE ORIGINAL AGREED UPON TOTAL OF $1296 for which I budgeted). So I called the company's administration and was explained there was a 3.5% fee for using a credit card, which again makes no sense since $1296 - $887 + $409 and 3.5% of $409 is $14.31 FOR AN EXPECTED SECOND PAYMENT OF $423.31 (yes, apparently I have to do simple math for a small business). When asked why there was never an estimate or invoice or written permission request to use the same credit card or notification of a 3.5% fee...... I was told that they were in transition of offices and disorganized at that time so THE JOB SHOULDN'T HAVE EVEN BEEN TAKEN IN THE FIRST PLACE ! I filed a dispute with my bank regarding the second, unapproved, non-agreed upon charge of $918. But since it was my mistake of trusting this company with my debit/credit card and trusting word of mouth pricing, there was not enough proof either way and the bank is not going to take the $918 hit. The only evidendce this company provided was two receipts that they charged my card those amounts. Uh, duh! How else would we have gotten here?? So, once again in our post-covid, entitled society, another company got away with their lazy, unethical and dishonest practices for the "bottom line" over the customer's happiness... FOR NOW. But standby, civil action is pending. If you'd like the same headache and scramble to come up with extra $500+ over what you ever expected, feel free to take your chances with this joke of a business. read more

So I called this company and explained that my double pain window on my sunroom had shattered on the outside not inside. They asked me to send photos which I did. With that they sent someone to take measurements. After doing so they ordered the glass. It took about two weeks. The installer comes today and I say to him I took out the shattered glass there is only a little around the frame. I even taped it so he didn't get cut and so that it wouldn't fall in the pool. He takes pictures then calls his office to say he's not doing the job. So I call the office and they start with all the lies. I'm like wait I sent you pictures before hand and you said okay. With that said I said I want my window that I paid for, she then tells another lie saying we need three people. The window weighs about 10lbs. Finally I said just get the window off the truck and move on. So that's what he did voluntarily. I ordered to replace from patio door to sliding door on Aug/ 2017. It was badly done. After long argument, they finally came back to re-install it. On Mar/26/ 2018, I had electric short. It was his screw damaged the electric wire and it took time to wear all the way through. After long argument, finally Contractor came back (Apr/11/2018) but he did not offer to remove wood piece that he installed and check the wire. He just replaced long screw to short screw and said I can turn the power back on. After few days, the electrician they hired said there is no fire hazard to leave the wire in the wall because breaker will shut off. Finally, they agreed to fix the wire but they did not offer to take the window out to return to original condition. They put wire outside to save money. Also they do not offer to pay me back $300 that I paid to the handyman to find out where is the short come from. I paid $2000 to buy nightmare and I spent over 30 hours of stress and annoyance to deal with this door since first day. read more

Had no idea what they were doing. I needed a gasket for my shower door frame to hold in glass.took my old one in and for $45 they sold me something similar saying it would work. Didn't work at all. Refunded me the money for gasket even though they were mad I cut it. Told me to bring the shower door in and they could do it for me. So I did. Took my shower door in and they said no problem. Some man grabbed it and took it in back and said it was fixed and I needed to leave t there for a day to dry. He also mentioned he didn't actually work there but knew them. Thought hat was odd. Charged me $70 and told me to come back the next day. I called the next day and they said they wanted to keep it longer to have their technician check it. I called back several days that week and they kept saying they needed it through the weekend. I knew something wasn't right. Went in one week later and they brought it out to me and it was a MESS! The gasket wasn't the right one and didn't fit. Silicone was smeared everywhere since they "siliconed" it in and one side had a large bead of silicone half an inch thick. It looked horrible. I told them it was not ok and their response was we did the best we could it cant be fixed. I told them you should of told me that before saying you could and I wouldn't have paid for this. They refused to refund my money stating they had already refunded me before when I bought and cut the gasket. I was disgusted with how they made it look. What a joke. And they weren't even embarrassed by it. Took it to Ace Glass in Moreno Valley and they charged me $40 to clean all the silicone mess off and put in correct gasket. I'll write a review for only two reasons; either I've had a particularly great experience, or a particularly bad one. And I'm just as quick to write for one as the other. Unfortunately, this is one of the truly bad ones. We recently purchased a new home in Temecula and we wanted to upgrade the mirrors in the three bathrooms. I called Temecula Glass, and I'm SO very sorry I did. My experience with them started out bad, then went from bad to worse. To begin with, I of course called to set up an appt. for someone to come out to see what was needed. I was told I'd get a callback that day...a call that never came. I called them the next day and an appt. was set for the day after, and they did show on time for that. I waited...and waited...and waited.....for a call from them with a quote. That call never came. I finally called them on the third day and I was told that someone would be calling later that day or at worst, the next. THAT call never came. So AGAIN I called them and AGAIN spoke with Stephanie, (who is the one bright light in this nightmare)and I was AGAIN told that someone would call me...that she didn't understand what the delay was. NINE DAYS AFTER THE CONSULT, and after I called THEM yet again, I was given a quote over the phone. I agreed to the price and an appt. was set for that coming Tuesday...this was on a Friday. Today, Tuesday, I was at the house waiting for them by 9AM. The appt was set for between 9AM and 11AM. They showed up at noon. Ok.....sh-t happens...no biggie. They went into the house through the open garage and went directly upstairs. I followed them in and called upstairs to them as I had not wanted theme to go upstairs without either taking off their shoes or wearing booties....something I'd made VERY clear to them on the phone. One of the two guys...I believe the owner of the company...became almost confrontational....saying "We're not taking off our shoes...we're working with glass". This seemed fair and logical to me and I understood, so I asked them to put on booties, which they couldn't do because they didn't have any. Fine. So I offered to run to The Home Depot real quick and buy booties, explaining it would be a 15-20 minutes round trip. I was told that was too long....that I'd have to reschedule for the following day. I said no, I could not do that. I'd explained to them, as I did on the phone with their gal, that we did not yet live in the house and had to specifically meet them there for the express purpose of this job being done. So then they said ok.....that they'd measure a few things while I ran for the booties. (We have just installed $15K worth of new beige Berber carpeting....and contractors were pouring concrete for our new driveway...hence the need for the booties). I was b ack in 20 minutes with a box of booties. A few minutes later, they told me they were short a piece of something...that they'd have to come back later in the afternoon. I said 'well, ok.....I'll wait here for you...I guess I'll have to". THat was 1PM. I waited there like an idiot till 4:45, giving them the benefit of the doubt. No show. I called their office and got their voicemail three times. I waited till almost 5:30 and rocket scientist me figured out they weren't coming back. Five minutes after I left to go back to Perris, I get a call from a woman saying that no, they weren't coming back today...that they took another job and would return in the morning. I just lost it. I read her the riot act...my frustration at that point with these inconsiderate, irresponsible people climaxed. I told her I never wanted to see them again...not to come near me, my wife, or my house. She then asked if I wanted to have them come that evening. I said of course not! I'd just waited 5 hours for nothing! She said fine...then we need to come and take back what we installed already...which as only trim! The mirrors were already there. I told her again to make sure I never saw anyone from their company again...told her to go ahead and sue me. She said that they certainly would. Then she called back and left a message...I'd missed the call....saying that they wanted payment, or to come get their trim back...which amounted to almost nothing...or they would put a lean on my house. It's ok for them to cost me a day's work but not ok for me to place a value on MY time...a convcept obviously foreign to them. It's not surprise to me that their BBB rating is a "D". I restore antiques and often have to bring picture frames back to life. Of course the glass is either missing or broken. I recently moved to Temecula from NYC, and I have to say that everyone at Temecula Glass are just amazing and super friendly. I usually only need a few pieces of glass cut to fit a small frame. I called and asked if he could come back and remeasure and I was told that he would call, but he never even called. I would have been disappointed but also would have understood if they were no longer interested in doing the job. But to simply blow us off as they did was, in my opinion, very unprofessional. I would give negative 5 stars if I could. This company's customer service is horrendous! Called to get a quote on a replacement sliding glass door, they said they'd call back to schedule. A week later, no call, I call again. They finally gave me a day and time they could come out to quote. The guy arrived on time, took measurements, and left but didn't explain the process or next steps. Several days later I got a call with a verbal quote over the phone but was told I would need to have the base leveled and sloped outward away from the house before they would be able to install and they didn't do the prep work. I asked for the quote for the door to be emailed to me so I had it in writing. The next day I still hadn't received the quote but called because my general contractor had questions on what they needed him to do to prepare for the install and whether the door was retrofit (no idea). As soon as the lady answered the phone and I introduced myself she got an attitude and said she hadn't had time to email the quote yet. Great, but that's not what I'm calling about. I explained my GC had questions like if the door was retrofit and she snapped that she told me it was! Okay, I don't remember that, but at that point I handed the phone to my GC to deal with her and get his questions answered. Another week went by and still no email with sales quote. So I call again and leave a message explaining I've been waiting over a week to get my quote emailed so I can move forward with ordering the door but if I didn't hear back from them I would take my business elsewhere. It's been 4 days and still no return call or quote!! Absolutely ridiculous! I went on Home Depot to request a quote from them, they came out same day, Frank was so knowledgeable and walked me through the whole process and was friendly and professional. He spent an hour with me and showed me all the options so we could pick what worked best for our needs and budget. They provide a lifetime guarantee, gave me the quote and sales contract on the spot and their installer does all the prep and leveling needed without me needing to hire someone else to do it. They were a couple hundred cheaper as well! We'll eventually need new windows as well and I will definitely NOT be calling Temecula Glass! Came here to get a laminate custom glass done. Initially the lady in the front reassured me they could cut the shape and that it would be exact. They made me pay in full up front and told me they were busy and it would take 2 weeks. I didn't mind and accepted the terms. Two weeks go by and I give them a call. First thing I would like to note is every time I called it was as if the lady who first sold me the glass was rushing me off the phone. She tells me they just got the glass and are waiting for the glass cutter to be free. Okay so I wait a week and call back. This time she tells me, oh the glass cutter is very busy with much more expensive jobs and I'm not sure when he will be free. This really ticked me off, she pretty much said my less expensive job, which btw I already paid in full and have been waiting three weeks patiently, is the least of their priorities. So I decide to call Andy's Glass and they say the cutter will be free in the next day or so. So I decide to call Temecula Glass and I ask for a refund for the labor that has not been done, but I will pay and take the glass they ordered. Her response, word for word, " Well yeah they already tried to cut it and broke the glass so its best you come pick up your templates". lol at this point I was taken back. To this day, I can't tell whether she is just a liar and wanted to put the blame on me. Anyways I go in to pick my stuff up and they got the freakin nerve to lecture me on how I should bring it to a specialized glass shop. I tell them I'm going to Andy's glass. I call Temecula Glass this Friday to help repair a sliding patio door which is very difficult to open and close. I was told that they were busy and could not come out until the following week. About 10 minutes later they called and told me they had a cancellation and could be here in about 20 minutes in which I said great. Jeremy arrived 20 minutes later and looked at the door. He said the bottom rollers and track needed to be replaced. He had the rollers but not the track in his truck. He said to let him see what materials they had in the shop to keep the price down. He called a few hours later and said it would be in the mid $300's to repair the rollers and track, was originally quoted over $500. He said he would be back between 1-3pm on Monday to make the repairs. He showed up at 2PM with parts in hand. He did a professional repair and the door never worked better.
