FULL DISCLOSURE- This review is based on customer service only and my experience alone. We will not be using this company due to lack of communication and eagerness to do business. We contacted this company based on reviews and us being in the market to upgrade our sliders(back on August 20th). I submitted a quote and it didnt take long for me to get a quick response back from shirley. We did our best to explain what we were looking for and what our time line was, however since it was "close" to them closing they couldnt stay on the phone to do business so Jeff the owner asked us to send him photos and blueprints of our house to get an idea on whether or not our project was feasible. We sent everything over almost immediately after hanging up the phone with them.. Almost a week goes by and we dont hear anything from them, so I decide to call back and ask if they received our photos. Shirley picks up and I had to explain to her again who i was and why I was calling. She tells me that they did receive them but put it in the back burner for some reason. Again, this was close to closing time(3pm. They close at 5)so Jeff quickly gets on the phone and shuts down our project pretty much immediately. Hmm? So I tell him I would like to go another direction with our project if possible. So I give him a quick description and he tells me he will send out the info to some company that's out of state and will get back to me(this was on the 25th of august and it is now September 1st) we still haven't received anything from them. Im not sure if they think we arent serious or they are just way too busy. But a phone call or an email isn't hard to do. The fact that both times they(shirley) kept mentioning they are getting ready to leave, gave me a feeling our business isn't that important to them. Fortunately for us there are other note worthy companies out there with the same if not better reviews. Who has gotten back to us with the same pictures and description of our project that we sent them. We may only be one consumer with a negative review but I'll be sure this company wont be the first one I suggest on the list of companies to use. read more

Do you think it's possible to cut into stucco and drywall; remove a picture window; remove the wall under the window; do all electrical; install a 6ft slider; repair and texture the stucco and install the door casing; ALL IN ONE DAY? They did all that and more and without a mess or problem. Ron, Kenny and Michael worked seamlessly to get the job done. They were polite and courteous. Almost 2 years later, and my wife and I finally got our 2 sliding glass doors done today... I seriously wish we would've had them done back then, they are AMAZING! The guys showed up this morning right before 8 AM and literally just walked out 3 hours later. Jess' team was super friendly and worked efficiently throughout the entire process (moving furniture, removing drapes, clean up, etc). I shopped around a while back for new doors and nobody came close to the service and quality that A Perfect View offers. Super happy with our new install the day before Thanksgiving! Called Jess came out to see why my windows were loose in the wall. He showed me that the previous owner put in top notch windows but they were all installed wrong. The windows weren't sealed to the house outside. The 1" clearance gap around the window wasn't even sealed with foam. A few of the windows were held by one screw. The inside trim was even coming off causing a draft. He gave me a great price to pop out the windows reseal and recaulk inside and out. As well as put in the screws needed to hold the window in place with all new trim on the inside. They even cleaned the tracks and windows while I washed the screens outside. Can't say enough about A Perfect View Construction. We had some faulty windows replaced recently and the company that did the work did not feel comfortable doing the stucco work to complete the job. It was a little complicated and they suggested we find someone else Fortunately, A Petfect View Construction had done some window and stucco work previously, and we were pleased with the outcome. I contacted Jess, the owner about doing the work and he said he would ask one of his crew if they wanted a side job. Kenny and Ron were here today to do the work, and they did a beautiful job. The first door they attempted to install had a manufacturing mistaken, and although I would have never been able to tell, they wanted to do the job right, and reordered the door. Once the new door arrived and was installed, I have been nothing but happy with the results. Awesome to work with this company and I will definitely will be using them again. First off we will continue to use A Perfect View Construction's crew for our continued renovations. Met with Jess and Shirley for a free quote, they came to Cathedral City, CA. Had an informational meeting followed by my quote, timeframe and install dates. They showed up with my windows prepped my home and began installing. I have 2 dogs and a cat they were very careful and friendly to them. My sliders being replaced were very close to my pool and they were careful not to get materials in the pool. I replaced a 5' slider with a 10' slider so there was major construction. So very friendly and clean it made the process and project enjoyable. I highly recommend them. I have had 18 different contractors for our renovations and they are 1 of 2 I would recommend. read more

We had 14 windows to replace. Original 1980 single pane metal frame windows. Jess gave us a very reasonable quote and said it would take 2 days to install. We went ahead and after a few days was contacted to setup an install date. We could of had it done in a couple weeks but due to vacation plans had to put it off. The crew arrived right on time on the scheduled date. They immediately started covering things up to keep clean. Then it seems they worked nonstop the whole day to complete the install in one day. These guys were hustling. Kenny, the supervisor, kept his guys moving and more importantly made sure they did everything correctly. The finished product is excellent! These guys do great work! If I were to start the whole house hunting process over, I think I would be a little more careful regarding windows and doors. I have a colleague who told me to take a close look at the windows and doors of the houses that I was considering but I, in a rush to find a place where I wanted to live, relegated that to a secondary concern. I learned why that was a bad idea when the windows leaked the heat in the summer and the cold in the winter. Lesson learned. So I shopped around for replacements for nine windows and two sliding glass doors. I got quotes from purveyors of Milgard, Simonton and Pacific Crystal and weighed my options. The owner, Jess, came to my house and brought actual samples of the windows with him. We went over the major brands and he offered the positive and negative aspects of each. Unlike some of the others, he did not badmouth his competitors; instead, he gave strengths and weaknesses. He told me about his experience in the field and detailed the work that would go into replacing my windows and doors. We talked price and his bid came in lower than the others. Last Friday, Jess and his crew (Kevin and August) performed the install. They were quick, efficient and thorough. The windows and doors look great and I was surprised just how much better the house looked and how much safer we all felt. If I were to offer one complaint (and one warning for those looking to replace windows and doors) is the smell from the sealants used in the process. They are pretty strong, just so you know. But I am not going to blame the guys from A Perfect View for that. If you are in the market for windows and doors, I very strongly suggest calling Jess and having him give you the skinny on the industry. I am guessing that you will go with his firm. Fantastic company! We had custom oversized doors installed where there was none prior. So this included casing, and cutting to fit without damaging our baseboards. Their workmanship was great! They did such a great job no one would be able to tell they were a new addition. We greatly appreciate them arriving on time, with masks on, and kept the entire area neat and clean. Completely disappointed. We had someone come out to take measurements of all the windows in our entire house for new windows.. this took 2 hours.. which was fine. What was NOT fine is that they then said they would get back to us with a quote within a few days but instead here we are a few weeks (4 weeks!!) later with no follow up. So I decided to call and see what happened. They were not apologetic nor did they seem to care that we didn't get a call back. They told us to find another option because they couldn't provide the service, which is fine but they should've at least called to let us know they wouldn't be able to do it instead of ghosting us. The bottom line is if you're looking to be strung along, have your project delayed for over a month, and being treated like you're not valued as a customer - this company is for you! read more

The install crew took great pains to make sure my flooring was not dirtied and they were polite, quiet, and fast! It only took 1 1/2 days to change all the windows in my 2 story house, and each day they cleaned up after themselves. They made sure everything was perfect in fit and appearance. The owner Jess is a really cool guy... He and his crew did all of the windows and doors on my 5 bedroom house a few years ago. He gave me the product I wanted at a better price than anyone else including a lifetime warranty on labor and materials, and they successfully completed the job in less than 2 days. Twice long after completion of job I had a couple minor issues and he was out here the same day both times to correct at no charge and no bs. I set an appointment with Perfect View over two weeks ago. I asked at the time why they had no appointments sooner but they replied they were very busy and that 2 weeks was the soonest. I set the appointment for two weeks. On the appointment day 2 hours before they were to arrive I received a call stating they were not coming and they wouldn't be able to reschedule because they were so busy they weren't taking on any new projects!!!! First of all, they should have thought about that before they originally scheduled. I planned my whole day around this appointment! I took off work! Second, a responsible contractor would have at least come out and given me a quote, and let me know they were not available for some time. I already had one window company come out and tell me they were scheduling 12 weeks out. I believe this company has a lot to learn in regards to customer service and regard for other's time as well as their own. This was completely irresponsible and inconsiderate! I worry if I had hired them they might be as unprofessional during construction. read more

Jess came out and provided an estimate that was well under the competitors by far. Lori scheduled the install date and was great. She was able to move up the install date and called a week before to see if the change was acceptable... of course! Next, the crews came out on time, work quickly and were very conscious of our home. They laid runners so they didn't track through the home, covered my electronics and cabinets with plastic while installing the slider and window. I will be utilizing their services in the near future for replacing all of our windows. The last step was the crew explaining the warranties of the window and glass... unbelievable! read more

The owner came out to provide an estimate (we got 4 in all) with references in hand for us to call and see his company's work. The estimate we felt was priced fair and they completed the job in two days with new construction. I really appreciated the follow-up from Jess. He was clearly concerned about the way that my job was finished. I asked him to install another window, just above my door. He insisted in taking responsibility for his work and installed the window at his cost. I think that I was a bad luck client. I love the door, but small problems. I love the way he installed the window, but I lost a ceramic umbrella stand (knocked over by his assistant). I just wish he would have told me, as it was just an accident.
