After not finding an area rug that would fit the way we wanted it too, we made a visit to Temecula Carpet. Explained what we wanted , started looking at the carpeting available. We found a quality carpet that was perfect - and honestly a much better quality than of the available "Area rugs" on line and in person at many locations. We love the perfectly size carpet ..off a large roll of carpet- had it sized to fit the room perfectly with edges finished. I will shop at Temecula Carpet again when the existing carpeting in our 3 bedrooms needs replacing. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Got installed defective carpet. Right after it was installed stains came out from within the carpet, something like oil that keeps getting worse with friction of walking on it. Additionally carpet wasn't installed as requested, smaller pieces were used vs. complete rolls and pattern was not matched throughout the spaces. Helpful, average price, good selection of carpets to choose from. I believe my only complaint with this company and what stops me from giving it a 5 star is that I set up a day and a 3 hour time window but no one showed up during that time and no phone call to tell me the person was running late. I had to call the office and then they gave me another time frame. I don't mind waiting and I understand jobs run longer sometimes I just appreciate a call explaining that so that I can make use of the time I have rather than sitting and waiting for someone to show up. read more

We started using Temecula Carpets over 15 years ago. We have had them install carpet, flooring and tile in the past. We have used them five (5) times now for different projects and every time we have been satisfied with the customer service, home visits for measurements & estimates (thank you, Russ), product quality, prices, professional and timely installation - EVERY TIME. If we were not satisfied the first go around we would not have returned and provided them more business the following four times. After the second time we even stopped "shopping around" for other estimates. This latest time was just yesterday and the job was completed in one day as promised (thank you, Robert). For those complaining (primarily the 2012 - 2015 reviews) about the older woman in the store being rude - well, we never encountered said rudeness. Maybe some people are just thinned skin, I don't know. Anyhow, regarding her - she has retired from working the store and from what we understand she handles the books from home now. So, one not be worried about encountering alleged "rudeness" from now on. If you are looking to have any carpet, flooring or tile replaced in your home I highly recommend you check out this local business and see if they can meet your needs. If not, then go elsewhere. I personally like to find privately run / family businesses to work with, who do quality work, to patronize with my monies. So, for the Temecula area I give Temecula Carpets the 5 star rating (as good as it gets) for carpet, flooring and tile work. read more

I read several reviews online on an inferior review website and most seem to agree that customer service is not their high point. Patty seems nice enough, but I never felt overly welcomed. Oh and don't think that the old lady that works there is sweet. She literally left me standing there for like 5 minutes while she was talking about someone who died. Then proceeded to call another person to tell them that someone died. You'd think with her being so old she's used to this happening. I was stunned, but I never say anything unless someone truly pisses me off. Then finally when she realized that I wasn't going to leave she got the paperwork that I needed to sign and instead of telling me what to do she continued to talk on the phone about personal crap and just pointed to where I should sign. (By the way she knew who I was, what I was waiting for without even asking me anything and still talked on the phone and ignored me!) Like seriously? Patty came back finally and actually talked to me and i went on my merry way. The installer was pretty nice and did a pretty good job. I give them four stars for the price. I got quotes from two other places and they were the cheapest. BTW Empire is just ridiculous. I heard you can bargain with them, but I'm no haggler and they were double (yes I said double) the price of Temecula Carpet. I even glanced at Home Depot and saw that the carpet only price was almost $3/sq yd more than the installed carpet with padding price of Temecula Carpets! Don't be fooled by their $99 install price. So I appreciated the fact that temecula carpets had good no haggle prices. They also have tile and hardwood floors. read more

Every person I have encountered with them has been personable, knowledgeable and very helpful. Not sure what exactly people are expecting other than knowledgeable staff, great service, top notch quality product, amazing pricing, superior installation and fast delivery....but they check off every thing on my list! After weeks of running around town pricing carpet at big box stores and not being satisfied with either customer service or pricing, we stumbled upon Temecula Carpets. And we are so happy we did. We knew what carpet we wanted. We knew the prices around town. Temecula Carpets had the best pricing and the best customer service. They measured and installed within one week. We have had the carpet for two months now and continue to love it. The nice store owner gave us very useful and helpful tips on how to maintain the longevity of our carpet. I think the best part about Temecula Carpets is that they are a family owned business and sure of their quality and pricing. They don't fall over themselves for you but that's OK. They are honest and quality from start to finish. Their installer, Robert, is very professional and polite, I felt 100% confident leaving him alone for hours. My floor was complicated and he worked non-stop and FAST all day for 3 days until it was finished. I had a few issues which were resolved to my satisfaction. I purchased carpet and installation from this company 20 months ago. There are several areas where a ripple is evident. When I called about the problem I was told that after 12 months they were not responsible. I have never seen this problem before in any carpet I have purchased but quite surprised they were not willing to correct the problem. I will never do business with Temecula Carpets again. read more

I do carpet cleaning and repair including re-stretching so see a lot of bad loose carpet installs I'm asked to fix and carpets they install seem to never need re-stretching. I think they do a great job at installation and at a very good price so I recommend them to my customers in need of new carpet. read more

Temecula Carpet Co. installed carpets in our new house a few weeks ago. We are still waiting for someone to come back and do some repairs to our walls and cabinet that their installers caused. I've called a couple times, even stopped in last week to see when the repairs would take place...I was told a painter would be contacting me, I've received NO PHONE CALL from a painter and I doubt he would be able to repair broken piece of wood off cabinet....NOT HAPPY. read more

I have spent almost $10,000 with this business over the past 2 years. But with this most recent job done (Tuesday Aug. 6, 2013) it's the last time I give them my business and money. Pamela is a very rude person. She has no concept of what customer service is. She acts like I'm imposing when I walk in the shop. Her emails are even rude! I have ordered carpet for over 10 homes and she still treats me as if I was a smell under her shoes. I have two rental properties in Corona that Temecula Carpets installed flooring in. Laminate and carpet in one, and laminate, carpet and tile in the other. Both came out great! Robert did a fantastic job installing all materials, including a difficult staircase of laminate. You would never know how crooked the walls are after his expert install. Russ Brill, the owner came out for measurements of all flooring. He was prompt and thorough and the prices, fantastic! Hardly any waste. I've had many flooring jobs done using other companies and it seems like there is always way too much extra material leftover-material that I paid for! I am very happy I gave this company a chance and I recommend them to anyone who wants expert installation, fair prices and fantastic results! read more

This company was recommended to me by my carpet cleaner and I was very disappointed. The business refused to resolve an issue with a transition between my tile and carpet. They wanted to charge and extra $50 to install shims to fix the problem. I foolishly agreed and when the repair was made, the transition was so high I couldn't close the bathroom door. When I called for a further resolution, the owner told me that they could come out and put it back the way it was - the contract excludes door height issues. Funny because the pile on my new carpet is shorter than the carpet that was replaced and the door closed just fine with that. And yes, I agree with the other posts that mention rudeness. read more

We needed to replace the 14 year-old carpeting in our two bedrooms. Visited the showroom where there were plenty of choices. We were told the color for the one we selected would be produced in Georgia on a specific date and that it would take 9 days to get here after that. That is exactly what happened. We received a call telling us it was now in stock and set up an installation date just two days out... on a Saturday much to my surprise. I was a bit surprised when told that it would be just one installer, but was told he was clearly the consummate professional and had been doing this work for over twenty years. He was exactly that. He moved all of our heavy furniture himself and put it all back again. He even noticed that our old vacuum cleaner had no height adjustment for the deeper pile we chose and informed us it would either burn up the vacuum or ruin the carpet! Not that I wanted to buy a new vacuum, but he certainly saved us from a potential disaster! All of this at a competitive price. We would definitely use this company again. P.S. We only dealt with gentlemen, so no rudeness to report here. read more
