So I decided to remodel my kitchen and wasn't too sure about remodeling my powder room. After calling tons of contractors and getting estimates NONE of them seemed to be able to convince me or give me good enough ideas on how I should do it. So, I ended up postponing my idea and waited on finding the perfect contractor, which ended up being Tell Projects. Fast forward 6 months later I thought about it again, but this time I had the intentions of going through with it, and really finding someone to do it. I asked many friends of mine that have gotten remodeling done and one of them stood out, she said she got her master bathroom remodeled and how fast and professional they were. She spoke nothing but amazing words about the crew and how fast, clean, and professional they were. Not to mention how she spoke about Mr. Zach, she had nothing but respect for him. I ended up giving them a call, they are the kind of business that has in house crews and they were fast with everything, we made an appointment set for the next day. I was TOO EXCITED words cannot explain. It's the next day and Mr. Zach came right on time, at noon which was set to my convenience. He gave me ideas on my kitchen and I gave him the ideas I had, of course he gave me better ones, simple yet ones that made a BIGGER difference, I feel simple is oftentimes better. Still iffy on asking about my powder room I went ahead and asked and even though I wasn't too sure he made me feel super comfortable and he listened to ALL of my ideas, one thing I will say is some contractors will make you feel a certain way if you don't know what you want and they WILL just throw a bunch of ideas together to get the job started, but he was more than happy to help me decide what I wanted. ***That was a BIG DEAL because some contractors or companies do not care they're just there for the money and that said millions about his company and what he stands for. **** I for a fact know women can be super indecisive, so that really helped me out and we ended up going with both projects. He said that he predicted the estimated time it would take to be 2 weeks AT MOST but they ended up finishing in 7 days, just in time for the holidays!!! That's exactly what I wanted, finding a company that could finish just in time and they did!! From the day the crew came for demolition, they made sure they were careful enough to protect my house from needing any extra repairs. That was just the first day and that was already enough for me to not have to be watching them every step of the way. Everything came out perfect, the kitchen came out AMAZING the powder room came out perfect! Everything was fast and easy and they didn't overcharge for anything the total was set, there wasn't an unexpected add on fee, which I know can bother people sometimes especially after you've already signed papers and everything. New to Texas. Need to remodel a kitchen in a house we just purchased. Had to start from scratch with contractors. This was our situation when we moved to Texas last year and needed to remodel our kitchen. Our scope of work included a complete kitchen "gut", removal of a divider wall & a brick accent wall, installation of new cabinets, new appliances, match existing of existing hardwood floors, install new crown molding and painting. We tried to interview several contractors and walk through the work with them. We called 6 and only 3 called back. Each of those 3 contractors showed up, but Zach with Tell was by far the most professional, knowledgeable and well prepared. We walked through what we wanted, and Zach was attentive to what we wanted and helpful in adding suggestions that would save money but still add value to our project. After the walkthrough we went for a "tour" of their mobile showroom so that we could see first-hand the quality of their work. Very impressive. We could go into great detail about the crew at Tell and all of the work they did on our home, but I will simply say that ALL of the team that work on our home was professional and considerate with our family (we lived in the house during the remodel). Three things standout that highlight our experience with Tell. On the first day the team from Tell showed up on time and ready to work! After we walked through the job together the team did one of the greatest things I had ever seen. They took a copy of our agreement that outlined the work to be completed and taped it to the wall, so everyone was on the same page. Awesome! Clean! The team from Tell is CLEAN! Everyday before they left our house, they cleaned up their work area. They never missed a day of cleaning. It was impressive. Again, we lived in the house during the remodel and the Tell team was very considerate of us and made sure to leave their work areas clean to minimize the disruption to out house. One of our daughters' bathroom had a tile issue that caused water to go into the wall. We were worried about water damage and mold. We contacted a few different contractors, but Zach from Tell was the most responsive. He came to take a look at the job very quickly after I contacted him. As we discussed the job, it became clear that Zach was very customer-focused and communicated very well what he planned to do. While he was there, we also took a look at all the bathrooms and kitchens to identify any other tiles issues they could address. Zach also showed me their mobile showroom, which also highlighted what other work they do. The other contractors we considered fell short either in speed of bidding the job or their bid was less comprehensive. So we chose to go with Tell and they could start the next week. They let me know they would start Wednesday. I was responsible for choosing and purchasing the tile, and they would pick it up from Floor and Decor. That worked out somewhat well, except the store didn't have the order ready quickly enough, so I'd suggest you order with plenty of time for the store to collect it or have it moved to a more convenient store. After demolishing the existing tile, the good news is that there was little water damage and no real replacement was necessary on the wood framing. Given that, the crew got to work quickly on putting the tub back in and tiling the floor and surround with the new tile. We had solid large tile picked along with an accent tile stripe. Zach and Benjamin (crew boss) did a good job of working together to get the design we had in mind correctly. When I got home, I was very impressed with their tile job and pretty happy. There were a few cosmetic issues that we asked to get fixed, and they did a good job of addressing them quickly to our satisfaction. First let me just say that we are absolutely thrilled with our major re-imagining of our kitchen, new conservatory room and of course our master bathroom. Tell projects is a family owned business. We selected them from others we interviewed because they have an excellent reputation and provide personal service and attention to detail from the design phase to demolition, construction and finishing. Ours was a major renovation involving changing the entire load bearing structure of our house, creating new indoor space from what was previously an outdoor patio and then a complete renovation of our entire kitchen and master bathroom. All of the work was custom made and executed by Tell's own craftsmen. The attention to detail was quite impressive, right down to the project manager personally walking our property regularly with us to plan and make adjustments to the project as necessary. With such a major renovation, invariably, changes will be made and delays will occur due to weather, materials on backorder etc, but throughout the entire process, the design team, the project manager and the staff at Tell were always working to meet and exceed our needs. We even had regular discussions with the owner who often reached out to us to gauge our level of satisfaction. There is no such thing as a perfect world, and there were times when we had some concerns about some minor issues relating to prep work ahead of our appliance install date, but the folks at Tell were relentless and they got it right and the end result was spectacular. My wife and I decided to remodel both bathrooms in our house. They needed a fresh look and a complete update. Having seen the quality of work done by Tell Projects, I knew that I wanted them to do the work. I had Zach come by my house with his truck (the mobile showroom) and show my wife the many samples of flooring, tile, cabinets, and hardware. She was so impressed with Zach and the quality of his products that she agreed with me that Tell Projects was the company we wanted to do the work for us. Tell Projects gave us a 10-14 day estimate to finish the work. The workers were courteous and respectful of both our home and the three cats we have in the house. Like any remodeling project there were a couple of things that we added to the project. Both times Zach came by to inspect the issue and let us know how much the additional work would cost. They finished both rooms in 16 days due to the additional work we requested. The whole process was a very positive experience. None of the nightmare stories that you hear about remodeling. Originally Tell-projects came into re-do my kitchen backsplash. They saw that my kitchen was falling apart being it is a kitchen from 1988. I saw pictures of past projects they have done and Zack couldn't be nicer! He told me "Rebecca, I have over 15 years of experience, our pictures speak for themselves, you can trust me." And although I was hesitant, I did. Tell projects refaced all of my kitchen cabinet and rebuilt my entire pantry with new shelving they cut and made on site. They made the pantry door made look brand new. They sanded and painted and stained and installed and repaired and tried to save me as much money as they could along the way. I have to stay that I was very skeptical but they did an excellent job! The workers treated my house like it was there own home and were so respectful of me and my kids. They always made sure to come after my kids left for school as to not bother breakfast time. They got me an incredible price for gorgeous white granite and installed all new door handles The backsplash is gorgeous white subway tile with a mosaic above my stove top. My kitchen looks brand new and it was just a simple update that took 4 days. Best part was the price, it was excellent for the amount of work that they did!!! We used Tell Projects for a Homestyle Renovation Loan. This type of project requires a lot of up front work from your contractor to provide very detailed estimates and pricing. Ellie and Zach provided that for us, and came in at the pricepoint we were looking for after getting estimates from eight other contractors. We closed On May 23, 2019, after 2 months of paperwork to get to that point. Then the remodel started and evolved into a full gut of the home we bought. It is a long road to get this type of project done with any contractor, and there will be highs and lows. The best thing about Tell Projects was the constant communication. There wasn't a period of time where they disappeared leaving us to wonder where we stood on the project. A group text message thread between us and Tell kept the communication flowing. In addition to regular progress and planning meetings at the house. Adjustments were made whenever issues arose from the house - which there always will be when you start taking down walls and taking your home down to its bones. The project was completed and we moved in on March 23, 2020, to our dream home and neighborhood. Back in November 2024, my husband and I discussed remodeling the kitchen to something brighter and more spacious. The brown cabinets made the kitchen look dark and dreary. After meeting with several contractors, we hired Tell Projects. We met with Adrianna who listened to our vision for the remodel, listened to our concerns and provided us with their credentials. She set out to design what the kitchen could look like. Once we received the estimate and signed the contract we set a start date. We were given a 3-4-week time frame, allowing for anything unexpected (like snowstorm Enzo on January 21 and 22). Project started January 2, 2025, with the demo, and was completed on January 27, 2025, with touch up painting and walk through. We could not be happier with the results. Tell-Projects was wonderful. I worked closely with Zach, with office supervision and communication from Ellie. They helped us remodel our entire second floor living in just under 3 weeks, start to finish! That included demolishing the kitchen and two walls, installing new floors, counters, countertops (quartz), and installing our handpicked appliances. They were very efficient, speedy, and thorough. Throughout the experience, Zach was very communicative, open, and honest. We partnered closely to create a floor plan and the various design choices that go into it. My fiance and I both travel for work each week but we had full trust of Zach and his team to be in the house working. He would send us pictures of the progress each day and was very accessible if we had any questions by phone. We'd highly, highly recommend Tell-Projects for future remodeling projects, no matter how big or small. Price was very reasonable considering the value, and they put no pressure on you to do more than you absolutely need. Overall it was a very bad renovation experience with this company, all I can say is stay away. Few things to note off the top, the reviews you see for 5 stars are fake. Look at the generic wording and the dates all these reviews came in. No business can get this many reviews in this short period of time. The company paid someone to write the reviews, that being said, make sure your contract is very very detailed. We went in with a very detailed plan and assumed the contract was written this way to our plan. The company will write a very generic contract without details so they can charge you for extras afterwards. The project manager, Zach, is also the owner of the company, so his only concern is cutting costs. He makes up numbers to his liking and because it is the generic contract, his go to answer is "it is not in the contract". All this was found out afterwards once we ran into so many issues with this contractor. Highly recommend staying away from this company, just very dishonest. Also after this review they will reply back, if you look at Zach's replies you will notice he will never admit mistakes and blame the client, look at all reviews he responded back to. This speaks to his nature, you have been warned. read more

AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!!! Tell Projects is great! I hired them to put a roof over my patio and the team took every effort to help me to save as much money as possible without taking any kinds of shortcuts. They also finished a full day ahead of schedule which was a huge plus! You can really tell that they have lots of experience in general construction and can probably handle just about anything. Should also note that their communication, work ethic, and punctuality are PERFECT! They are efficient, neat, and focused. For everyday that they were here the team showed up on time, every time. They have all their own tools in a their truck so they were definitely prepared. Every day they came they cleaned up after themselves, so it was as if they were not even here. They are a skilled team with high integrity and really worked hard for compliments and more business. I was very very impressed with the work they did and am a BIG fan now. We had Tell Projects do numerous remodeling jobs at our home. They included new granite in the kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and the laundry room. They removed 2 bath tubs and made the space into beautiful new tiled showers with frameless glass. They also installed 4 new sinks and faucets, a new gas cooktop, exhaust fan, dishwasher, laundry room vanity, and crown molding in 3 rooms. All the work was completed in 7 days with outstanding results. Tell Projects has different professionals that do each job. The granite fabricator, tile installers, plumber, electrician, carpenters, glass men, and painters are all different individuals. The granite man, Alber, and the tile installers are artists in the work they do. From the quoting process with Zach to the constant follow up with Ellie who is the greatest in the main office, all of your concerns or questions are handled. If there is something you are not happy with they come back and take care of it. The price was good and the work and clean up was outstanding. They are thorough and responsive. They have insightful advice and they did a great job of really listening to what we wanted. They were able to provide an honest bids, and were able to do the complete renovation/remodel on all aspects of the house. He always spend enough time to go over the project and listen to your needs. Workers are all professionals. You don't really need to stay on top of them. Working with Tell Projects means working with a punctual team who know what steps needs to be taken. They always covered everything they promised. They aren't cheap, but they are not one of those contractors who give you a price and then find a way to make more money. I have experience with other contractors and can tell the difference they make. The tile guy (Oscar) is an expert. This was my second time using Tell-Projects. My house was in need of major remodeling. We needed a new kitchen, new floors, new stairs and 2 bathrooms renovated. My wife and I had a leak in the shower pan which had leaked into the closet as well as the adjoining cabinets. The damage and expense was a a shock so we spoke with several contractors, our insurance company (which was not covered) and looked at estimates. By accident the last estimate was from Zach at Tell Projects. I liked them from start to the finish, Zach made my wife and I feel very comfortable, communicated regularly and was very patient. He would explain everything in detail and with respect. As the job progressed there were a couple of unexpected repairs and Zach took care of them immediately and without complaint. I needed some handyman work around the house. My own efforts had not been successful because I didn't have the right tools and materials. We had a mailbox that would not stay put attached to our white brick. I believe that Tell did a much better job than I ever did. It should stay up for a long time. We also had a "person door" entry to our detached garage. When the automatic door opener failed I went to the person door and with a wing and a prayer I barely got the door opened. It is now well lubricated with a better material than the WD-40 I had been using. He also fixed our back door to the house which was extremely sticky in wet weather. Three big nuisances taken care of very efficiently. I would definitely call them first for my next project. By the way, the price was VERY reasonable! read more
