However, I felt a bit taken advantage of regarding being charged $125 for "inspection" when I only called for an estimate. I knew my lighting worked. I met with him on a Friday very promptly, however an estimate took 4 days to come to my email and it was $1600 for about 4 ring cameras and also the light switches that needed to be replaced in the house was NOT included in the estimate. I am a woman, not an idiot. I would never pay that much especially when I've done my homework and got way lower pricing. I purchased a new gas range, not knowing it is a "hybrid" range that requires 220V outlet until the delivery has been made. I called Keith and let him know my problem. He was able to show up on short notice and gave us a free estimate. We ended up returning the hybrid range and purchased a regular gas range instead, and didn't need Keith's service. A couple days ago my kitchen circuits blew a fuse and none of the electrical outlets were working. When I tried contacting an electrician I made four phone calls and each company I contacted was unavailable except for the last, T. E. K Electric C/O. The owner, Keith Wise, was readily available. He pre-screened the task over the phone and gave me a quote. He said he will be at my house in 45 minutes. When he got here he was on time. He immediately assessed the situation and solved my circuit breaker problem by moving one circuit breaker that was unused, into the spot that operated my kitchen. And he re-set my GFI. He was done in about 20 minutes. Hence, the job entailed a lot less work than was originally expected, and the originally quoted cost was reasonably reduced, as well. Gotta give my guy Keith a good review. My family needed a 220V installed to charge our electric cars and Keith was the first electrician I called. After calling two other electricians in the area I went with Keith because of these key things. 1. Responsive and easy to book a consultation. Easy to get Keith on a call, give him the details and get everything worked out right away on what I needed. Other companies needed a whole form to fill out and it was just not convenient unlike Keith. 2. Flexibility in communication. It was hard to do an in-person consultation (we're so busy) so he offered pics or FaceTime to view the area of install. Easy to book a time to do install. Texting/calling him was a breeze - felt like we didn't even have to be there for the install. 3. Price is great. Even though I didn't get quotes from other companies he quoted us only $550 for our install! Can't beat that when you need convenience. Gave Keith 4/5 because of those key things.
