We came here with a group of forty-one people, and the tour guide was funny and brilliant. We toured the whole facility and saw the three giant tils that have whisky in them (all three are named after woman's names) while learning lots about the distilling process and where the term angel's share comes from ~ hint, the angel share is the amount of whisky that dissipates during the whisky making process : ) Now a lot of people do not like to drink whisky straight, so I wanted to mention they give you the delicious option of having a mixed drink with whisky in it at the end if you do not want to partake in sipping straight whisky. I would recommend you complete a tour of this facility as the tour guide really goes over a lot of the history of the Irish. Also, pro tip, you can only buy Poitin in Ireland, think of it as Irish Whisky that tastes like Mezcal, I bought four bottles of it at the Dublin Duty Free Airport as it is impossible to get outside of Ireland. As always people SYOY!!!

It's exciting to see a new player in the Irish Whisky scene. We were able to get same-day tickets to tour their facility and go for a tasting of a spirit and a mixed drink. The facility is pretty modern and clean, the tour guide was very helpful and engaging, and the tour itself wasn't that long, so perfect for a quick afternoon activity. They have a gif shop at the end of the tour with reasonably priced souvenirs. All in all, good experience!

Yum! Great whiskey with an excellent tasting room and tour experience. Our server was excellent, she knew the product and coached us perfectly.

Amazing experience to visit the first proper distillery built in Dublin in over a hundred years! The service was fantastic and the cocktails we enjoyed were absolutely amazing!

We came on a walking tour and did the distillery tasting. One thing that was so disappointing was the person doing the distillery tour was not Irish. You hear some history, then see some vats and learn about the processing. Finally you do a tasting. He explained how to taste it and he was very correct. The cocktail they served was also good. We wrote our name on the wall for posterity.

Teeling Distillery is a fantastic stop for anyone interested in Irish whiskey. The design alone is worth the visit--they've done an incredible job blending old and new with a beautiful rustic modern aesthetic that feels vibrant and welcoming. It's a genuinely stunning facility. The highlight is certainly the experience itself. The staff are knowledgeable and clearly passionate, guiding you through the history and process with enthusiasm. The tour culminates in the great upstairs tasting room, which offers a comfortable and stylish setting to enjoy the final product. We opted for the nice whiskey flight, which provided a variety of whiskies to sample. It was a perfect way to appreciate the different flavor profiles Teeling offers. Everything felt professional and well-executed. It's an excellent experience overall, though it can get quite busy, especially during peak times, which keeps it from being a full 5-star experience. But for a top-tier distillery tour in Dublin, Teeling is a solid, highly recommended four stars!

Great tour at Teeling! It's a little short, but overall the distillery is much smaller than the larger competitors such as Jameson. I think it's worth it if you want something different! Our tour included 1 tasting sample and a cocktail. At the end of the tour, you can go sit in the bar and have a tasting and/cocktail which was super fun! I recommend booking a tour if you are into whiskey or just looking for something new to experience!

Let me start by saying, I am not a whiskey drinker but I am a fan of a family business so while traveling through Ireland I visited Teeling Distillery for a tour. The tour guide was informative, passionate and entertaining. The building was meticulously cared for. I learned a lot about the history of whiskey. The whiskey tasking was not my favorite part of the tour but it was still a fantastic experience none the less! I loved the bar and gift shop area. Such a cool area to sit and enjoy a drink and spend time with friends. Also, they have a cool cafe and coffee shop downstairs. The food was delicious! I would definitely encourage others to visit!

Outstanding tour and overall whiskey experience. If you love whiskey or just want to learn about the process this is the only working distillery in Dublin. You can see the kettles and the entire process. Jack was our guide and did a phenomenal job. I had never heard of Teeling until we were leaving in 10/23 and they were doing a tasting at the airport. Really happy we got to come back and visit their distillery as they do a phenomenal job. They allow a lot of time to take all the photos you want to make it as memorable as possible. Highly recommend this tour.

Great tour! Definitely a lot smaller than Jameson, but way better quality of Irish whiskey. If you want more of a unique experience when checking out distilleries, check out Teeling! We weren't disappointed.

We were in Ireland for seven days and it only rained twice. Our Teeling Whiskey Distillery visit day was one of those days, but it didn't dampen our spirits. Pun intended. We had mapped out a path that allowed us to visit multiple sites and Teeling was one. It's in an area that feels more residential and for a little while we wondered if we were lost, but we turned a corner and saw the beautiful building. My husband is a huge whiskey fan and knows a lot. I'm not but I'm willing to go along for the ride and if something strikes my fancy, I'll give it a try. The building has some beautiful artwork, which we were told was local artists, so we took the time to enjoy it. They also had some nice stained glass to appreciate. It's a two story building with a cafe and tasting room on the ground floor. The upstairs had a large bar and a shop. We elected to go upstairs and sat in a comfy seating area with some chairs and a sofa with a coffee table. We ordered some drinks. My husband got a version of an old fashioned and I got a cucumber lime concoction made with a small batch whiskey. Both were really good. We took our time and enjoyed the cozy (and dry) environment but had a reservation so had to leave. This was a fun experience even for a non-whiskey drinker.

Cass A.

We scheduled a tour same day and opted for the tasting of single malt and a mixed drink. I loved the intimacy of the tour and the ability to actually be in the space where the whiskey was being produced. Our guide was wonderful - knowledgeable and more than happy to answer questions. Since this was a last minute schedule - we weren't expecting much, but we ended up loving our time there!

Teeling Distillery was an interesting find. While exploring the city while on the Hop On Hop off Bus we happened upon the building. We decided to come in a do a tour. The initial interaction started off on the wrong foot. The young lady wasn't listening and charged me for the wrong tasting. She didn't void the transaction and charged me again , this time for the correct tasting. I had to dispute the initial charge with my credit card company. ‍ Other than this the tour was informative and the tasting was good. I had the one whisky and seasonal cocktail. The seasonal cocktail did not disappoint. It was quite tasty. I would definitely recommend a visit to Teeling but not during St. Patty's Day festival. The lady seemed a bit overwhelmed by the amount of people.

They were able to accommodate us mid-week without a reservation, but Friday night we made one to come back. There were gobs of people waiting to get in so we're glad we did! The entrance is very non-descript. It's an ugly grey metal door with VCC randomly applied, so if you didn't know what was there it would look industrial. There is a door bell to the left of the door. Ring it a few times and someone will open the door and check you in. With reservations they do make you wait until exactly that time so don't be alarmed. Your table is already selected for you. The inside is loungy and very swanky. Both times we had extremely comfortable chairs. Service is immaculate. Their menu is massive, very well published and explained. Our servers were both able to explain exactly what the cocktail may taste like as some of the combos might blow your mind. I had the Dirty Wizard which sounds odd on based on ingredients but was delicious. I also had the Purple Pearl which was my perfect cocktail. My husband tried a few different whiskey concoctions and he was impressed by all of them. I highly recommend adding VCC to your Dublin itinerary!

It feels a bit weird writing a public review of a secret spot...but I can't gatekeep this spot!…read more The Blind Pig Speakeasy was one of our favorite spots while in Ireland, and it ranks high on our list for several reasons! They are situated in the base of a sister restaurant, so from the main entrance the only give away is the neon "shhh" sign that sits over the stairway. Once at the base of the stairs an unassuming bookcase/shelf appears. This honestly got us, as we had no clue this was the entrance at first. We wandered around and into the bathrooms expecting some cool bathroom stall entrance. It wasn't until someone came out from behind the bookcase that we figured it out! We did let the "door" close and played with the art on the wall, including the bronze pig head, which turned out to be the hidden lever! Legit already wowed before entering! Upon entry, you are legit transported into a small speakeasy with a few high tops, a cozy bar and a small dining room beyond the second archway. The walls are stone, the lighting is dim and moody, the woods are heavy, and the vibes are immaculate! We sampled a few house-made cocktails, got an appetizer and a few main dishes. Spent a total of close to 2 hours, which is standard and actually timed. Which makes sense and I like, it keeps things moving, on time and allows plenty of time to soak it all in! The Jolly Roger and Espresso Martini were my cocktails for the night. There was a clear theme with both, as stout and espresso were highlights in both. For the app, we went with the fritto misto, which is a combination of fried cheese and veggies. Our mains were both pasta dishes. They were light and simple, yet complex and robust. They were tasty and impressive! Service was stellar from entry to exit. The host's, bartenders and our server were all top notch, friendly, helpful and a joy to interact with! Oh, I do highly recommend reservations! They are a small and very in demand spot, so trying to walk-in is a bit risky. Overall, we absolutely loved our evening at The Blind Pig! It was one of our best times and meals on our trip around Ireland...memorable for all the right reasons!

We walk around the corner and see a crowd of people out front. Ask the doorman if we can pop in for a drink. After a quick look over we get the A-OK to enter. This is going to be controversial, but I swear, this is what I saw for real. Not kidding, not exaggerating. For real. We are sitting to the side of the main bar. A bartender is pouring bottled water into a bottle of Jameson. Another employee came over and is talking to her while she is doing this. She 'squishes' the empty bottle, making that crushed plastic sound, before throwing it into the trash. Then she puts the pour spout back on top of the Jameson bottle and walks back into the main bar area. O.M.G. Really? Why me?! It is at this point I think to look at the Yelp reviews. Whoa. First thing I see is to the effect of 'my white friends got in, but not me'. Second thing I see is 'Asians not allowed'. Holy mackerel! My SO and I take a serious look around and O.M.G., no kidding, not one non-WASP in the joint! I feel dirty and disgusted. I have no idea that anyone in here has a clue of this fact, but now that it has been pointed out, it is so very clear. We left just as fast as we could. I will never return.

Somehow low-lit, archaic, well-lit, & modern, all at the same time. Lively but not noisy pop music was playing - Dua Lipa, etc. The actual physical menu was so cool. It was a beautifully designed picture-book inspired menu, with each cocktail having its own separate & artful page. I'm looking back on the menu & I think the drink I ordered was "Fight Club" (Don Julio Blanco, mango, Falernum, camomile, lemon, & sugar) & it was phenomenal. The bartender scorched a hot pepper & carefully placed it on top, which MADE the drink. He also made my partner a Paper Plane with Scotch. Delicious. Speaking of the bartender, he was a real champion. Such a nice guy with a bit of flair to his style of bartending. We really enjoyed chit chatting with him. There is a fireplace and vintage furniture, makes for a great atmosphere when you want a quiet drink, though it can get pretty loud because it's often full.
