The space hits different--bar anchoring the room, old distillery bones visible, the kind of atmosphere that makes you understand why you came. The standard tour delivers. Outstanding tastings that actually matter. The Black Barrel is the real deal--rich, approachable, worth bringing home. My wife found the Select, which you can only get here, and that matters. Our guide was sharp and funny, moved us through with purpose and personality. We added the special cask tasting. The barrel room is worth seeing, but the experience felt rushed. Different guide, less energy, in and out in ten minutes. Didn't justify the price. That's worth noting. We stayed at the bar anyway. Shared a charcuterie board that was genuinely well done. Picked up a few bottles. Left satisfied. Not flawless, but the core experience lands. The gift shop is stocked if you're looking to bring something back. We really enjoyed the variety of whiskey to try out and the opportunity to mix out own little cocktail considering our group included people not to fond of neat whisky. Our only wish would have been to have slightly more time to process all information provided or translate for the people not as fluent in English. An audio guide would have been a neat option too but ultimately have taken away from the experience and we agree that an additional 15 minutes would have sufficed for a perfect experience. All in all we'd give the tour 4,9 of 5 stars.

Tucked away behind the Tapped beer bar, The Dingle is a haven for anyone who might want a quiet, welcoming spot to chill out with a whiskey taster or cocktail (or two...or several) after the work day ends. The interior has a warm, comfortable feel to it, and the staff are welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about their inventory, so don't be shy asking them for recommendations. Thanks to a combination of covid and Google (wrongly) listing them as permanently closed, business has gone way down from where it used to be a couple years ago, but I can't emphasize enough that The Dingle is still very much alive, and I'd HIGHLY recommend dropping by during opening hours (which I think are just Thurs/Fri/Sat afternoons right now).
