While in Dublin, the Jameson distillery tour is a must. It was exactly what you would expect from great marketing! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, loved learning more about the distilling process, and had a drink. What more could you would ask!?

Alex was an incredible host for the cocktail class. We had an absolute blast! Learned 3 cocktails that seem very doable to do on my own and learned a few general tips. She was hilarious. Highly recommend doing the class.

One can't go to Dublin and not stop at Jameson. This was a wonderful experience. Booked a regular tasting and a cask draw. Let me start with this... you get a drink while you wait for your tour/tasting to start! From now on, I want all my tours to start this way! Ha. Our guide was very knowledgeable and engaging, and walked us through the Irish Whisky making process while ultimately leading us to the tasting room. We then moved onto the cask draw, where we had a private experience talking about the barrel aging process in a very cool (literally cool) aging room and had the chance to taste a sample of whisky straight from the barrel. As if that tour wasn't enough, we then grabbed a drink at their bar before wrapping up and heading out for a much needed late lunch. Please please please don't drink and drive. The initial tasting alone is enough to put you over the limit.

First time at this distllery and it was an amazjng experience. We did the secret tasting which was really awesome. Our moderator Leah was fantastic. I learned so much about the history of irish whiskey and jameson. The staff throughout were great. Its a place where yoh can come solo or in groups and have a great experience.

Visited the Jameson Distillery! It was really nice! They have a restaurant that you can get some good food at across the way before your tour (that isn't affiliated). Once you enter, you will find a lobby and a cool bar! They have signature cocktails and you can of course get the whiskey poured straight up. Gift shop is also located in the central area, lots of fun items and bottles! I got a T-shirt and a Red Breast 21 ;) We did the Secret Whiskey tasting, not a full tour. I decided to do this because the normal tour did only included a tasting of some normal Jamesons. I mainly wanted to try some unique whiskeys! The tasting was pretty quick, about 45 min. But you did get to go into the "private office" and try 4 different Jameson branded premium whiskeys. You had an employee guide you through the tasting which was super cool. It was pretty private, since there were only about 8 people in the tour! If you are mainly concerned about the whiskey, I would recommend to do the Secret Tasting! We also hit the bar after the tour to hangout and try some of the signature cocktails!

The *secret* whisky tour was amazing. James... my only suggestion is that you need to bring your energy and enthusiasm up a notch, sheesh! The great thing about the secret tasting is that it is intimate and away from the plebs in the general public. Heathens! The amount of time dedicated to a flight of whiskys is just about right. James went through everything with perfect pace and detail, really great. You get to taste exclusive whiskys, available only at this location. Afterwards, I stuck around with my new alcoholic friends and sipped on drinks in the main bar area until it was time for the (add-on) cask pull. This had quite a number of guests, but Niell handled it like a boss. For the love of god, no flash photography!!! To be honest, I haven't traditionally been the biggest fan of Jameson, but this visit was entertaining from start to finish, and I realize now the rest of their product line is nothing to scoff at. Would recommend an elevated experience to get the most from this distillery.

When in Dublin you need to do Jameson! It's my go to drink with ginger ale and to drink exclusive versions during the tour was so much fun and got a nice buzz going Our tour guide Colin was great informative and fun and funny The staff in general very nice and helpful The place is bigger than you think as you walk room to room and explore during the tour Everything is organized well and it's a fun time Love Jameson!

When in Dublin... This is a must! We didn't have a lot of time, but knew we had to do some tastings. It's a beautiful place and though we didn't get to take a tour, we did find a spot for tasting and really enjoyed the all around atmosphere. Highly recommend if you're into Irish Whiskey or not!!!!

I booked tickets online for the Bow Street Experience and Cask Draw (€41 - if you don't want to do the cask draw, the regular experience is €26) for a Saturday at 11:30. We did get there 10 minutes late but the first 10-15 minutes of the tour is getting your included drink at the bar. You can choose from Jameson on the rocks or a Jameson and ginger. From there, they take you into different rooms, where you get to smell the ingredients that go into distilling Jameson, and tell you about the history and the process. You'll also get to try a few different Jamesons. From first drink to finish, the whole thing lasts probably about an hour. When booking the cask draw, the website tells you to make sure you book for an hour after the Bow Street Experience so that you have enough time to finish the tour. We booked the 12:30 and it starts on time, and lasts for about half an hour. They take you into the barrel room, where they explain the whiskey, and then you get to taste cask strength single pot still whiskey, drawn straight from the cask. I don't remember what ABV they said it was but it's very high and not something that should be taken as a shot. In fact, it's so high that children are not allowed in the barrel room because of the fumes from the alcohol. Neither my husband nor I knew this at the time of booking, and we had our 8-month-old with. We just thought they bring you into a regular room, and let you taste the cask-strength whiskey, but you actually get to see them draw it, which was cool. Initially, we were just going to take turns doing the cask draw but my husband didn't end up doing it and they were able to refund us. So just something to keep in mind - if you're just looking to taste the whiskey or if you have kids with you, you might be better off going to the bar (though I'm not too sure if this exact one is served there). The experience is definitely for tourists but I would say it's one of those must-see tourist spots if you find yourself in Dublin.

We had a standard tour plus a cask draw during our visit, both of which were delightful. We were offered a mixed drink to start the tour, went through a series of interactive sessions, then enjoyed a tasting. From there, we were brought to a side room where they stored the casks then sampled whiskey directly from a cask after learning more about the process and the differences based on age time. We enjoyed both aspects and, even as a non-whiskey drinker, I enjoyed our time there! Plus, there are beautiful bars at the entrance with plenty of drink options for those who just want a spot to sit and enjoy.

All the drinks here are so amazing! They have perfected to ratios and flavors to complement and create the Jameson mix drinks. I got the Jameson cold brew, cola and orange and I was blown away! I never would have put that combo of flavors together but it all mingled so well! My friends also got drinks and I didn't catch the names of what they ordered but it was all so good. It really felt like you couldn't go wrong with any of the menu options! The inside had plenty of seating and the aesthetic was pretty. A lot of the decor was just displayed bottles of alcohol. Cool place, definitely worth a visit!

Worth a stop while in Dublin. I didn't know anything about Jameson (or whiskey, really) before the tour and have a new appreciation for it and its rich heritage. Niall is a fantastic guide, if you can get him!

I'm always on the look out for a good Portuguese wine (and Port wine) section and this place clearly has a few carefully selected gems, was very happy with what I found there. We've been very happy with the Douro wines we've picked up here, as well as some excellent LBV and Tawny Ports, from the better but more obscure vineyards, which is always refreshing. The staff are very friendly and so helpful, they really know their stuff and the best part about it is there's nothing pretentious about this place at all! It's official - I have found the source of all my future wine-related purchases. The Corkscrew is…read morethe BEST wine stockist I have ventured into thus far in my Dublin meanderings. Why, you ask? Well, firstly because they have the most incredible range of wine from all over the world. They even stock my favourite label from Western Australia, Vasse Felix, which I've not found ANYWHERE else in Ireland. Secondly, their staff are wonderful. They are not the haughty, pretentious types you might expect to find in such an establishment. Oh no, they take the time to talk to every customer who enters the store, ask about their wine preferences, suggest future purchases for the expansion of the customer's palate, and discuss wines previously purchased and liked/disliked. Chris, a lovely guy from the UK, spoke to me while I was in store, and while I'm by no means a wine connoisseur, or a bulk-buyer, he still took the time out to find out about the kind of vino I like to drink. From there he formed a kind of 'career trajectory' for my wine tastes, based on what I drink now and what I should be trying. I found him incredibly helpful and not at all dismissive of my 'bargain bin' level of wine knowledge. While I was in the store I heard the other sales assistant speaking to a woman who'd had a less than amicable experience with her last purchase. They discussed the reasons for her not enjoying that particular bottle (these things happen, everyone has different tastes), and he made suggestions on wines that might provide her with an experience more to her liking. The fact that she came back to the store and trusted these guys to advise her on her next purchase really says something about the level of service provided here. So you see, at The Corkscrew, wine, as life, is about the journey, not the destination, it's about branching out and trying something new and it's not about sticking to the tried and true (although, in fairness to these guys, they have tried nearly every bottle in store). If you want a wine merchant who will know you by name, and who in less than 10 minutes will be able to diagnose your particular drinking condition and provide you with the remedy, make The Corkscrew your off-licence of choice.

He taught us so much about the history of whiskey, where it originated, and how it's made today. We chose the classic tasting, which included three different whiskeys to sample. One of the most interesting things we learned was how adding just a drop of water can completely change the chemistry and flavor profile of whiskey. The tastings were all very distinct: **Skellig** (my personal favorite) - sweet, rich, and warm with a woodsy aroma and smooth flavor. **Fercullen Falls** (my husband's favorite) - smoky and peppery with a slightly sweet scent, followed by a spicy, woodsy flavor and a light vanilla finish. **Ardara** (not my favorite) - heavily peated and smoky. To me, it smelled like burnt rubber and old tires, with a bitter flavor and strong burnt aftertaste that lingered. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and a great way to learn more about Irish whiskey in a fun and approachable setting. Highly recommend for both whiskey lovers and beginners alike!

It's both entertaining and informative, touching not only on the craft of whiskey making but also the economics, trade, and history that shaped the industry and Ireland. Our guide, Andrew, was so delightful--engaging, knowledgeable, and clearly someone who enjoys bringing the stories to life. The whole experience takes under an hour and is a nice respite from the bustling crowds outside. And of course, the highlight: tasting several excellent Irish whiskeys at the end. I came away with a better appreciation for tasting than I had before. There's a small gift shop in the area where you purchase your tour ticket, including small merchandise bearing clan crests.
