It was not that bad. The coin machine gave me my money, I found a clean washing machine (on the second try), and there was no homeless person in there. Definitely a self run place as in zero people there to help, but hey. The machine was expensive ($3.75), but I got two laundry baskets in one machine so that was good. Every now and then go to a laundromat and wash your clothes. You'll see there are other people who find themselves in a similar situation, and it will make you feel like life's not so bad. read more

I'm sorry to say that we used this laundromat a week ago (on a weekday afternoon) and did not find it to be clean at all. I had to try to clean out one of the few washers available and still came home with one of my laundered items with new stains (that weren't there before the washing) on it. [luckily able to get them out at home with lots of scrubbing and spray n wash type cleaner]. Did not find anyone in attendance there to help with issues. I would be glad to hear that things have changed in the last week, but unless it has, can't concur with the last review (dated 3/27/23). read more

I don't know what's happened to this place. It used to be clean but it's horrifically dirty. There are are at least 5 machines that have debris, dirt, gunk. Unusable. Two machines are not releasing the soap in the wash cycle but are releasing it during the rinse cycle despite correctly putting it in the labeled compartment. This necessitates running it again. The number provided to call says "mailbox full" and has for some time. Who is running this place? How can you get refunds for machines screwing up? Incredibly expensive for a disgusting place that swallows your money and provides no way to contact anyone for redress. read more

This place was a bummer to visit until the new owner took over a year and a half ago, or so. They clean every day, which makes a difference on the front-loaders especially. He's been responsive when I had an issue with a machine. Plus it's roomy, which is nice in these times. read more

A good laundry spot in Moraga, I believe the only one that in the area. It usually gets busy in the weekend but I have never had an issue finding an open washer. The doors automatically lock after 9:00PM you can still be inside the laundromat but if you exit make sure to take everything with you as the door will lock behind you. Do not leave any food items unattended I have seen mice inside the facilities! read more

If you want hair all in your towels and clothes and stained clothes this is the place for you. This place is in a great location but not a great Laundromat. Please clean your washers and dryers I spent all day Saturday picking out disgusting hairs out of my towels and clothes I was so disgusted especially since there were not mine I went to a different Laundromat to was my towels didn't want other people hair or pubic hair on my face and body.. I have used laundromats for quite some time and I never seen anything like this before. I spend at least 50 when I come here. I will not be back i rather do my clothes in a rough area and get clean clothes instead of this place.. read more

Was very clean and other clientele were pleasant. They have free wi-fi, which I did not use, but will try it next time. Note that the laundromat is located near TJ Maxx, in the same shopping plaza. My GPS took me to the wrong location when I entered the address from Yelp. Washing machines are $2 for 12 lb loads , $4 for in between loads and $5 for 40 lb loads. The dryers are 25 cents for 6 minutes and hold about 30 lbs. It took about 40 minutes and $1.50 to dry a 20 lb load. read more

This place is terrible. I went here a few years ago and it was good but today I walk in and their prices have gone way up and neither of the coin/change machines worked. I try calling the number and nobody answers. Don't waste your time with this place, it's a dump. read more

I had a major problem at this laundromat last weekend. I went in on Sunday, with a bunch of pillows including bolsters that wouldn't fit in my own washer. I've been here several times before and hadn't had problems. I wanted to use the biggest machine, but when I started loading it a woman there doing her wash told me it wasn't working - which left the two next to this big one that don't hold as much. I loaded them both, selected hot temp for both, used the limited amount of soap recommended. One of the washers immediately started overflowing with water running down the floor. The second one got hung up almost immediately on it's cycle, stuck on "27" which is very early in the cycle, and no water went into the washer. I called the posted number for assistance, and left a voicemail. The message is very clear: leave your message, name and telephone number and someone will call you back shortly. No call back. I went out to do the other errands nearby I had to do - this is a schlep for me because I live on the Lafayette/Walnut Creek border, so I plan several things to get done in the Moraga vicinity when I have to use the laundromat. I came back - no change, no attendant. Called again and left message and waited. No call back. I made at least 6 calls over a period of 3 hours. No call back. My stuff kept spinning. Finally I asked others at the laundromat what they suggested - it was very busy, as it usually is on Sundays. A couple people tried to figure out how to stop the spin with no success - meaning pressing every button available. One person suggested I take a video with my phone which I did - and I left a lengthy note on the machine. I finally left my stuff still spinning, took the rest of my dried things back to my home, and sent a private message to the business via yelp, plus leaving yet another phone message. I got a call back at about 10:30 Monday AM from the attendant who told me she had just gotten my message. Naturally she said I had pressed two buttons on the temp selection which is what caused the hang-up. I knew I hadn't done that. Regarding the flooding machine, she said I had put in too much soap. I said I hadn't done that either. Regarding the third, larger machine she said it was newer and she didn't know why it wasn't working but she unplugged it and then plugged it back in and it was working. Because she had gotten my stuff washed and dried, I then decided to wash the final load I didn't do the day before, and put the last of the pillows in the machine that had flooded. Very minimal soap. Guess what - it immediately flooded. She was gone already though - said she had a doctor's appointment. So a couple things - I got a message tonight from the owner who of course is saying I did something, no taking of responsibility on their part. They need to change the phone voicemail to indicate that you will NOT get a call back if there is a problem on Sunday. They also need to indicate this on signage in the store itself. They also need to make sure their equipment is in good running order. I wasn't going to do a post on yelp, but the owner's response was so irritating, especially because I had to run back and forth - a 20 minute drive each way several times - only to hear that it was my problem, not theirs - that I want to let people know USER BEWARE. read more

This laundromat seems a bit sketch. I came here to only dry my clothes. I washed my clothes at home and wanted to workout nearby, so I decided to come here to dry them. I put a half load in the large capacity dryer and put in 2 quarters, which is the amount of money I put in any other dryer to get the job done--no more, no less. So I put my quarters in and went to Starbucks, came back in 15 min and checked on my clothes. It had 1 min left on the timer . After time was up, I opened the door and noticed that my clothes were lukewarm (instead of being hot) and still pretty wet. The clothes felt like they had only received 5 minutes of drying time when I purchased at least 16 min with my 2 quarters! I ended up spending $1.25 to fully dry about 10 garments! That's .75 more than I have spent anywhere else! read more

Super clean laundromat with the huge washers for comforters and sleeping bags. They have a table and chairs with magazines as well as a bar area with electrical outlets to plug in computers. The best part is that it is close to TJ Maxx and Homegoods so I can make a dash in there while doing laundry. read more

They're open 6am- 10 pm 7 days a week, and that's why I love this place. Its a pretty decent little laundromat, and wasn't too crowded so that was nice. They have coin changers that take $1,5, and 10, and there's more than one so that's nice too. Dryers are 25 cents for 6 minutes, so it costs anywhere from $1.25-2 to dry. Washers have $2 for 12 lb load, $4 for mid loads, and $5 for I think a 50 lb load. Basically socks and undies fit pretty well in the small ones, and the mid ones do two peoples worth of pants and shirts pretty easily. The dryers are pretty big, so if you want to put two loads in one they might just fit. Don't over stuff them though. read more

I have used this laundry over the years for larger sized loads such as comforters and blankets and have mostly used the 3 larger washing machines. A huge problem is that these machines will routinely "eat up" extra quarters i.e. sometimes they will not record it when you put the quarters in and also won't return them, so you end up losing money. There is nobody there to talk to or complain to and if you call their phone #, there is only voice mail. I left a message but no one called me back. So, essentially, it is money lost forever - this is not right but there it is. The facility is clean and near TJ Maxx so you can browse there while the machines do their work. But they really need to do something about resolving the "eating up" of quarters, which to me feels a bit on the shady side. read more

Be warned! The extra large front load washers will eat your $7 and never turn on, leaving you with a big soapy mess of bedding that you'll be forced to then wash in another machine and pay for AGAIN.
