Their prices are very high, and they upcharge designer items simply because they are designer items - which they claim is necessary because of the "special care" required. They charged me $47.50 to dry clean a Versace silk sweater but the label simply said "dry clean only." No special methods, no extravagant fabric, no special trim. 2. They have ruined several pieces: two wool sweaters were shrunk beyond wear, and they recently managed to unstitch the crew neckline of a cotton sweater, which I can no longer wear. 3. I gave them a wool zip-front sweater with leather zipper tabs and when I went to pick it up, both leather tabs were missing. It took one month for them to replace the tabs and get it back to me. 4. Their cleaning is hit or miss. I have sent back simple cotton tops with simple stains that they marked unable to clean and - miraculously! - they were able to get the stain out the second time. 5. Their pricing is hit or miss. When I questioned a price, they would double check and suddenly realize they overcharged me. This happened at least 5 times. I sent an email explaining why they lost my business a few weeks ago and did not get a response. They clearly don't care about their customers or their business. I gave them one star because they do offer a member discount.

I dropped off a dress to be cleaned before my friend's wedding, which happened to be Thanksgiving…read moreweekend in Southern California. I was told to pick it up at a certain time, but due to some sort of miscommunication, by the time I arrived the store had already closed early because of the holiday. Since Thanksgiving was the very next day, I figured I was out of luck and started mentally preparing to find a different dress to wear. I called the store anyway and somehow managed to get in touch with the owner. He explained that they had closed early because of Thanksgiving, which I completely understood. But when I told him my situation, he did something I absolutely did not expect. He said he was about 40 minutes away, but insisted on turning around and coming back to the store just so I could get my dress. He drove all the way back, opened the shop for me, and then had to drive another 40 minutes again afterward. I honestly couldn't believe it. That level of customer service is incredibly rare these days. He went so far out of his way to help me, especially right before a major holiday. Truly 10/10 service. The first order of sheets for my massage business were folded so perfectly that I believed they had…read moreonly given me half my order back, everything was so compact. Despite the attitude I got from one staff member when I questioned this, I was very excited to have found such excellent service at such a great price! So when I picked up my second order which was my personal laundry I was very distressed at how badly folded everything was. Graphic t-shirts folded down the middle! Socks rolled! Underwear wasn't folded at all! And they lost one sock each of three separate pairs, two of which were not cheap Hanes socks. Then I picked up my third order. While I did, I dropped off my fourth order, asked about the missing socks and inquired about the repeated discrepancies I thought I had noticed in the pricing between what I was expecting and what they were charging. You see, their website says they charge $1.75 a pound when you bring the laundry in to them. I calculated the weight of that fourth order multiplied by $1.75, and what they wanted to charge me was about $2.20 more than what I came up with. I was informed that the price went up to $1.85 back in July. I pointed out that the website says $1.75 and was told "mmmmhmmm. It went up in July". (False advertising or employees liking their pockets?) I asked about my missing socks and received an earnest answer about how sometimes when they empty the washers wet socks stick to the inside of the machine and get mixed in with the next customer's load... If they know this, why don't they check more carefully?!?! Finally, I got back to my office to bundle my sheets and put them away for quick changes between clients only to find that these sheets were not only not so well folded that I could think some were missing, but they had been wadded and rolled and crammed into the bag, so badly wrinkled that I have to assume they must've been left sitting in a washer or dryer, possibly overnight! The quality of the work from this laundry is completely unreliable. The professionalism of the staff is untrustworthy and the credibility of the overall business is nonexistent. I picked up my fourth and final order today. I will not be returning!!
