Prices have really gone up since the last time I used a cleaners. But comparable here. Done on time with no problems

They dry clean my shirts and pants and the occasional sweater well. Stuff comes back clean, and fast. Like drop it Sunday, get it Tuesday. They have broken tons of buttons off my shirts, though...so signs of carelessness. Service is efficient and attentive, if not super friendly. read more

OK, so I usually stray away from giving businesses one stars because I know that can really affect their business. But in this case I have no quarrels about it! I have a serious bone to pick with this place. I am extremely upset. I came here today to get my brand new $70 blouse, for work and they lost it!! OK, let me rewind. First my sister asked for her jacket and the women behind the counter took her name looked for 2 minutes and said its not here. Blood started boiling in my sis and I told her be calm I am sure it s here. We politely asked her to look again and while she was letting all the clothes pass we saw her jacket. She did not even see it and was convinced it was not there!! Now it's my turn she looked for another minute and gave us the same blank look and plainly said it's not here. Getting a little angry now, I asked if she could please look again because it is expensive and I need it for work. She said, it's not here and moved on to another customer. Can you fu*king believe this, I thought. What kind of customer service is this? First she tells my sister her leather jacket is not there, without hardly looking at all and then this, grrr. I had come here several times before and had decent service, but never again will I come back and you should not either!!! Gone is my blouse and gone is my business. If the older Asian lady is not the owner, you should really reconsider her working the front! I will never be back! UPDATE: OK, so apparently the owner and his new wife were out of town and the woman who was ill-mannered was helping out. They also found my blouse which she gave to someone else. I will update one star and give them another chance and if everything goes well I will improve my rating even more. I am all about second chances! read more

I took my jacket in to have a button tightened because the sash in the back was falling off. When I came back to get it, it was not fixed so I had them do it again. I went in today with my sister who had also dropped an expensive blouse to get dry cleaned. First off, they said they couldn't find my jacket which is a suede jacket and also a gift so I was pretty upset. I made her look again and she still said it wasn't there, but I saw it and pointed it out. Turns out it was mine. The worst part is she then told my sister she couldn't find her blouse. We asked her to look again and she ignored us and started helping the next customer. We were so pissed we walked out. I will NEVER go there again. In fact, I want to give this place no stars because it doesn't deserve any! Revision: Apparently, the normal owner was out of town and the owner did end up calling my sister and found her blouse. I rarely use the dry cleaner since I feel they are a bit expensive and I can iron at home. However, in preparation of a friend's wedding, we needed our clothes dry cleaned and pressed. The woman was super sweet and even sewed a seam on my dress for me for a minimal fee. I will definitely be coming here again in the future as the prices were great and the service was wonderful, too! read more

Just found out they also have free pick up and drop off service with monthly billing. They come to my house twice a week to pick up and drop off. Super convenient!!! read more

Ohhh my goodness. This isn't one-hour cleaners, guys! This is two-or-more-days cleaners! Also they lost my daughter's shirt when we went to pick it up even though I had the receipt with me. I do not get this place. The customer service is really bad and I keep wondering why people come here. I asked them to just launder my stuff, not dry clean it but they dry cleaned it anyway, which would've been fine except that it costs so much more. When I told the lady the price was wrong she just looked away from me and went to the next customer. :( read more

The times I have used this place, we have been happy, but we have never really had a problem with any dry cleaners before. My gripe with these guys is their name, which is a complete misnomer, and the attitude of the owner. On two occasions I have brought my husband's dress shirts in and asked if 'one' of them could be ready by the next day. Both times the answer was no, and on the last occasion she actually laughed in my face! Holy Sh@$! You call yourselves 'ONE HOUR' Cleaners! I have been using One Hour cleaners for years for home delivery and have had excellent, courteous, and reliable delivery service. Recently, my wife sent in an outfit of her's that had a hook that was loose. When they returned the clothing to our home she noticed that they had repaired it. They never even mentioned it, they just fixed it. I have trusted them with my shirts and pants and always had good service. If I need minor repairs they have promptly and effectively taken care of these issues at a very reasonable price. read more

This place is a joke. I went in around 12 p.m. with one garment and asked if they could have it ready in one hour. The lady said she couldn't because it was too late and they only do one hour services on Mondays. They should really consider changing their stores name. read more

I read the reviews and saw the negative feedback but still gave them a try. Wish I hadn't because now 4 of my favorite (most expensive) tops are ruined. I could go on about the experience but would rather just worn people to not go there. read more

This company does a perfect job with the dry cleaning. I have used them for around five years. Nothing gets lost. Buttons are never broken. Everything is beautifully cleaned and beautifully pressed. Also, they do amazing repair work. Ripped clothes, holes in sweaters... I am often surprised and delighted by how well the repairs come out. I've been taking my clothes to One Hour Cleaners for the last couple of years. If I run in at the last minute to get something done quickly, they will have it ready in a couple of hours. The Asian lady who works there is "super super super" good with the customer service and knows what she is doing. She seems to actually care about customer satisfaction. I have never given a 5 star rating before, but One Hour Cleaners deserved it. Highly recommend !!! read more

I have been going to this cleaners for several years for laundry and dry cleaning services and they have been fine. However, this is the first time that I have ever used their tailoring services. I brought them a pair of pants and asked to have them shortened. The woman had me try on the pants and then pinned them for me. I picked them up on my way out of town and when I tried them on during my trip, I found out that the pants had not been shortened (they even seemed like they had been lengthened but I'm not sure how that could be). Regardless, they clearly weren't done right and nobody could wear them at the length that they gave them back to me. I called them on my first day back and asked them to fix them. I expected this to be done at no charge given that they had messed them up in the first place. Not only would they not fix them for free, they told me that it was my fault because I had brought them in pinned and as a result, it was not their fault that it was done incorrectly. She told me directly that she remembered me and that I had brought them in pinned. I was shocked! I couldn't have pinned the pants if I tried! I really expected that because I was a long term customer (and that there clearly was a problem) that they would fix them for free. Apparently, they don't value long term customers. read more

Terrible customer service. If they overcharge or something is wrong, they do not respond or make eye contact but rather act as if they do not understand what you're saying. Asked them to launder a shirt on two separate occasions and they chose to dry clean for nearly 4 times the cost. Once they pressed in double creases in a pair of men's slacks and pretended that they couldn't see it and then didn't understand what I was saying when it was shown to them. I'm done with their disrespect and shady business practices. Don't use this cleaners. Also they try to only get cash for smaller amounts. This is against credit card regulations so don't fall for it. read more

The people who work there are very pleasant. I moved to San Jose just 5 years ago, but this was the place I went to in the past for dry cleaning. I have been to multiple cleaners, and I would say this business does a superb job with my work clothes. My dress shirts and pants always come back immaculate and they accommodate my needs if I need my clothes sooner. I have done minor alterations with pants, such as hemming, expanding my pant's waist (i know, i know.. it comes with age) and the measurements are always perfect. read more

We have been customers here for many years and have spent many $$$$s. It was close to home and we were generally satisfied. They never offered one hour cleaning so the name is misleading and pointless. They also use permanent ink and write the name on men's shirts! I thought this was crazy but it didn't bother my husband so that's not my problem. Last week, I took my husbands expensive sports coat in. We bought this overseas so it's irreplaceable. It had a food mark on the sleeve and I pointed this out when I dropped it off. When I went to pick it up, the lady brought it out from the back and said they were unable to get the ink marks out!!. The jacket had ink down the front, down the back and on the sleeves. She said it was because there was a pen in the pocket. My husband does not keep pens in his pocket. Even if he did, wouldn't they check before they cleaned it? It was obvious from where the ink was that it had been dropped on it. The thing that is really bad is she blamed us!! She said it had the marks when I took it in. The jacket is ruined. The least she could do was admit fault but no. She was obstinate and unhelpful. We'll never go back. No loyalty and very dishonest. read more
