Good quality service. LOVE the pick up and delivery! I've had dry cleaning and laundry done and I'm very satisfied with both.

Unfortunately, I have not had a great experience with these folks after a year of trying. Here's why: 1. Their prices are very high, and they upcharge designer items simply because they are designer items - which they claim is necessary because of the "special care" required. They charged me $47.50 to dry clean a Versace silk sweater but the label simply said "dry clean only." No special methods, no extravagant fabric, no special trim. 2. They have ruined several pieces: two wool sweaters were shrunk beyond wear, and they recently managed to unstitch the crew neckline of a cotton sweater, which I can no longer wear. 3. I gave them a wool zip-front sweater with leather zipper tabs and when I went to pick it up, both leather tabs were missing. It took one month for them to replace the tabs and get it back to me. 4. Their cleaning is hit or miss. I have sent back simple cotton tops with simple stains that they marked unable to clean and - miraculously! - they were able to get the stain out the second time. 5. Their pricing is hit or miss. When I questioned a price, they would double check and suddenly realize they overcharged me. This happened at least 5 times. I sent an email explaining why they lost my business a few weeks ago and did not get a response. They clearly don't care about their customers or their business. I gave them one star because they do offer a member discount. read more

im sure their dry cleaning is great, but dont recommend to come in for bridal gown alterations... I was told to buy a completely new dress (infront of other staff) without being given a quote of what the alterations would cost. If you have minor alterations then you might be in luck. Overall thumbs down experience as a bride to be. read more

Absolutely fantastic service and quality of work! I trusted them with my Canada Goose and Escada jackets, and the quality of their work was superb--everything came back looking brand new. Every single person who works here is incredibly nice and helpful, whether you're speaking to them on the phone or at the front desk. They include free pickup and delivery service! We had a mistake on our bill, but Bob handled it immediately with so much kindness and efficiency. They are professional, honest, and do excellent work. Highly recommend Bob and his wonderful team! read more

This is my second time doing the wash and fold service. The pick-up and drop-off timing was a little inconvenient. They had told me they could drop off at a certain time so I prepared for that time but then they weren't able to come until an hour later. For pickup they said they'd come around 5 so I stuck around waiting for a while, but they showed up an hour later. I know they said they'd can drop-off and pick up without anyone being home but I'd prefer not to leave my clothes outside. I totally understand that things happen but considering the price I paid for the service, I was hoping that the pick-up and delivery would be smoother. Update: After checking the clothes I am extremely disappointed, some of my clothes came back with stains that weren't there before and I am also missing some items. Very dissatisfied with their service this time around. read more

Martinizing Dry Cleaners Danville Ca - Stain that it came back with, it was a pretty expensive hoodie too. Not sure if I will even be able to get these stains out. - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Danville, California

I have been using their Pick Up and Delivery service for over 20 years. In Retirement I don't have as many items to dry clean as I did,. That said, they have done an excellent job keeping my sweaters and silk items in perfect condition, and ready for that wedding, dinner out, etc. I didn't realize they did repairs until recently, I will be sending my precious Dale of Norway sweater for a minor repair. I've been with Bob and company for a long, long time. One of the best dry cleaning services that I've had the pleasure of working with. You can do everything either over the phone, or via text. His team will always take care of you, no matter if you have pickups, drop offs, or need delivery service. I don't think I've ever met him in person because of my work schedules but they always keep me looking good with my suits, shirts and slacks. If there's a button missing (or honestly any repair work), you just note it and they take care of it without any other reminder. Or if you forget to note it, just text them. Even with discounts - a text will satisfy. Love this team. As long as they continue to service the Danville area, I'll continue to be a loyal customer. Service is amazing. I'm sure there are others that are cheaper, but I've used some of the cheaper services that tore holes in my shirts. I can always count on Martinizing. Best dry cleaner service around this area imho. read more

Sticker shock! Service is phenomenal. I took in 3 pieces: a shirt, slacks, and a jacket. Cost almost $30. I can't afford to bring my weekly cleaning here. read more

I am not sure why my pickup wash and fold experience was so different from the reviews below. You can text or use the app for pickup but when our clothes came back, everything was still damp, clothes were folded inside out, and no attempt to separate adult and kid clothes. It was just a jumbled mess. I should have just did my laundry myself. Also, they pick up Friday and deliver on Tuesday, so you have to wait a while for your stuff. Waiting would be fine if it were washed and folded back nicely. Finally, we asked for the $199/mon family plan for up to 90 lbs and got charged the normal wash and fold rate. We tried Country Club Cleaner's wash and fold next and it was much better. Pick up Thursday, deliver back Friday, everything folded well and kids' and adults' clothes separated. read more

First, THANK YOU!!! Dropped off 2 of my husband's button-down shirts that just needed pressing. They were speedy and did a great job. Highly recommend. read more

I have been using Martinizing for my business for a few years now, and I have found them to be extremely kind and courteous, and many times they have gone above and beyond in service to me. (Especially when I have forgotten something or had last minute requests!). Thank you so much, Bob and all the team at Martinizing. Martinizing Dry Cleaners cleaned my king-sized down comforter and were willing to hold it for a month while I was out of state. Their pricing was very reasonable. They were friendly and accommodating, and I will definitely be using them in the future! read more

I'd like to say this is only a review for their Wash and Fold services, 1. Special instructions for medium to low temperature wash and dry was requested along with separating white clothing from colors. 2. The fold consistency was awful, majority of my clothes were wrinkled, and 50% of the clothes were left off worse than initially dropped off. 3. The texture of my clothes felt burnt and it was off and no longer soft from when I dropped it off. - This was a big negative. I verified with the store before leaving this review as to what their process was for wash and fold, and they did mention that they "usually" ensure that the wrinkled clothe along with being balled up and dropped off isn't the case. The instructions weren't followed. All the athletic pants were left like that. It's unfortunate this happened as their dry cleaning services and specialty dry cleaning considerations are top notch. They won't be able to reimburse me for the damage they have done to the material of my clothes. This is to inform consumers to look elsewhere or be even more specific and speak with the appropriate personnel for the wash and fold services. read more

Too notch work by friendly staff who greet you with a smile every time you come in. The turn around is quick and my limited experience so far tells me I need to look no further for my new dry cleaners. read more

it was my first time using a dry cleaners service, so I reached out to a couple dry cleaners near me to get a quote. Bob from martinizing dry cleaners was not only super helpful, but very kind and offered a complimentary service for my husband and I! The process was easy, and the staff at the Danville location were very friendly. We dropped off our clothes (5 pieces), and they were ready after 3 business days. They offer free pick up and drop off, so we asked them to drop it off. However the driver was late on our scheduled drop off day/time, so they tried to rearrange a new drop off time. I had some business nearby so I just went to pick it up, but we will definitely try out the free pickup/delivery service next time. read more

Bob and team are great. Easy to schedule a pick-up. Clothes are returned clean, well cared for and on time. We've been using them for many years. Highly recommend. read more

The Martinizing Dry Cleaners (MDC) does an excellent job with fast turnaround and quality work and service to your door. A little more expensive but value you can trust and experience. I needed a suit cleaned with alterations delivered on time before a big upcoming event. DONE. Their work was flawless and delivered to my door a day ahead of time. Ask for Liz. She kept her word. Poor communication and drop off/pickup instructions not followed. I had high hopes but my initial experience wasn't good. They are also very expensive and the service should have been there. Using too much plastic. read more

Excellent dry cleaners. I was in a bind and need ed a suit pressed and cleaned. They completed this request same day. Amazing service!

Very positive experience so far. They have the next level of customer service. Something that you no longer see around. Actual people who respond right away and take care of things. Can recommend. read more

My experience was not god at all. My sweater was returned to me not cleaned at all. It still has dirt particles on it (not a hard stain that could not be removed), some hair at turtleneck area, so they just did nothing, never clean it in any way, charged me $30 dollars, and never came back to me after my complaint. Update: nobody came back to me after I emailed my claim personally. read more

So far so good. They've dry cleaned a few dress shirts and pants for me. They're priced similar to other places, maybe slightly lower. I've been very happy with them so far! Their delivery service is great. They are very friendly and communicate well with customers.

5 months ago my pink leather jacket was returned to me but had been dyed beige rather than pink, even though the lining is pink. They said they would send it back to the leather cleaners to be redyed (I didn't know that they sent leathers to another cleaner). 2 months later the owner called and said that they couldn't redye it and they would order and purchase another pink jacket for me at no charge. I haven't heard from the cleaners so I called and left a message for the owner to return my call with updated info on my jacket. He has not returned my call!!! read more

Amazing service every single time! Their app is super convenient to schedule a pick up. Laundry is always fresh and clean. We've also used them before when we were waiting for a new washer/dryer and they did such a great job washing and folding all our clothes. Will continue using them! read more

Not a place to take men's shirts. If you want a white dress shirt cleaned they will call it a "men's blouse" and dry clean it. Ridiculous.

Martinizing has a locker in our apartment complex where they pick up and drop off stuff. I had a few shirts and thought I'd give it a try not expecting the best experience. Boy was I wrong, they did amazing! My shirts looked amazing, were brought back quickly and they communicated perfectly. So when I got my clothes back and found out they do repairs and alterations I thought, hell why not. I have these pants that ripped on the butt so I added them to the bag and let them know it's in there. Got them back the other day and you would never be able to tell they had to fix them. Cost is extremely reasonable and worth it. I'm extremely impressed and even if we move out we plan on using them from now on. If your thinking about giving them a try, DO! read more
