Went in for an appointment at 11am on a Saturday which was confirmed the day before for wedding dress alterations. I was quoted around $170 for dry cleaning which i thought was reasonable; I didnt know what to expect as it was my first time getting something dry cleaned and altered. I also wanted to give it a shot since the seamstress was highly recommended. To put a long story short I was put in a small cold corner of the back room with a curtain and small 4ft mirror... the woman "helping" me was busy with all the customers walking in while I was waiting for her to help me zip my dress and begin pinning it. She was the only staff attending guests. Each a time person walked in, she would leave to attend guests 5-10 minutes ata time and after the third time, i decided to leave. Ill give her credit for trying but it was way too busy and unprofessional. Dry cleaning experience might be better than actual alterations here. read more

There are new owners (maybe within the last 1.5 years?) They do not tell you the cost until you pick up your item((s). The place doesn't look clean. The owner supposedly does tailoring but is never there. The person who does intake will pin what needs to be tailored, though she doesn't do the work. I will be looking for a new dry cleaner and tailors. read more

I was very hopeful this drycleaner would be the go-to place. It's very conveniently located, the "drive-through" parking is nice, and the people are friendly. Unfortunately, there were a series of continued issues that are core to why one uses a drycleaner. I've been using drycleaners for thirty years. Quality: My cleaning is 80% business shirts laundry and 20% drycleaning. They have a problem with either process or equipment as I had shirts where virtually every button was broken, and shirts where the buttons essentially melted. I also had shirts where the cuff was pressed so hard that it created a very strange, tight wavy edge. Having never experienced the button issues before, I brought it to their attention, and they replaced the buttons. Two of the shirts with melted buttons were new, so it was especially frustrating. It also took a few visits to get the repaired shirts as they were not ready when expected. Service: On one of those occasions, when I needed to pick up shirts, I went close to their opening time and they were dark. No one was there. I waited 15 minutes and several other customers arrived, were perplexed, and left. Surely whoever was supposed to open the shop just didn't make it to work. I want B-Line to be successful, but these issues need to be addressed. read more

This is my first time dropping clothes off at B-Line cleaners. I do like the fact that I can park my car in the driveway and walk in to drop off my clothes. I noticed that the store hours on weekdays starts at 7:30 AM, which is amazing since the last dry cleaners that I was using didn't open till 10 AM which was inconvenient now and that's why I was looking for someplace new. When I walked in, I was greeted by nice man by the name of John. He was so friendly and nice, and then I told him that it was my first time visiting the store, but he treated me like I was a long time customer which was really nice. I also like the fact that when I walked in, smelled clean, and it looked clean inside. So, I dropped off my clothes formed John that I was in no rush and he let me know that they will be ready next week. I do like the fact that the store offers nontoxic dry cleaning. This is a future that I missed when I was going to my old dry cleaners in Walnut Creek and then moved to a different dry cleaners in Danville, which I was trying different places until I found the B-line cleaners . I would have to say so far so good. I will update this review when I pick up my clothes next week. read more

This morning went to pick up laundry twice no one there. When called to find out when they opened she said she was coming in at 9:00 this week. No signage saying when she was opening. Asked why she had not written anything she said oh I forgot and the website is wrong. When I asked to speak to a manager she said she does not come in and employee offered to relay a message. Harassed and assaulted at B-Line Cleaners! I went in to pick up my coat that was dropped off over a week ago. The owner went into the back for a long period of time. I saw her finally with my coat handing it to someone to be pressed. When I saw the coat there were still stains on the lining and it was obvious they hadn't cleaned it. When I asked for my money back, she refused and was angry and irate. I insisted several times and finally she gave me the cash I had just handed her. She then followed me out the door yelling at me and grabbed the coat and began smashing it and trying to wrinkle it. In the process the belt to the jacket fell into a puddle. VERY OVERPRICED. i dropped off a bridesmaid dress and they did not have it ready on the day they said they would. they charged me $55 to have a simple slip dress hemmed. did a horrible job at it despite over charging and bc of their failed timeliness i had to come back ON THE DAY OF THE WEDDING to pick up the dress. No one seemed to care about the major inconvenience they had caused me and the sales associate was laughing at me when i was sharing my disappoint that instead of being with my best friend on her wedding day i was stuck driving back to danville to pick up a HORRIBLY hemmed dress. I have to make a confession, I'm a Good Deal-a-holic...which is why when I was in the True Religion outlet, I went crazy. Everything in the store was on sale! So I bought 3 pairs of jeans for a steal (like 3 pairs for less than the cost of 1 regularly priced), but True Religion HATES short people and only makes jeans in a 34 length. When you're dropping mad cash on blue jeans, you need to have them tailored by people you trust, and B-line Cleaners was the only place I considered. I walked in and one of the owners immediately greeted me by name and ushered me back to get my pants pinned. Then they told me to come back in two days to pick them up! They did a stellar job, as always, and I really couldn't be happier with quality of the hem or the overall experience. All of my previous comments in my old review hold true four years later. This place has amazing customer service, they don't judge, they do quality work and the tailoring is perfect while also being at a good price point. This company is the reason I signed up for yelp. They stink and were horrible. Based on my first visit I will never go back and have made sure to tell everyone else I know not to go there. They may not know where I go for my dry-cleaning. But they KNOW that I do not go to B-Line. My first experience I went to pick up my clothes. They were not ready when they were supposed to be done. I asked if they could at least clean my sport jacket because I had a meeting I needed to go to after work. The lady looked in the bin and said I am not going to look for it. So since they did not take the time or effort to help me even though they were already late I must rate them one star and will never be back. Great dry cleaners and reasonably priced! When we first moved to Danville, we 'shopped' around for a good drycleaner. Some of the places we tried were based on recommendations from friends who live in the area and a couple we tried based on the look of the place. Well we tried B-Line Cleaners based on the look ... it looked like a drive through fast food place ... thought it would be interesting. Let's say it's a real gem. Susan, the owner and her team provide great service and were one of the more reasonably priced dry cleaners in Danville. They've never lost anything, always launder our clothes in accordance to our preference and I've even had my wedding dress cleaned and preserved (for an extremely reasonable price!!). If you're not happy with your current dry cleaners or you feel you're pay ing too much , it's definitely worth trying out B-Line Cleaners. read more

I'm seriously furious. I took in a dress as well as a Lacoste coat on Tuesday and picked it up on Friday. As soon as the woman put in my number, she said "Oh, we forgot to call you" and I immediately assumed my clothes weren't ready, no big deal. She went into the back and grabbed my coat, laid it on the counter, then proceeded to tell me two leather straps were snapped. I knew one had snapped last winter but I was furious to hear the other strap was broken. I checked the jacket myself when dropping it off and even checked the pockets to make sure nothing was left. I know for a fact the second strap was still in tact and when I told her, all she said was "No." and continued to tell me I did it before dropping it off. She told me they "never touched it" and they "refused to clean it" without first calling to inform me...which they "forgot". REALLY?? She then had the nerve to ask me that now I saw "what was done to it" if I still wanted it clean. Of course I do not want to you to touch my clothes again. How can I believe you didn't break the strap if you didn't even remember to call me about it? I paid for my dress and left. Never coming back. read more

Sorry, another BIG negative. Multiple items brought in, including a dress and dress shirts. The dress came back with a large spot smack in the middle, Susan tried to remove it, but only worsened the damage. The dress is no longer wearable. The white dress shirt came back with a dirt ridge around the bottom of the pocket. Took it back, the woman at the countered claimed it was lint, tried to remove it with her fingernail while I stood there, and it was clearly not lint, but stained. Shirt is ruined. The problem with these cleaners is that they can deny anything, so make sure you take pictures of anything that you value before handing it over to them. read more

I will not bring in alterations again as they hemmed my pants up to my ankles instead of only an inch as I'd requested. I brought my nice dress to B-Line Cleaners. It was black with a light cream colored band around the waist and another light cream colored band around the bottom. The dress had other details about it that made it one of a kind. I loved this dress and felt beautiful in it. When I picked up my dress from B-Line Cleaners, and saw my dress, my heart broke. They had ruined it. The light cream colored bands were turned gray. I took it back and told them what had happened. They said it wasn't their fault. Then to make matters worse, they lied and said it was like that when I brought it in. I'm sure they just got lazy and simply threw the dress in the wash. If you truly love a piece of clothing, do not take it to B-Line Cleaners. Do not trust these lying morons with your clothes. read more

II was glad they had same day service. I was up in the area for a business trip and had to get several shirts, pants dry cleaned the same day. (yes! procrastination happened) but lucky enough, B-Line offered same day service and was able to get them pretty fast. I had no problems and in fact, the quality was absolutely great. I started using B-Line about a year ago when my previous dry cleaners started making my clothes look dingy and I could smell strong chemicals on my clothing. Someone told me that meant they were reusing the solutions multiple times. I started going to B-line on a friends recomendation and my clothes are never dingy and they just smell clean. They are very careful and call attention to anything that might be a problem. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I have been a loyal customer. Today I went to pick up my dry cleaning and because I only had one item that was less than $10 dollars they would not accept a credit card. I informed the lady I did not have a check or cash and had a child in the car nor was there a sign there was a minimum. She said sorry. Well I will be back to pick up my item and that is it.
