From the minute you walk in the door! This is the nicest laundromat I have ever seen. It's…read moreadorably decorated, clean, comfy chairs and even had a "help yourself" area with coffee, hot chocolate, and snacks at no cost. The machines are clean, smell great and are priced accordingly. I thought I had experienced everything I could until Jeannie the general manager walked in. Talk about customer service and making everyone feel at home. She was kind, professional and easy to talk with. Let's say she's the icing on top. I'm my 63 years,, I have never witnessed anything even close to this place; it's worth the drive, come by and check it out. You won't be disappointed. Thank you to the owner and to Jeannie for caring about your business. You've definitely won me over. I'll be back. Best Walnut Creek find of the day.

TLDR: Great spot- clean facility and machines, friendly service, fast cycles…read more First laundromat experience ever and happy to say we survived! We did do some research to find a nice clean location and this one had solid reviews so we gave it a try. Right across from Safeway and BWP in downtown Walnut Creek, parking IS metered but there's plenty of it near the entrance which is key when loading and unloading. I have (literally) years worth of laundry that I've been waiting to do because my machines at home are too small. Duvets, comforters, blankets and towels galore. I couldn't take them living in trash bags anymore so we finally took them here to wash and dry. Yes, its expensive. We used the largest machines- 80lb machines- and it was $17 a wash load. Good news is, drying is only $1.50 each 16 minute cycle. But the peace of mind finally getting these items washed and in a clean establishment is most important. The staff member was super friendly and was seen cleaning them entire time we were there, probably a couple hours. $17 a cycle feels high, but if that's your one load for the week for 80lbs of laundry is sufficient for most people, and that cycle only takes 24 minutes then you're into the dryer. You can be in and out in an hour if you load your machines right. We went around 5p on a Sunday evening, and it wasn't busy at all. 2 other patrons. Then it picked up and during the time we were there most machines were in use. No 5th star because its hot and stuffy inside. Theres a standing fan to try to help, but its broken. Wish there was AC.

While the woman working here is very nice, this establishment completely ruined a one-of-a-kind…read moresilk dress. My husband brought the dress in specifically to see if a tough stain could be removed. They sent it out to a third-party cleaner who they claimed has "been in business for 30 years." Not only was the stain still there (which we understood was a possibility), but the dress was returned in complete disarray. It came back looking like an accordion, with a new snag on the shoulder, a pen mark on the collar, and random dirt marks. The original stain wasn't even in a noticeable place, but the new damage is impossible to miss. To make matters worse, the employee handed the dress back to my husband without a single word about its condition; I only discovered the damage once he brought it home. I sent photos and even brought the dress back in person to show her the damage. She offered to ask the third party what happened, but I refused to leave the dress in their careless hands a second time. I don't even want money--the dress is irreplaceable. I just wanted acknowledgment, an apology, and a shred of accountability for handing over an item in that condition. Unreal. Save yourself the risk and go to Mama's just a few stores down. Don't trust them with your clothes.
