I was in there about a month ago and I needed to take out a big chunk of money from my acct. I was told usually you need to tell the bank about a week in advance to take that kind of money out. I had explained my husbands car had been stolen and we needed to buy a new car that day from a friend. Evelyn was super amazing and worked things out and got me my money that day. It helped us a lot. If you are looking for a Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC), go see Evelyn Kaneshige, Sr. Relationship Banker at Technology Credit Union in Dublin. Her service and communication throughout the process has been exceptional. In July 2021, my wife and I went to Tech CU for a HELOC as my HELOC with Patelco was about to expire after 10 years. We met with Evelyn in the Dublin branch and she walked us through the process, what documentation was needed as well as the overall timelines. She set our expectations that the overall process was going to take about 3 months given the backlog with the underwriters as well as the appraisal process. When we got home, we provided the documents that she needed. They have a secure email server for uploading of confidential documents so that your information is secure. The next step was the appraisal of our home which was quick and easy. The final step was the underwriting once the appraisal came in. During this time, Evelyn kept us updated which we appreciated. On October 2, we signed the documents and our HELOC was executed and completed. It was approximately 3 months from start to finish...the timing that Evelyn provided at the start of the process. We were very, very happy with the service and support from Evelyn. Go see her for your financial needs including a HELOC at Technology Credit Union in Dublin. read more

Came back to open up student account for our daughter. Process a bit long but Edwin kept my daughter engaged and it felt like a breeze. The goodies from Rowena was a nice icing on the cake that made the entire process pleasant for me and my kids. Highly recommend this branch and congrats to TCU team with creating a family atmosphere rather than a bank. read more

We needed to come in person to update our personal info on the account. Kasish Shah was the rep who spoke with us and assisted us with our concerns. She is the perfect example of why we've been members of this credit union for over 20 years: she took the time to make us feel like people and and not an account number. We recommend tech cu to everyone we know because it is the best! read more

I just got a pre-approved auto loan from Tech CU. Everything was so professional and smooth. Though it was my first loan experience in the US iI did not feel the pressure of documentation or the process. I would like to thank the staff especially Deepika, Evelyn, and Edwin Asis as they went all the way to take care of everything till it was approved. Will refer my friends to apply through Tech CU as their interest rates are also the best in the industry. read more

I recently closed a HELOC with TechCU. I had shopped around with a couple of other places; I got the best rate at TechCU. My banker Deepika Khandelwal was really helpful throughout the process. She always returned to my emails on time and followed up with phones several times throughout the process. TechCU took care of the closing costs related to the HELOC. I had no issues. I have used TechCU for a car loan in the past too. That was also a good relationship. TechCU is a good organization. They still value old-fashioned relationship banking and believe in serving their customers well. read more

Long overdue words of thanks to this TechCU branch! Since I've been out of the SBay for a while now, the Dublin branch has been my go to TechCU location for the past 4yrs. Whenever I come in, everyone is always friendly & professional. At my most recent visit, Joey was great & efficiently helped my husband & I with what we needed- he's also very personable so it was nice to chat. In the past I've been helped by Deepika, Edwin, & Rowena, and so far the Dublin team continue to be very warm and attentive. read more

*Not a member of this CU* I had an issue with the ATM restarting while I was depositing money, craziest thing to ever happen to me. Thanks to Rowena and Deepika the investigation was able to move quickly and the money was found. We have been TechCU customers for at least 10 years. We exclusively use the Dublin branch. It is comforting to use a credit union where you recognize the employees, and they recognize you. I have been a member at TECH CU for several decades now and I simply love their service and affordability (interest rates). I just refinanced my car with them to a lower rate and it was a snap. I have also used their car buying services and it worked beautifully. I knew I was getting a great price through them since I had done research on my own. They went out and got the price I wanted and I did not have to waste time negotiating at the dealership. They did the financing too on my new car purchase and the whole thing was totally seamless and painless. Five stars all the way. read more

Deepika Khandelwal Senior Relationship Banker I will try to summarize all the good things about Deepika:- She's super knowledgeable. She patiently educated us on the application for HELOC bringing up many aspects to consider and took the time to understand what were important to us. - She was honest and straightforward with us throughout the entire process. She helped us and guided us throughout the entire time to get the loan approved and earned our trust in a big way. - We got the loan in 2 months instead of six. That's just amazing! - Even after we got the loan she has been helping doing so many things above and beyond what I would have dreamed an banker would do! She's made an effort to stay in touch and help us in whatever way she could. If you want to apply for HELOC don't waste your time with anyone else, give her a call. read more

I have not been to any other TechCU locations but I would highly recommend the Dublin location. I just purchased a used vehicle from a private party and had the pleasure of working with Evelyn and the TechCU team for financing. A recommendation and low finance rate drew me to work with TechCU. Having only financed new or paid cash for previous vehicles, financing a used vehicle from a private party was a new process for me. Evelyn and the TechCU Dublin team were extremely helpful and provided detailed process and instructions to make a smooth transaction. The team is very personable and professional. I was impressed that all three bankers from my first interaction welcomed me by name the next time I came in. read more

Omg! This location has the best customer service ever experienced. I deposited cash in their ATM location, the plan was to deposit 3K. Of course I didn't know that there was contingency that allowed to make a deposit. Either 40 bills or Total of 1K which ever comes first. Long story short I deposited 40 bills with over total 1K. The machine asked if I wanted to refund the remaining and I pressed Y. I took my receipt and went inside the bank to deposit the remaining 2K. Jose, helped me and telling me I am short of 380.00, he wrote a dispute letter to the 3rd party regarding my transaction. A week later I got my money back. The team at this Location in Dublin are AWESOME! Special thanks to Jose, Deepika, Edwin and Evelyn. They are all super accommodating! I couldn't ask for more... Thank you for recovering my $380.00 read more

Janice Pham, Edwin Asis, Christine Ha, Hoda Rasoul went out of their way to get my auto loan done quickly and they couldn't have been friendlier. Highly recommend Tech CU! read more

I enjoy this Tech CU location best having gone to three others. They treat me fairly and not like a suspect like the other TechCUs or varying banking institutions. I will say that there is inconsistency in the bank tellers. There is one guy that does things differently than the others. I've gone in and my wife has been in plenty of times to conduct transactions, enough times to be recognized by him. He just leaves a sour taste whenever he helps me. What I want is for him to file suit like the others. They know us and treat us like customers not suspects. We swear our checks are good and we swear we are who we say we are!!! He seems unhappy and not very personable. He gets the job done, but is seems forced. This is my credit union that I use for just about everything, so I'll be back. One bad apple can truly spoil the bunch. read more

I had initially contacted Tech Credit Union by phone for mortgage needs. Khatija Begum (mortgage originator) returned my call in a very short period of time. She was very pleasant to talk to, and she explained to me very clearly how Tech CU could help me with the mortgage processing. She connected me to Deepika Khandelwal, a senior relationship banker at Tech CU. Deepika was highly knowledgeable about financial products and services offered by their bank and guided me through the way to understand and identify the product that would best meet my needs. She kept in constant touch with me and answered every question I had very promptly. Deepika is a professional individual with a strong work ethic and someone one can entirely rely on for loan-related support and services. I had an incredible experience working with Deepika and Khatija, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking out for mortgages and other financial services.
