We've shopped at Paragon for decades and always had good to great experiences there. The staff is…read morewell-informed, has integrity and the merchandise is of excellent quality. Tonight l had another great experience at Paragon thanks to the sensitivity and good nature of Mike R in the upstairs shoe and boot department. As a rule, my 88-year old husband doesn't like to buy himself new clothes. But after what feels like weeks in this polar vortex, with him stubbornly trudging and slipping through the snow in old rubber rain boots and a cane, l stopped hinting and put my foot down: we were going to buy him some warm, waterproof boots with cleats. Knowing that he might only put up with one outing, I decided to scout Paragon on my own, first. Mike R. advised me he had only one style of boot that fit what l was looking for and not many sizes left. When he came back with a size in the ballpark, l asked if he could hold it for me. Mike was blunt: he couldn't do any 24-hour holds with the stock so low, but he could hold it for two hours. I thanked him, explaining that if l bought these and presented them to my husband as a done deal he would never even try them on. But we'd be back, within the hour. When we arrived on the floor, Mike picked right up on the dynamic: this was not a customer for a hard sell. And so Mike was the soul of discretion. He kept a low profile, talking quietly and only to me and showed up just often enough to be helpful. He was patient, kind and l got the feeling he was enjoying the challenge of selling without ever even connecting with the guy trying on the boots. And Mike's strategy worked! We made the transition from my husband's original reaction to the only boots in his size ("l hate them!") to walking out with four pairs of socks and that same pair of warm, waterproof boots with cleats. I am deeply grateful to and frankly in awe of Mike R, Paragon boots department. Thank you!

Most recently, I used them the day after X-mas because my resistance was no longer working on the machine. I have found them to be very responsive and communication is never a problem. FMT will call and explain their process and the price before they even get to your front door. The technicians that solved my issues were punctual and always nice, friendly, polite, and professional. To ensure the problem was fixed, they had me get on the machine and start a program. The prices are competitive and reasonable for a craft like this. I was able to pay the technician on one occasion and pay them online on the other occasion. It is nice to know I have someone to call when or if I ever have a problem with my machine.

The tech had been scheduled, without our knowledge, for an appointment that we were unaware of and was not confirmed. Despite their error, FMT simply suggested we find another treadmill service company. We'll gladly do this, but this is an absolutely horrible way to do business.

They also carry Landice. They returned my email right away suggesting I come by the store to try out the treadmills. Lou met with us the following day and was very welcoming and we did not feel any pressure to buy. He told us all about the different Precors and asked about our usage so that he could suggest the best one that fit our needs. We were able to test run on all the treadmills while Lou accomodated all our questions. We decided to buy the Precor TM 211 the following day and Lou was able to do the order all over the phone. Shortly after on that day, we received an email that we could expect a call from the delivery/installation people. In one week we had our treadmill delivered and installed (although I believe the speed of delivery is based on availability at Precor) - which is faster than all the other places I had contacted. The delivery/installation guys were very nice and set up and tested the treadmill in just over an hour. They called us a couple of days prior to set up the appointment, then the night before, and then the morning of, which I really appreciated. They were very neat and cleaned up everything afterwards, and also took away all the packaging materials so we would not have to worry about it. I highly recommend stopping by or giving Leisure Fitness a call if you need any home gym fitness equipment, or even fitness equipment for your facility. They took the time to answer all our questions, they offer high quality products, and made good on their promise on delivery and installation. Pros nothing much to…read moresay positive about this company Cons Unprofessional as it gets, don't be fooled by the reviews. The owner has no sense of professionalism. I have never left a negative review in my life, but dear me, I also think you can expect some standard when you hire a company for services. Unfortunately, the standard at Gym Tech was inferior, not to say the worst. Where do I start? Hired GymTech to install a squat rack, the technician came lovely man, did his job assembled and bolted down the squat rack. Now a year goes by; I'm contacting gym tech because the bolts got loose (see attached picture) and need to be fixed for our residents' safety. They replied that they had never allowed this? how is this possible when I have all the emails to prove that they have authorized this installation, and just told us no out of nowhere, and this is the response from the owner telling you all about this company. I Will not recommend not adding that they are expensive too. We found better service and honest professionals who came to fix our squat rack the next day. Overall it's very ABSOLUTELY unprofessional, don't waste your time.

I was told to arrive 15 minutes early so the trainer could introduce herself and I assumed walk me through the equipment, ask if I have any injuries or issues, and make sure I understand how to use the equipment. none of this happened. I walked in with everybody else - I might as well have been doing it for the 50th time for all she knew. it's very hard to see or hear the instructor bc it's so dark, loud and crowded in there. The equipment is not self-explanatory. She never checked my form once and as a result, I'm sitting here with a very painful wrist, inner left knee and ankle. Hopefully it's just tendinitis or irritated ligaments, but who knows? they make you sign a liability waiver (I see why, now). All of this could've been avoided if I had just gotten a little attention in the class and been shown some modifications for some of the moves. they really need an all beginners class or reserve spots upfront for beginners. at one point I had two sliders under 1 foot which probably contributed to my injury, but I couldn't tell in the dark whether it was one or two. also the weights you lift are soft wrist and ankle weights, and it was very hard to get a good grip on them. They really should have 3lb dumbbells as well.

I had a Brand New LifeFitness T5 $5500 Treadmill with a factory defect of a Bent pin in one of the plugs after I installed. LIFEFITNESS Tech Support was HORRIBLE. These guys came and figured it out within the hour and kept testing my machine before they left and lubricated it. So they wanted to be VERY thorough. Cause they took pride in their work. And they put it back together correctly and brought my treadmill back to life after I kept getting an Emergency Stop Key Warning, which didn't allow my treadmill to be used at all. BRAND NEW UNIT--no less.

I typically don't enjoy cycling classes, but out of all the ones that I've taken, this one was my favorite. A big reason was because it was relatively low pressure. The instructor was so friendly and the room seemed to have a calm yet welcoming vibe to it. It definitely had moments of motivation, but it wasn't aggressive. Brandon was fantastic, as were his song choices. I enjoyed how the class was in the dark but had cool studio lighting and candles. My favorite was how the seats actually were able to be adjusted for someone under 5 foot tall. I was excited that there was a small weights section of class, but it didn't really feel like it did much. There are lockers upstairs and downstairs, as well as bathrooms and showers for use. You can rent cycling shoes there and leave them in a bin for cleaning afterwards. Yeah If you really enjoy cycling, I think this class is worth it. I probably will not come back anytime soon as I just started a different gym membership, but if someone invited me to another class, I would definitely attend.
