Buy from anywhere else. This company is trash. I have shoes, Capri, from here I got as a gift that fit great and are size 10. I recently purchased the Vegan in the same size and are too small. This makes no sense but whatever. I then went to return them and they require a $14 restocking fee and because I got them "on discount" I am only able to get a store credit. Well your whole online store is on discount because the second you go to the website it says get 15% off by signing up for email...so yeah why would I not. That's how they scheme you to essentially never be able to just return for a refund. You should stand by your product and give someone their money back especially when your business if primarily online. read more

Meh. The aesthetics of the store is nice, and the shoes look nice. I got the attention of a store employee and he seemed annoyed to ask to try on a certain shoe size. He brought the box over and practically threw it on the side flat surface and then brought me the shoes and the way he handed one over and put the other in the floor was just like careless. It just felt like we were being a burden to this guy. Overall, vibes were off and I didn't love the shoe enough to justify paying that price point. Went to Steve Madden in SoHo not too far away and the staff was super friendly so I ended up getting shoes from there. Lots of colors to choose from and a selection of their go to lines. The shoes seem expensive but with discounts and store "points" they're really a great value as they are as much a part of Italian craftsmanship as Zegna, Prada, etc... I gave the shoes as a gift to my brother a week before Christmas, he didn't like the fit so I tried to return them on December 19th, they were delivered on December 4th but I wasn't allowed to. For the price point you would think this would be a high quality shoe, but I was surely wrong. The shoes was fully creased by 1 week of wear and the leather will start peeling within your first or second month. Their customer service team is responsive but very useless and will only try to persuade you to buy more shoes, rather than being understanding and fixing the issue at hand. Removed the first star because the store rep who worked with me wasn't competent. When he couldn't find the color I wanted in my size, he gave me what he said was the women's equivalent--which was extremely large, and to my eye had a wider profile. Thankfully another rep mentioned to mine that he had given me the women's equivalent of a larger size , and smartly suggested trying a men's in my size in another color. Also, when I asked about the brand, my rep told me that it was was based in Italy: the shoes are made there but the owners are from the US. Very rough shoes, tough to break in, shoes have no cushion on insoles or any kind of heel cushion. Service is a lot to be desired, I was given old dirty box for my brand new Capri shoes. I placed order 12380551 on 6/11. I have not received my order. When I checked on the status of the order the GoBolt system said there was problem with access to my address. Upon further investigation with customer service it was confirmed that the driver tried to deliver my package to a service door at my address. This is concerning and confusing as I live in an apt building that has a well lit glass enclosed lobby with a security guard post as well as a intercom system. Further investigation revealed that the package delivery was attempted around 1am which is also quite alarming. Although I was able to get some information from a live representative follow up attempts have been unsuccessful. Getting through on the customer service phone number has been inconsistent. Call the store on Soho ha been non-existent. This is all unacceptable considering this company has my hard earned money and I don't have my sneakers yet. Very pleasant experience at this soho shoe store. The sneakers are similar to the common projects but offers sizes for that gender neutral individual. While it took a while to confirm they were open (their phone system was down and not working), it was easier once I connected with their online customer support. Seamless online-to-offline customer service had me able to exchange the pair of sneakers I bought for my brother (I give great holiday gifts) for the right size. They do run a little large, so it pays to try before buying. Still, if you do have to buy them online...know that their exchange/return process is painless. If you're a fan of shoes that are built to last longer than one season on NYC's streets, you should get familiar with Koio. Along the same lines as Common Projects in the minimalist sneaker arena, they've got a sleek silhouette and no discernible branding if you're opposed to free promotion of the swoosh or three stripes. They're designed locally and made in Italy, and you can really tell the difference between these and something like a Stan Smith. There's a lot more weight to them, takes some time to break in because they're real leather, and the Margom sole ensures you won't wear through them in three months. For all the brands trying to achieve the same look and feel of a Common Project sneaker, I gotta say they probably come the closest. They also cost about $150 less than CPs, so a little less offensively priced if you're not willing to plunk down $415 for the higher priced alternative. read more

I found the brand Koio online after looking at very high priced premium leather shoe brands. Koio sneakers are elegant and great price point for the quality. However I called the store previously to speak to an employee named Danny to inquire about shoes they had in stock. I was planning to drive an hour and purchase these shoes after trying them on. He was so great on the phone and I had called early in the day and an hour before arrival for him to hold the shoes. Would you believe that after not responding the first time he called me back to make sure everything was ok. When I arrived at the store he helped me right away and had both sizes waiting. Before purchasing the shoes as a big sneaker head I noticed some markings on the shoes typically you see when shipping from warehouse to show room. Danny cleaned off any small markings to calm my OCD. I am a barber by trade and I have never seen the level of service for a pair of decently priced shoes. I was sold. A guaranteed customer of the brand for life. The other gentleman working on sunday was also extremely helpful. To see this level of service in NYC where lets be honest retail may not be the most approachable. Danny is awesome, and will be back gladly to purchase more sneakers! No BS: this store is awesome, Claudia was awesome, the shoes are awesome. The store itself is small but cozy and doesn't have ALL of the products that the company offers - but what the store DOES have is a collection of their best models and, of course, the ability to order what they do not carry. The staff is incredible... Claudia was incredibly warm and made my girlfriend and me feel welcomed. She informed us on the heritage of the company and the craft and care that goes into making each pair of Italian-made sneakers. She was extremely personable and talked to us about the city (we are visiting from Cali!): where to eat and drink, where to shop, where to explore etc. Claudia helped us with the sizing and brought out plenty of options. We ended up getting two pairs of the low tops! We wore them out of the store and couldn't be happier. We went to brunch right after and got two compliments on them! I bought a pair of triple white sneakers. The appearance is great, but the right shoe is significantly smaller than the left shoe, to the point that it is injuring my foot and I can't wear the shoes. I tried the regular shoe stretching techniques and the difference is so much that it is still not wearable. I can't even tighten the laces on the right one, so they even look different when I wear them. I went back to the store but the staff were not very helpful.
