Not only did Frank give me five pairs, but he actually put them in an order that would give me the best idea of what to look for in fit and feel. We quickly got down to two pair, and he explained the differences between the two, both short-term and long-term. There was zero pressure, zero pushing, just honest feedback. One pair was twice as much as the other, but he didn't push anything either way. (I went with the less expensive pair -- cheaper is not the right word, because they are excellent quality.) Not only that, he offered to have them hemmed right there on the spot. Within 45 minutes of walking in the door, not only did I have a new pair of jeans, but tailored and walked out the door with my new jeans. As for the jeans? They're great. I went with a pair that Brooklyn Denim made and I absolutely love them. Frank also made a profile for me and saved the info of the other pair that I liked in case I want to order those at a later date. Because I don't live in town, it's a great resource. I really can't recommend Brooklyn Denim enough.

I would say if you're a sneaker head, this is the place for you. Also, you should follow them on Instagram so you can see what they have to offer. I'm unsure about whether they give a good return when you sell sneakers to them, but I know they give both store credit and cash for sneakers. They also do trades for different sneakers, too. I walked in looking for Dansko shoes to try on and had heard they had a huge selection. Turns out they have a huge selection of everything! Uggs, Born, Mephisto and more. All those top brands that are especially soothing to the feet. Daniel was so helpful in trying on different sizes and types of Dansko shoes, and even after paying, he insisted I try on another size instead just "to be sure" the one I got was right. We bought a shoe that was shown $70 on the tag, but rung up $80. We tried to do a return repurchase to get the correct price but it took 10+ minutes to get it resolved. I ordered a leather jacket that didn't fit due to their very slim "athletic" cut. When I contacted customer service, I was met mostly with explanations about policies and restocking fees tied to their warehouse sale rather than real help. After multiple emails and escalation, a manager eventually stepped in. Unfortunately, the replacement jacket arrived in terrible condition. The jacket was basically thrown into a small box with no protective packaging, and the shipping box looked like it had been kicked across the country. This was the replacement for a jacket I had carefully returned in its original box with hanger and proper packaging. For a brand that markets itself as a premium boot and leather company, the quality control and customer experience were far below expectations. First impressions matter. Sadly, this experience didn't make me want to do business with Thursday Boot Company again.
