Kerone was 5 stars from the phone call, to my arrival at 5:30pm (they close at 6pm), to my check out @after 7pm!.. to loading my car (every dumbbell & kettlebell they have), trx bands and a power plate (I'm opening another fitness studio), to waving me off @close to 8pm. Bought the Stages SC3 spinning bike last week recommended by Rob. Like Rob said... I will enjoy the bike. It's a bit expensive but it's worth it. Riding this bike is like riding my Cervelo road bike on the road. Very natural and all the components are very smooth and quite. I can ride this Stages SC3 for hours unlike my old cycleops trainer. Been spinning everyday at least an hour a day. Very happy with this spinning bike! thank you again Rob and Nigel! You guys are very helpful! Oh... almost forgot! As the former fitness director of the YWCA which was within 2 blocks of Gym Source in mid town NYC I had a very good relationship with Gym Source. I was very strong on Cybex equipment and Gym Source was well equipped. But they also had everything a quality gym like the YW would need for it's members. I am VERY unhappy with GymSourse. My elliptical is not working again. For some reason I paid for two visits!!! One visit when the repair guy came in with the parts my machine did not even need. So another repair person had to come back. Meanwhile I was charged for two visits, that is over $420.00!!!!! This is outrageous. Not to mention that now my machine is not working again!!! At the last visit the service person said I still did not need some cables; now it seems I do need them. Therefore, he does not put them in in April only to come back in December to put them in. However now it is costing me additional $300-400!!! Therefore in 9 months I am paying almost $1,000.00 on top of the fact that machine is out of order for prolonged periods of time!!!!! Every time the machine is not functioning I have to wait for a week for an appointment to assess the problem then another 2-3 weeks to put in parts!!!!!! The girl on the phone is very nice; the service guys who come out are also very nice. But that does not resolve the fact that my machine is once again not working and I paid half the worth of the machine to continue repairing it!!! Please help!!! I am putting this review on Yelp. my experience with gym source was awesome! from the start when i met Nigel in the store till the delivery it went smooth. Nigel is very knowledgeable and can help you choose the right equipment, the selection is huge so you can find whatever you need form home gym to a real pro gym. i built a nice gym to my office employees and every one that see it loosing his mind, its beautiful and answer every needs they may have. the prices are very good and there is always some sale going on. the delivery was very good and they assembled every thing correctly and placed in the right place; ohh i forgot to mention that they had to carry it to a second floor walk and didn't complain a bit! the guys worked hard, took their time making sure everything is working and in the right place. i would use again and highly recommend. read more

We originally bought our universal gym from Gym Source. Fine. However, when we moved, we hired them to take down and set it up in our new home. Take down was $350. Set up was $425. VERY DIFFICULT to schedule them to set up. Took WEEKS. THEN, when it was set up, the cables had slack and rubbed against each other. Impossible to get FRANK to schedule them to fix the issue. Had to hire GYM SOLUTION (845-605-1210) to come fix it. Called FRANK at GYM SOURCE to ask for a refund of his work. He said he would call me back. Now he doesn't pick-up the phone and doesn't call me back. GYM SOURCE = RIP-OFF!! read more

BEWARE!!! I purchased my treadmill and in 6 months after install needed repair. I had a horrible time getting anyone on the phone and to respond. When I finally did get techs to come here they misdiagnosed the problem and it took forever to get parts. They then put it back together 3 different times improperly over 2 months! Missing nuts and bolts, the heavy machine installed on top of the power cord, wires left loosely unattached and improperly installed that I was later told was a fire hazard as it was near the motor. One phone call to the manufacturer of the machine and I got another repair team here ASAP, Gym Tech. Within a week I had all new parts, and repairs done efficiently and effectively that Gym Source could not seem to get, in fact made worse with each visit, over months! read more

Nigel provided outstanding customer service; he was curious to see that the mat was listed online but not on the store. HORRID! Stupid, arrogant, abusive salespeople and service department. Honestly it may rate as my WORST Customer Service experience ever. They missed their appointment, brought the wrong item when they did make the delivery, tried to deliver the right item another day (although I had cancelled the order in disgust) and then didn't refund the delivery charges! When I complained they credited it without the tax. Only after another call did I get a full refund. OMG! Just the pits. Go somewhere else. They deserve negative stars. read more
