As a fan of a small market team (go Marlins!) I was really hopeful that the MLB store would have a good selection of gear that I normally wouldn't be able to get in my home town of Los Angeles. While I definitely did see more than I'm used to, this store definitely still caters to the larger teams (Dodgers, Yankees, Padres, etc). And I don't personally blame them, but I was definitely a bit disappointed. I appreciate that the ground/top floor has areas broken out by teams so you are able to quickly find and browse jerseys and other gear for your favorite team easily. It's easy to navigate around and while they have a large selection, it doesn't feel cramped. Downs stairs they have a bit more 'fun' inventory such as city connect jerseys, game used balls/bats/bases, and even a jersey customization area. However, if you're looking to get any/all jerseys customized, you will be disappointed. For example I wanted to get a custom City Connect Dodgers jersey, but they said they could only to the blue lettering on a white jersey. Obviously this makes sense since they'd have to have a massive inventory to accommodate all team jersey options, but once again I just wanted to point that out in case you were thinking you were going to be able to get anything your heart desired. Prices are basically the same as the online MLB store (minus shipping where applicable) which is good. Staff was friendly and helpful. In all, while I wasn't able to find/buy everything I was hoping to, I was still really impressed by the store and had a wonderful visit. I definitely hope to swing by the next time I am in NYC to see if they have any new options.

Two levels great selection. They have minor league team items as well items for all MLB teams. I am a Mets fan went so I went in an asked if they had a Pete Alonso Orioles shirt. They said I can get a custom jersey made. He signed with the orioles a month ago so I assumed they would have e updated apparel.

    Cool store!

Great selection of pricey MLB items right in the heart of Yankee country. The staff is very helpful and offers to help versus you having to find someone which is refreshing. We are Oakland A's fan so it was special to see a hat that still says Oakland. If you don't understand what I mean, look up John Fisher and his antics on the move out of Oakland. Thank you MLB store!

I randomly stumbled upon this store. Apparently, this place opened in 2020 and was the first official MLB retail store. Being a baseball fan for over 30 years, I decided to stop in. It is a fairly large store and is two floors. Essentially, this is a great place to go if you are looking for baseball apparel in person. They offer apparel for all teams, with a wider stock of more popular ones like the Yankees and Dodgers of course. If you're looking for sporting equipment, this is not the place - go to Dick's Sporting Goods. It's mostly just clothing. They had a small memorabilia section on display but it was nothing too impressive. There is also a person takes orders for customized jerseys. I am sure everything here is also on sale on the MLB website, but it was still nice to check out all the merchandise in person.

If you are a baseball fanatic, this store needs to be added to your list of place to visit. We were here mainly for our Yankee gear. Before we ended up here we just bought a few things from the Yankee Store at the Stadium. This is their flagship location and they have a huge selection of all the teams from women, mens, kids and accessories. The service here was great as everyone we encountered was very helpful and friendly. This store is huge with not only the main upper level but there is also a lower level. We always have fun browsing and we never leave this store empty handed lol. Even if you don't plan on purchasing anything, it's a fun store to walk thru and browse.

This store is a fun stop. Two floors. Since there are 30 teams to cover, it is hard to make sure there's stuff for every team. Each team gets a small section. Definitely nothing like the teams gift shops at their stadium. Two floors. There are a lot of Yankee and Mets product because it is in New York. Fun Fact: a lot of post season gear, even for those eliminated!

I was really excited to come shop here but was just a teeny tiny bit let down after my visit today. First of all, it was hot inside! Not sure if it's a normal thing or AC was broken. It was not much of a fun experience to try on all the hoodies I had been eyeing! I recommend following their Instagram to get an idea of what's in stock. I liked their exclusive MLB NYC stuff - hoodies, tees, magnets, keychains, pens, etc. Unfortunately the prices are not shown on Instagram and they do not have an online shop. Specifically the exclusive MLB NYC pullovers / hoodies start at $100! More expensive than I thought but I still bought it :) Some of the shirts start at $30-40. One staff member allowed me to try on a pullover. Apparently you're not allowed to put the hood part of a hoodie on your head though. I do agree with some of the other reviews that the layout of the store makes it hard to find your team. It's organized by designs/jerseys/shirts instead of having it organized by team. I did still enjoy browsing around at the large variety of clothing. I'd recommend any MLB fan make a visit if you want a unique NYC souvenir!

A baseball fans paradise. They have every jersey, t shirt or cap from every 30 teams. There's a lot of other keepsakes and collectibles. My problem being a big and tall there was nothing there for me.

Pro baseball lover's dream, 2 stories of MLB goodness in the heart of Manhattan. Hats, shirts, socks, keychains, jerseys galore...and more!Minor league teams too. If it's US Major league baseball related, they have it. Son bought a unique Mets hat for $44.99 (no tax) w his own hard-earned money. Note, they're NOT affiliated w mlbstore.com (owned by Fanatics), so no price matching or coupon honoring. Limited selection of markdowns on the bottom floor.

For baseball fans, the MLB Flagship Store is worth attending. Conveniently located across the street from Radio City Music Hall, it's two levels with a multitude of merchandise organized by item type, not by team. Maybe not the biggest selection of stuff just for your team and I saw a few shirts that seemed a tad overpriced, but it's still cool to browse and take in what's available. Want a $30,000 used base from a World Series? Look no further! There are several employees on the roster, and they seem eager to assist. I overheard a customer ask about a restroom, and there's no bathroom for the public, just FYI. Play ball!

Tonight l had another great experience at Paragon thanks to the sensitivity and good nature of Mike R in the upstairs shoe and boot department. As a rule, my 88-year old husband doesn't like to buy himself new clothes. But after what feels like weeks in this polar vortex, with him stubbornly trudging and slipping through the snow in old rubber rain boots and a cane, l stopped hinting and put my foot down: we were going to buy him some warm, waterproof boots with cleats. Knowing that he might only put up with one outing, I decided to scout Paragon on my own, first. Mike R. advised me he had only one style of boot that fit what l was looking for and not many sizes left. When he came back with a size in the ballpark, l asked if he could hold it for me. Mike was blunt: he couldn't do any 24-hour holds with the stock so low, but he could hold it for two hours. I thanked him, explaining that if l bought these and presented them to my husband as a done deal he would never even try them on. But we'd be back, within the hour. When we arrived on the floor, Mike picked right up on the dynamic: this was not a customer for a hard sell. And so Mike was the soul of discretion. He kept a low profile, talking quietly and only to me and showed up just often enough to be helpful. He was patient, kind and l got the feeling he was enjoying the challenge of selling without ever even connecting with the guy trying on the boots. And Mike's strategy worked! We made the transition from my husband's original reaction to the only boots in his size ("l hate them!") to walking out with four pairs of socks and that same pair of warm, waterproof boots with cleats. I am deeply grateful to and frankly in awe of Mike R, Paragon boots department. Thank you!

Douglas was very helpful in showing me the selection and discussing the shoes specs, including Adidas and Asics. However, at several points our conversation was rudely interrupted by Mike R who appears to be his supervisor, raising his voice (his voice carries) and ordering Douglas around while we were discussing my training plan. I think these interruptions were inappropriate while Douglas was providing his advice. In the end, I did not buy shoes because I was annoyed.

The man that came over then just immediately asked what shoes do I want to try on. I mentioned that I really liked the Triumph 21s and was looking for a better replacement since the newer versions all had too much cushion for me. He then started to get aggressive when I told him 3 shoes I was interested in for no reason and was getting upset that I didn't know the exact names off the top of my head and had to pull my phone out to check. He then said alright if you don't need my help then just tell me what you want after I told him I wasn't interested in trying on the new Triumph shoes that came out. I told him no... I wanted his input just not those shoes as they have a ton of cushion. He then got me two pairs of shoes, dropped them off, and then left to see other customers without checking in on me after that. I had to wave down another staff member to ask what other colorways were available. I then saw this same worker getting upset at a fellow colleague for helping another customer out that was asking for assistance. He was upset and didn't say why and just walked away pissed off again. I didn't want to give this place my business after seeing how this employee treated me and other members of the staff so I left and bought my shoes elsewhere. This is store is a great place to try on running shoes but apparently just SUPER hit or miss on who gets assigned to help you out. 2 stars for the nice woman and letting me try on at least some of the shoes I was interested in.
