I called them up to price and schedule a windshield replacement. Joe was very nice and gave me a really good deal that included lifetime leak (assuring me this is a rare case anyway) and rock chip repair. When I got there Joe was the same nice guy as he was on the phone and gracious to be of service. The waiting area is clean and cool (summertime) and had a TV to preoccupy your waiting time if you don't otherwise have a smart phone to do the same. The windshield replacement took an hour (like he said it would). There was an older gentleman that came inside and spoke briefly to me, then left out proclaiming his 50 years of military service. I'm not sure if that was an owner or not but it was slightly uncomfortable. I do recommend this establishment to anyone needing glass repair/replacement or tinting. The weather changed, and unfortunately I must have not noticed the small crack in my windshield..and it became a two foot crack. Techna glass had competitive prices, great customer service, was readily available for repair, and did a great job replacing my windshield. It comes with a 1 year warranty too. I called to inquire about repairing rear defroster grids on back glass. The guy being paid to answer their phones was clueless. He didn't know, bumbled around, then finally said to just come by. When I asked where in Milford they were located, again he was clueless. Well from talking to my sister your company did schedule it on several occasions but never showed up at work. We work for General Motors and come in contact with hundreds of co-workers. But for your information sir she received a 25 dollar Applebee's gift card and she doesn't even eat there. As far as going to franklin it is because your service techs didn't due their job as they planned and put her in a bind having to have someone pick her up and take her to work. national company that can be very hard to get a live person to respond. Everything has to be completed out of their Utah office or online. I changed emails and could not find original quote, second quote was almost $100 cheaper than the first quote( which I later found) . They do match lower quotes from glass company in Colerain, that was over $100 lower than their lowest quote. final price was over $200 cheaper than the first quote. the receipt did not include price paid. no drop box for keys so leaving vehicle can be difficult. work was completed on time and appears to be good job. final rating is combination of good work but difficult customer service read more

We want to thank the guys at Techna glass on old 28 in Milford for replacing our front windshield on our car. We called one day it was replaced by 9 AM the next in their shop. But that might not always happen that way but it was for us.They even fix the problem we had from the last time we had the windshield replaced (some other company)because the rain sensor on the windshield wasn't working properly and they fixed it. I had been driving around with a cracked winshield for over a year... until last week when the weather got colder and the crack sprouted a new branch. So I decided I had to get the windshield replaced. I have a 2013 Scion XD. I got quotes from 3 places: Safelite, Mel's Autoglass and Technaglass. Safelite wanted about $280, Mel's wanted $304. So I called Technaglass, based upon the reviews here on Yelp. A very nice man named Joe (who I later found out was the owner), answered the phone. He quoted me a price of $210 with a Lifetime warranty on any leaks and Lifetime FREE chip repair. I said SOLD! I made an appointment for the next morning, a Saturday at 11am. I arrived at the shop around 10:55 and was promptly greeted by Joe. There was 2-3 cars ahead of me, so there was a bit of a wait. My car was pulled in the garage around 11:45... took about 20 mins. While I was there, I asked Joe about windshield wipers that were on special (Kings Toyota told me I needed mine replaced). Joe said "Let me check them first-- I don't want to sell you something you don't need." THIS IS HUGE because even in 2015, car repair places STILL try to take advantage of females who they presume don't know what is happening on their vehicle. Joe came back and said that I didn't need to replace them right now-- could wait another month or so. He also apologized that he didn't have the right size blade for my passenger side.
