At home service is so convenient! She got me scheduled for the next week, my choice of day, but I got the impression I could have done it even sooner. Chris came out, & did the repair. He was personable, explained the process, & made me feel confident he was the man for the job (he was!). It took him about an hour, then he was on his way, allowing space for the tech to calibrate the windshield. Rob was the one to perform the calibration. I really appreciate that he went above, & beyond to take my car to the shop to calibrate there versus on site, which had sub-par conditions (not Mel's fault at all, of course). I called Jack's Glass in Covington and Jason answered the phone, super helpful and found the way to yes I can help you. Thankfully, any windshield from 1993-1998 for a BMW 3 Series (E36) will work for my vehicle. Just to be sure, Jason had me come to his shop this past Friday on 27 March 2026 for a dry run to be sure the windshield would work and scheduled me for Monday the 30th at 0800 when we realized it would. The technician was done by 0845 and I was on my way at 0900 after letting the sealer set for 15 minutes, quality, service and value were top notch, thanks again Jason! I went here around noon to look at the place, meet the owner and ask few more questions. Ryan is very nice and patient in show me everything. I was able to get the appointment on the same day in the afternoon. Ryan did majority of the work, later his father came back also helped on the back window. I wait there, they have a nice waiting room with TV and drink and also some free gift fro solarFx. They use SolarFx, i eventually go with 20% ceramic film. Their price is also reasonable. Ryan finished the job in about one and half hour. Looks great! He also spend time to explain and give me some reminder. I felt the money is well spent. And after i came home, husband is also impressed with the work. I'm going to convince him to tint his front two windows of his new Jeep Grand Cherokee!
