I have USAA for my insurance and they have a contract with Safelite, but Safelite won't replace glass on older vehicles, thanks Safelite... So, I was on my own to find another company that Safelite has in their network for my 1997 BMW. I called Jack's Glass in Covington and Jason answered the phone, super helpful and found the way to yes I can help you. Thankfully, any windshield from 1993-1998 for a BMW 3 Series (E36) will work for my vehicle. Just to be sure, Jason had me come to his shop this past Friday on 27 March 2026 for a dry run to be sure the windshield would work and scheduled me for Monday the 30th at 0800 when we realized it would. The technician was done by 0845 and I was on my way at 0900 after letting the sealer set for 15 minutes, quality, service and value were top notch, thanks again Jason! Have to give a failing grade. Without my authorization he replaced my rear Chevy truck glass with a knock off cheap looking ford replacement glass. I believe he did this to profit from the insurance claim. read more

There was an accident at my house and a few of the old single pane windows in my front door got broken out along with some of the wood in between. After getting a couple quotes from other companies to replace the door at $5-7k, my boss referred these guys to me as they had replaced some smaller glass panes for him for a very good price. Robbie and Ryan came down to my house, had some fantastic conversations while they were taking some measurements, took the door and had it back in about an hour! It looks 100x better than it did even when it was whole with much sturdier glass and for the exact price they quoted me (SIGNIFICANTLY less than the door replacement quotes). Very nice ppl. Most reasonable price I found while shopping for a passenger right side window for my 2011 Hyundai Sonata. Very quick and he even cleaned up the last guys work who left so much glass inside my door panel my right passenger window barely rolled up or down. Now it's back to working very well. Wrong glass 1st time craked down whole window. 2nd window wrong window making the computer in my car shut down. Got dealer letter stating wrong glass 2nd time. Owner won't do a thing. Look at my Google review for whole story. This crap glass costs me now more than dealer glass in time dealing with this nonsense. Save your cash go to dealer. Would NOT reccomed to worst enemy!! I've only had one experience with Jack's Glass but it was a good one. My husband needed to have his windshield replaced and it was covered by our insurance. You can't really go wrong with free! The person who I spoke with on the phone was very friendly and helpful. I made an appointment right away and we didn't have to go anywhere. They came to us! The guy that fixed it was really nice also, and his work was fast but good. I don't really have anyone to compare them to, but I'd definitely use them again! read more

We needed the mirror in our bathroom replaced because of a large crack, and a friend of ours recommended Jack's. We called and unfortunately had to schedule pretty far in advance, but it definitely ended up being worth it. The mirror on my VW GTI broke off with no explanation of why. No accident or abuse but the bracket delaminated from the glass. The tech explained that the windshields come with the bracket already attached at the factory so his glue may or may not work. He said we have a 50% chance but for $5 he will give it a try. He spent at least 20 minutes putting it on and I returned the next day for him to put the mirror back on after adhesive cured. So far so good and even if it comes off this service is as good as I have had almost anywhere I can think of. Thanks read more

Stay clear of this place, The tube of adhesive just about sprang my hand trying to get it to come out of the tube. It set up before I could get the windshield in the vehicle now I have leaks . HAVE TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN. read more

I have used jacks glass on 3 separate occasions. Every time their service was quick and affordable. They even saved my park pass and oil change stickers for me from my windshield. If you are getting a car window replaced, they will definitely put you at the top of the line. If you are getting a picture framing glass or a household window pane replaced, you order will not receive top priority. My most recent experience was awful. After placing an order on Friday, I was promised the work would be ready for pick up on Monday. However, the manager made a conscious decision to push my order back regardless of my promised deadline. After picking up the pieces a day late, only one piece was cut to specification. Returning an hour later for recut, I was promised it would be done in two hours. If a mistake is made, it should be reversed immediately and not forcing the customer to wait for a mistake the business made. I choose to sit in the waiting room in which service was fulfilled in twenty minutes. The service technician was apologetic and friendly. The floor manager was rude and apathetic to my order and deadline. I do not recommend giving that particular Jack's Glass franchise business as there are cheaper, faster and friendlier independent companies in the tri-state area. read more
