I'll have to break my review up into two parts. As far as the replacement of several window panes in our home, I have no issues. Everything seems to have been completed correctly. Unfortunately, our home is under renovation, so when I returned after the glass work I found a set of blinds laying on the floor broken. When I asked Frank's about this, they acknowledged that it broke as they were "lowering the blinds," but blamed it on being "sun-dried" and refused to pay for it. Nor will they provide their insurance info. We just purchased the home and the home inspection found no issues with the blinds, and we have raised and lowered them several times since purchasing the home, so their excuse seems to be nothing more than a method for dodging responsibility (despite the acknowledgement that they broke it). They then tried to tell me that they're not responsible for window treatments. That's all well and good, but we were never told this and it was not on any work order we were provided. I would caution you against using this company, not because of poor workmanship, but because of poor ethics. Luckily, I only lost a set of blinds. You might end up losing a lot more. read more

I ordered a glass tabletop from Frank's. It was ready by the time they said it would be. When I got the glass top home, I realized I had measured my table wrong (oops!). I called Franks and they said they would cut it down, free of charge. I took the tabletop there thinking I was going to have to leave it there and pick it up in another week, but no, they did it while I waited! Such a huge timesaver! It only took him about 10 minutes to do it for me. So happy I didn't have to drive the 30 minutes back to pick it back up. read more

We contacted Franks to have an estimate on fixing some windows. They sent a technician on a different day than we were told. Luckily we were home. After a week, we had not heard from them. I called and was told they couldn't find the estimate and when I told them our window type, I was told they do not fix that brand of window. It would have been nice to know that up front. read more

After 3 mistakes they got my order right, which was a simple 6 inch by 2 foot rectangle window pane- I even left one with them so that they could copy it!..friendly though. They offered me a free can of glass cleaner but no refund. read more

I have a home which is less then 3 years old. Frank's is the company which does the installs for the builder. I have had them in my home 3 times fixing issues, some of which were caused by them. This week I had the pleasure of their workmanship again. I say pleasure with sarcasm. I was home, but in another room. Half way through the job, I peeked my head in, to find them not there. They were in their truck in the driveway, I assume having lunch. There is nothing wrong with that, but I also discovered they had put a t.v. on in the room they were working in. They were not smart enough to turn it off before stopping for lunch. Maybe that explains why the door is hung crooked, and water leaks all over the floor. They seem too busy to fix it...I will need to wait till next week. I do not trust their ability to do the job properly, so I will pay someone else to do it correctly. read more

I would highly recommend Frank's glass; they were wonderful to work with. I used them a few years ago to do a shower enclosure and was very pleased with the quality of their produce and the price. We recently built a new home and had them do 3 shower doors and mirrors in an exercise room. Despite my builders recommendation to use another company, I wanted to use Frank's Glass again since they did such a great job last time. The sales rep was so professional. His experience and knowledge were evident as he asked thoughtful questions to make sure we were aware of our options and to ensure that we were getting exactly what we wanted. Franks was flexible in working with the builders schedule and everything was installed perfectly. Franks bid was SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the bid we received from the company my builder recommended. I will alway return to Frank's if I need anything else for our new home and would highly recommend them to any one. They are a company with knowledgable employees and they care about doing the job right which is hard to find these days. Their prices exceptional as well! I had a small crack in my windshield that caused it to need to be repaired. I called Frank's Glass and have been sorry ever since. They showed up 90 min late on the first appointment causing me to have to leave a meeting to tend to the repairman. He said he repaired the windshield and left. The next day it rained and my auto lights wouldn't turn off. I called Frank's. Fast forward 2 weeks, and they had been out to see my car 3 more times (4 total trips) and couldn't figure out how to fix it. The General Manager, Russ, was uncooperative and said it was an issue with my car because his technician never messes up. At this point, I had to take it to the dealership to get repaired. I got him to agree to pay for the dealership's repair if it was their fault. Guess who ended up paying? Russ and Frank's Glass. The technician had forgotten to attach a cord in the rear view mirror to the windshield piece. To make matters worse, I discovered that it wasn't glass that had fallen in to my steering wheel, but the steering wheel boot had actually been broken. Since I'd seen shards of glass on my carpet, I thought one had fallen into the steering wheel crevice and been causing the rubbing noise. I've been trying for a month now to get Russ to admit that this was caused by the repair. I'm certain the break occurred during the repair given when the noise started. I also have confirmation that this steering wheel problem was caused by something too heavy (item or person) using the steering wheel for support vs. it wearing out and coincidentally breaking. Frank's position is that it has never happened before so it can't possibly have happened now. This was also their stance on why my auto lights wouldn't turn off. This place doesn't stand by their work and is as far as you can get from professional service. I have a broken steering wheel and am stuck with it because of what they did. read more

Back in April 2018 I had a home window glass replaced and at that time the repair man stated that I had a broken part. It was my understanding that he was going to order the part and call when it came in. I called to check to see if the part ever came in since I didn't hear from them and that was on May 30th 2018 a month later. The young lady answering the phone stated that there was nothing order and nothing in the notes. She made another appointment on June 6th for someone to come back out and see what was needed. I took off work that day because they couldn't give me a time that they would be out and no one ever showed up. So I called back on the 7th to see why they didn't come. The young lady said that my order was on someone's desk and that she would find out what happened and call me back. As of this writing date no one has called me back. I would never recommend this company nor would I ever use this company and I am contacting someone else to take care of this problem. read more
