Paid to have an early appointment and they called me about 8:30 that they were on their way. My tech Zach, kept me Informed as he was delayed with some flooding but he called me quick and I was able to let him know that his gps was wrong and the main rd was open. Was maybe late 15 minutes but kept me informed. Showed up and let me know what was going to happen, finished a bit early and then let me know what next steps were. Awful! Satellite broke the new window twice! I had left work to drop off the window and they called me 10min after I had came back to work after a colleague dropped me off to tell me to pick my car back up ad the window was damaged. You would think they would inspect the product before you drop your vehicle off for a scheduled appt. The next day the technician came to my vehicle this time and dropped the window on the ground and left my vehicle in a parking lot with no windshield, unlocked, and the hood popped with his tools everywhere and parts to my car laying around.. Worst company to deal with due to not being able to speak to a physical person when dealing with glass claims. Usually no response via email or answers only once a day. Never been to a place that does not have some kind of phone line to talk to a representative to answer any confusion or questions I might have in regards to glass repairs. No communication causes a hold up at the repair facility to release the car even if repairs have been completed. Would not recommend to anyone read more

I dropped my vehicle off well before 9:30am as requested, at drop off the receptionist was very emphatic that last pick up was at 4:45 pm and they close at 5:00 pm. I was promised updates on the progress throughout the day. I did not receive any communication about my vehicle, so at 4:10pm I texted Safelite. They said my vehicle was done. I arrived at the shop at 4:45 pm to find my vehicle was not only not done but had just started. The receptionist was very dismissive and simply said it'll will be done before they leave and I can wait in the lobby. The service has been terrible with no communication and an extra hour added to my day. Worst of all, I am concerned about the quality of my job asI am getting the let's hurry up and get out of here service. For starters the technician was very rude. He didn't greet me upon seeing me, he just starts looking at the car and barely acknowledged I was there. But he did his job so I was like whatever. Well a few weeks later I realized there was a leak on my driver side. Turns out the technician half ass out the windshield in, and this was confirmed by the new technician. I asked that the manager call me and it took him over a week to get back to me. He left a message that clearly gave me the impression. He did t really care. They couldn't get me in for a week and then after rearranging my schedule to accommodate them I got a call the morning they were to do the repair; they didn't have the black rubber rim and would try to get to me in the afternoon. When making my appointment I was asked by Safelite Florence (unsolicited) if I would like them to do the safety camera calibration. I asked if they had the right equipment and did they know how to do it. They responded 'yes'. After installing the windshield the installer spent about 15 minutes trying to calibrate the camera and ultimately gave up saying they could not get the camera calibrated. The major problem was they sent me on my way with errors and warnings appearing all over the dashboard because the particular safety equipment was not working; as a result of what they had done to the board computer. Telling me I would need to see a dealer. I had to then take it to the dealer to get the mess they created corrected. It took the dealer a couple of hours to reset the on board computer and get everything back in order. Was advised that Safelite had cleared out all the calibration rather then re-calibrate the camera; leaving the safety equipment useless. My advice is DO NOT let these people calibrate your safety equipment like the lane departure and collision avoidance camera. DO NOT LET THEM HOOK ANYTHING UP TO YOUR ON BOARD COMPUTER. THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. In my case I had to deal with the serious problem Safelite Autoglass created in my car. This saga began at 8AM and finally ended at around 4:30pm; a whole day of my time spent on addressing the mess Safelite in Florence created. I don't think I will ever go back to Safelite. For them to uncalibrate the equipment and then leave critical safety features not working is inexcusable and speaks to their quality control. The dealer said it would have been better for Safelite Florence to have never touched the on board computer; at least the equipment would have still been working since the camera is typically not disconnected from the car during the windshield install and as such the settings are saved. Safelite going into the on board computer when they did not know what they were doing or perhaps disconnecting the camera, cleared out those settings and left the safety equipment useless. Worse; it was put on me to go get it fixed. Safelite Florence could not have cared less. read more
