Excellent experience with Safelite! I really can't say enough about the service I received from the Eastgate location. My daughter's back window was busted out by a snow plow and Safelite made the process incredibly easy on me for replacement. The communication from start to finish was professional, quick and left no stone unturned. Originally, they were going to come to my office to replace the window but due to the cold weather, we had to adjust and bring the car to them. With the change, Safelite was considerate of my schedule and made sure to accommodate my needs. Everyone from the office staff to the technician were very polite and helpful. After finishing the repair, the technician came out to speak with me and informed me of everything he had done and what I should and should not do over the next few days to ensure there is no issues with the glass. Safelite put in a defective window, last 5 inches of the total window objects are distorted. Rearview mirror fell off before I pulled out of the parking lot i'm picking up my car. Technician tried to convince me that this is the way it is and that aftermarket product just don't pull on the mirror too hard. You tap lightly in the mirror falls off. Anybody with common sense knows this is BS. read more

This is the second time I've had to use a Safelite location to fix a chipped windshield. It was easy to get an appointment here on the same day and I'm really glad I was able to. They were extremely friendly and explained everything to me. I was glad to know that they were taking care of me and that my insurance would also do the rest and all I had to literally do was just show up, have the job done, and leave. Can't say enough nice things about how friendly the employees are and just how well I felt taken care of. They were even able to show me how some of the other dings on my windshield are not repairable yet but how to keep an eye on them. Overall a good visit and glad I got everything done easily! Took my car in to get a chip fixed in my window. The technician looked at the window and said it was too small to fix and he would cancel the claim. Come to find out they did not cancel it and charged my insurance. When questioned, he "couldn't remember" what happened. Very unprofessional from the technician and the receptionist. I sent my daughter there to get her car checked there since she had a big crack in her windshield. I'm guessing it came from a rock while driving here from out of town. They were very honest and gave her a cash price versus a price with her insurance (that her deductible would wipe out). They explained that she needed to replace the windshield because the crack went to the edge and that the seal was deteriorating on the top. The manager showed her the issues on her car. The car was a 2010 Ford. She made an appointment for the next morning and they replaced it. Quality work and an excellent price - around $250. They didn't try to take advantage of her and answered all her questions. I highly recommend this location. read more

I needed the front passenger window replaced after an attempted car theft, and I was freaking out when I found that I was unexpectedly expected to work that day because the appointment was scheduled at my house. I went online and requested to reschedule for another day. tech contacted me about 40 minutes later, and after a quick chat, he made me the last appointment of his day, and arranged his schedule to meet me in the lot of work. phoned again when he pulled up and the hand off was a breeze. did a great job cleaning up all the broken glass still inside the car and he was done in an hour. very happy with the results. read more

My windshield was cracked from a dump truck a few weeks ago. It's a heated windshield with built in sensors so I needed to bring it in on my off day, with my kids. I was not looking forward to it but Mark was awesome and super accommodating. The kids and I ubered to a nearby nature center and hiked/played for 2 hours while they fixed my car. Mark had to test my windshield sensors out in the road so he just picked us up in the car. The window looks great and the whole experience was fun! We will Be back! read more

Update: I took my car to the shop for the warranty repair and the technician thoroughly inspected the installation and found a large section of the windshield was not adhering to the glass which was causing road/wind noise. The technician took time to show me the details and did a very nice job reinstalling the window. No more wind noise. Has not rained since the repair but suspect it is fine now. If I have a future need for a windshield replacement, I'll have the store do it vs the mobile truck. Thanks, Brian read more

I brought my car in for a replacement windshield. The guys in the office were so friendly and replaced my windshield in a matter of hours. When I came to pick up , the manager noticed my rear defrost cord was unattached to the rear window. He tried to fix it but couldn't because they weren't set up for those repairs without ordering parts. He went out of his way to call around to other SafeLite shops and found a scrap part for me. He then went to Home Depot for some kind of adhesive. Long story short, he fixed my defroster and didn't charge me a cent. They are the nicest men who will go out of their way to provide exceptional service. I highly recommend the Amelia Safe Lite shop. Typically not one to leave reviews but the staff here went above and beyond and they absolutely deserve all 5 stars! I came to have a small crack in my windshield filled and without being asked they searched for discounts and saved me almost $50 from the original online estimate I was given. After that crack was repaired they were cleaning my windshield and found a smaller crack that I had no idea was even there. Because I was here already I decided to have that one fixed and my grand total for both repairs was still $30 less than what my original estimate was because he took the time to find that extra discount without even being asked! I was in and out in about an hour but while waiting there was complimentary TV, coffee, water and soda. I will definitely be returning in the future for any windshield repairs and would highly recommend them to anyone needing their windshield repaired! read more

They process was quick and painless. They showed up on time and got done quickly. The only downside was the scheduling. My accident happened on Sunday morning and they didn't get someone out to fix it until Thursday morning. I wish they would have gotten to my request much sooner because we have two kids and it was my wife's car that was damaged so it just made getting around more difficult.
