We have been having problems with our wi-fi for some time now and after replacing three routers and two modems I finally acknowledged that I needed help. My IT guy for my company is out of Seattle so he was no help so I started looking for a local solution. Vince with Tech-Boy came over and spent two hours working on several different things and was great at explaining the process and what he was doing the entire time. Although he was not able to get it going to a speed I was hoping for, it was no fault of his. We were able to milk everything possible out of the Surewest DSL line and it is a huge improvement. Unfortunately where we live Comcast is not available and Wave is the biggest ripoff cable company on the face of the earth. For what I wanted would had cost me $98 on Comcast for a year and then bumps to $185 but the same setup on Wave is $225 day one. Call these Guys! Had my laptop fixed a couple days ago by one of the techs, Albert. My computer is up and running, no problems. Affordable price and it goes to people like you and me, no big corporations, and its convenient they come to your house when your available. My computer and loads of viruses cause I tried to download an app that had a bundle and my laptop would blow up with pop ups. Excellent computer repair company! A small company with A+ knowledgeable repair people! My consultant was Dean and he was an expert in computer solutions! My computer died and it turned out to be the hard drive. Dean did a complete scan to find solutions and finally found the hard drive had crashed. He picked up my computer and worked on it. Within 3 or 4 days I had the computer back home with a new hard drive and all of my programs back on it! It's like a brand new computer. I am a senior and don't know a whole lot about computers but Dean gave me tips and tricks on software and other things. If you need computer repair, don't hesitate to call Tech-Boy. I called Tech Boy because my computer wasn't recognizing my monitor and the man I spoke with said he didn't want to charge me just to come out and tell me that I needed a new monitor. Just those few minutes talking with him inspired me to keep tinkering with my monitor and I finally got it to work. I have used MANY computer tech companies in the past for our business and too many times I was left feeling over charged or with lingering computer issues that were unresolved. These guys are great! My computer had a hard drive failure. Thankfully i hade a second b/u hard drive. My tech was Albert, he came and picked up my computer same day i called, and 3 days later I had my computer back working as good as new and only a couple of months of lost data. 11/14/21. Six months ago, I had great help to remove a virus - five starts for that. I was very grateful But the tech put in a measure that prevents all new programs from running and changing needed parameters until I give it permission.. Many times as I work, I know that a pop up comes up asking if i give it permission - I have no idea what the acronyms and programs are, other than they are as I allow new programs to execute on my computer, so I am forced to say Allow to execute, otherwise I will not have my personal home programs run. This has been extremely annoying. I have no idea what these programs are if they are started by me, or if they coincide with a hacker wanting to run a program on my computer. What would you do? So I called today to have them reverse it and remove that stop gap. I have some computer knowledge and skills but these weird named programs for regular video, and photo programs and duplicate finders, etc., all have to be stopped until I say Allow. I don't know what is going on, so it might as well allow all programs to run. this is almost a daily occurrence of extreme annoyance for the last half year. IT was hard to understand exactly what he was saying as I asked questions and asked to repeat it. The accent was difficult to understand at time. So I give it a three stars for this annoyance of a half hear. Closed. I'll call tomorrow. read more

Highly recommend this company! Phone support was what I had hoped for and an appointment was quickly scheduled. One of the technicians, Vince was thoroughly successful at solving my computer issues and had the necessary weapons with him to remove the malware mucking up my computer. He left me with much more knowledge about my system and what is helpful versus harmful so that my laptop runs as smoothly as the day I bought it. I called Tech-Boy to come out and clean my computer from viruses and to set up wifi for laptops. They were on time, polite and did a great job. My computer has been running great and the wifi is awesome. Their pricing is on par for what you would expect to pay for a qualified technician.
