I was really undecided on what I wanted and Brian recommended the Kiwi Basil fruit tea and it was really good. Not a typical beverage item I see at most other places (we've definitely had our fair share). Hubs ordered the Green Apple fruit tea and it was delish. Youngest son ordered the dirty boba and my oldest ordered cookies and cream milk tea and he said it was pretty good! Atmosphere was inviting and clean. Simple decor. They have some board games available. You have the option of ordering at the kiosk or with the staff. We'll definitely be back to try different menu options. :)

They had run out of regular boba when I visited, but I gave their agar boba a try and ended up loving it just as much for its light, refreshing texture. To top it off, the Oreo dessert was perfectly moist and balanced, not too heavy, and the kind of treat you keep thinking about after you leave. Definitely a spot I'd recommend to anyone looking for a satisfying drink and a great little dessert to go with it.

Although, I didn't check the time and saw that they were closing at six so I called around 545 and asked if they're able to stay in later so I can pay for my drink and I can order on the phone and the person on the phone with me said ' yeah I can stay back till 6:15' . AsI rushed over here, my time went up due to traffic and I let her know that and she said that 'as long as I get in before 6:20 it's gonna be ok' thankfully I got here at 6:18 and as soon as I got in, she handed me my drink, and as I paid for it, she offered me a custard on the house, and I happily took the custard. I told her that I was going to see a movie and that I needed something to drink before I saw the movie and she understood and listen to me as I was talking. Definitely would recommend going here! People are very accommodating to a situation, and like I said, they never disappointed with their drinks and I can't wait to try custard pastry!

The broth was so delicious and the duck fell off the bone. Ingredients tasted so fresh. The chicken chow mein was the best chow mein I've ever eaten - nothing like the usual flavor in most Chinese restaurants, instead totally fresh tasting with a great spice taste. My wife had the Bahn Minh (?) sandwich/roll and, when she finished, said that she just wanted to start all over again. Really a great place. The restaurant itself is very attractive inside and immaculately clean and the staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. I would make a trip out here again.

The disappointment has truly set in. I've been eating at Pho ABC off and on for many years, but the…read morequality continues to decline. For years, they've been the only consistent game in town, so they've had the market cornered. Unfortunately, it feels like they've gotten comfortable. The pho noodles routinely come out stiff, and when I request my steak on the side, it often arrives brown and partially frozen--sometimes still thawing from the freezer. The broth is weak and tastes mass-produced, they skimp on the limes, and the basil has virtually no flavor. The staff is friendly, but the service often feels rushed, like they're more interested in getting you in and out than creating a memorable experience. Even after seeing the same customers for years, there's little sense of recognition or personal connection. With Tran Kitchen Vietnamese now serving traditional, flavorful Vietnamese food in town, Pho ABC really needs to wake up and step up its game. Competition is a good thing, and hopefully it pushes them to bring the quality back to where it used to be.

It was a very hot day so I wanted something nice and refreshing. The store itself looked worn and dated. Very dark inside, not every welcoming at all. There was a lot of peeling paint/dings on the walls that showed exposed drywall. The place looked dingy, not a place you would want to hang out at. The tables didn't look very clean either. I ordered the Mango Ice Tea. You could not taste the tea flavor at all. Whatever Mango syrup they used overwhelmed the whole drink. The mango also tasted very artificial. Reminded me of a juice box for a child. Definitely was underwhelming. It was just a very artificially flavor sweet drink. My sister had warned me that there were a lot better boba places in Folsom but I was already going to 99 Ranch so I wanted to give it a try.

*** Non Boba Drinker Review ***…read more If there is such a thing as a designated driver for a boba run, that would be me. I've been on countless number of trips to boba shops over the last 20 years and although I use to succumb to peer pressure early on, it's been so long now. Years since I've ordered anything. But for some reason, when I was the DD to this spot, they had a "Best Seller" menu board. My previous go-to was always taro and after they confirmed it was fresh taro -- actually, they warned me it was fresh taro because customers have something else in mind -- I succumbed. Their verbal drink descriptions were so finely tuned like a Hollywood actor, they made everything sound so good and they were right. No boba added - just their Best Seller "Taro Smash" I watched them make it and after the fist few sips, I immediately regretted not ordering the large. And since I'm such a rookie at this now, I forgot to give it a shake and get the ice to do what ice does. After that, it was even better. So, hands down the best taro drink I've had. The staff was super friendly. Place was clean and easy to get to with plenty of parking.
