Very friendly staff and great at recommendations. I was looking for something light and refreshing.. the manager directed me to the grasshopper. I think I've purchased 3 since that day. Other drinks we've tried were golden brew and a guava drink. Grasshopper is still my fav so far, but everything we've tasted hasn't disappointed so far. I finally got around to trying The Teaspoon, since I heard it was opening in Burbank, and I loved it! I got the Black Sugar Assam, and I really enjoyed the richness and astringency of the tea balanced with the milk. In addition the boba was just right and had a nice chew to it. I also tried a sample of the Guava Sunset which was also delicious! Service was fast and I got my tea in a timely amount of time. One of the better boba tea shops in Burbank. The boba is chewy and sweet and the drinks are a good size. I ordered the Taro Lover and enjoyed the chunks of taro and texture of the taro paste. I couldn't customize the sugar levels of the taro lover, but it wasn't too sweet compared to other local boba drinks. I have walked by Teaspoon on the way to the movies a couple of times and decided to try it after the movie two nights ago. There were two women and a man behind the counter who were so friendly and helpful. They made very good suggestions on what to order and add-on. I chose the "Golden Brew" and asked them to prepare it "less sweetened" since they told me the regular version is very sweet. The "Golden Brew" was probably the best coffee drink I've ever had. You could tell that they use very high quality coffee beans because there was not one bitter aftertaste in this wonderful drink. I like that the coffee beans are organic and that they offer a "less sweetened" version. The "less sweetened" version is perfect for most adults. I also ordered the Coffee Cake which tastes just as good as it looks - Moist and Loaded with Cinnamon flavor. Both of the big corporate coffee places sell Coffee Cakes that pale in comparison. I can't wait to go back to Teaspoon to try some of their other drinks and pastries. The ambiance is really great and the team that runs the place takes pride and joy in what they do! read more

Sometimes boba places can burn or over brew the tea but this was perfect. You can adjust the sweetness and 50% was the ideal for me. Strawberry Sangria was also good but definitely more naturally sweeter. The boba seemed very fresh, had a great chew, and wasn't too sweet. They have a combination of lactose free drinks and milk tea. I think they also had alternative milk but don't quote me. Macarons, brownies, Rice Krispy treats available as snacks. Service was fast and friendly! They also have online ordering. This is on the third floor of the mall across from the AMC. There's not exactly seating but the outdoor area is right next to it which is a cute place to sit. The decor and vibes of the shop are cute, clean, and classy. All the drinks are very inconsistent every time i go even if i get the same order with the same level of sweetness, the drink is made differently. I like to go here because it's walking distance, but I came a few days ago and I swear my matcha was just milk with a hint of green tea so I will not be coming back especially with how expensive the drinks are. The liquid gold is definitely my favorite drink but even when i get that sometimes it taste just like milk. I have previously patronized & enjoyed other TEASPOON locations and was excited for this new one in Burbank. I follow them on social media and saw that their grand opening event was scheduled for 8/24/24. What they advertised for this special day was NOT what they actually offered. All social media posts clearly stated that they would be having BOGO free drinks (in addition to live music & raffles) from 12N-4P AND that the 1st 100 customers would receive a free glass bottle. I opted to arrive early and wait in line and received a VIP card/voucher which congratulated me and told me that I could redeem it for a free glass with a purchase... that is NOT what their social media posts stated... in any event, I waited for over 2 hours, purchased a drink and was told that I could either get a free drink OR a free glass bottle. Again, this is NOT what was advertised and they would not make good on it. I opted for the BOGO and did NOT receive the free glass bottle. Whether intentional or not, this is/was 'bait and switch' and is just bad business. I'd be very cautious of any promos they advertise as they do not honor what they put in writing. I will not be patronizing this location again and unless they wish to reach out to me to make good on this, I will think twice about patronizing any of their locations. read more
