Incredibly rude staff. Was just in today for the first time. Girl working the front with bangs had a terrible attitude. I ordered two drinks. One came back wrong size, the other was the completely wrong drink. I went back up front to tell her i received the wrong drink and if i could get the one I ordered and she basically just said no this is what you ordered and didn't offer any type of resolution, just stared at me until i walked away uncomfortable. I got the taro milk tea with bobba and I wasn't too happy with the taste or texture. It was super creamy like heavy whipping cream was used instead of milk.. that or the coconut milk was really thick.. not sure what it was but I wasn't a fan. And it was pretty expensive $10.. overpriced compared to everywhere else. read more

Short Review: Good solid boba tea drinks. Otherwise, good service, pleasant interiors, and price is little more expensive than most boba shop. For more information, read below. Long Review: Teamania is located north of Glendale. It close by to the freeway and it is in the area filled with food restaurant and various shop. When arrived, there are plenty of parking spots so not to worry. Outside, the sign "Teamania" is in lime-green color along with the word "fresh tea & boba" and their symbol sign is a cup of tea with boba in it. On the inside, it was much more pleasant. It felt like going inside "heaven" with gardens around, at least, that's what I imagine heaven would looks like. Although, the greens are obviously artificial, it's still a pleasant sight to see, especially in a desert state like Arizona. Looking at the menu, it wasn't overwhelming and felt like the option was just about right. I went with their Golden Milk Tea with mini-boba and Orange Sunset. My drinks was finish in 3 minutes or so. Golden Milk Tea (with mini-boba): Decent tea taste with a good amount of creamer to smooth the bold tea taste and the sweetness level is spot on; not too sweet and not too plain. The mini-boba, on the other hand, was okay. The taste was good, but honestly, I much prefer larger boba, in which, they didn't seem to have at that time. These mini-bobas are so small, you're basically drinking as in swallowing them instead of chewing on them, which is essentially the whole point of tapioca (boba). So, yeah, mini-boba was okay, but the drink was great, so kudos on that. Orange Sunset: As any orange lover drinker, you'll like this as well. You get to choose between green or black tea as the base. I went with green tea. Which ever you choose, it is purely preference. I like both green and black tea on any fruit juice, so I'll assume that the black tea for this would be just as good as the green tea. Nothing much else to say other than you'll taste the tea and the fruit juice that goes along with the description. It is somewhat sweeter than my liking, so I suggest getting it less sweet if you're not a sweet tooth. A side note, the cups were nice with the alien-like creature. It matches their sign, lime-green and kind of fits the description of tea"mania." Otherwise, in terms of quantity, it gets a B and in quality, a B+ for both drinks. Obviously, not the best milk tea I have tried and most of the fruit teas are easy to make, but this place does solid boba tea drinks. I can't really complain other than the price may be somewhat expensive for milk teas and all. If you live in North of Glendale and looking for boba tea without needing to drive far out or just around the corner, this is the place to go. read more

Delicious!! Drinks are reasonably priced and made to order quickly. My boyfriend and I ordered the Passionfruit Green Tea and De-Lychee-ous Slush. Both were normal sweetness / normal ice but it was really the right amount of sweetness to compliment the beverage. Most boba places have that strong syrupy & artificial flavoring but this place wasn't overpowering at all but was instead still filled with the right balance of amazing phenomenal flavors. Place is kept tidy with easy to read menus. They even have a little merchandise rack of cute shirts!! The employee on duty was super kind, friendly and helpful. Also had a great conversation with him as well. Would definitely stop by again if i'm ever visiting again :) read more

The ice blended bobas here are really good. I get the taro coconut blended boba drink and it's amazing. My husband tried it and now that's what he orders. My husband got the strawberry Arizona and he enjoyed it! It was an interesting but good taste. Not pictured but we got the chicken poppers and those were good, the sauce was the main star of it! While their bobas are really good, unfortunately I have to dock a couple stars because the DONT wear masks. They don't wear them when they take your order OR when they make your food. I started to come a few months ago and I love their Vietnamese Coffee boba, the Teamaniac, brown sugar boba and then my kids love their strawberry smoothies. I've been really happy with the quality of their drinks, serving size and am a repeat customer. Since I quit coffee, I've replaced it with tea or milk tea! Not my absolute favorite boba place, but the drinks are pretty good. Typically the fruit teas come with fruit on the bottom, which is a nice addition. Teas are super flavorful as well. Next time I come by, I'll try out another kind of drink. Staff is really sweet and they don't mind having a conversation with you. As we know, boba takes a while to make, so when a friendly staff member talks to you, it makes the time go by faster. The inside of the shop is very cute. Review is based on my experiences with the grand-opening. Let me just say that this place is an excellent addition to Glendale, especially for all the students at Midwestern University. Four stars for the drinks. They have a very transparent design where you can see how your drinks are made. That also means we could see their powders and sweeteners used in the drinks. If you are a "tea elite" who wants authentic drinks, then these things are not for you. They also have a very limited selection for now (I suspect this will continue to grow). Otherwise, I would say their drinks are pretty decent and well-made. You can see them use fresh fruits to make their smoothies. The boba has great taste to it as well. The only thing I would advise the owners is to soften the boba a bit (I really don't mind hard boba, but some people with sensitive teeth will). Now, the BOGO event was great, but you will realize that if not for that, the drinks would be very pricey. $5.50 for a regular-sized smoothie/specialty drink and then add on another $1.50 for a large size, making such a drink $7. Subtract a dollar for their milk tea drinks. The pictures will show for themselves how small the regular-sized drinks are in actuality. This is in comparison to their competitors, such as Bubble Cups. Additionally, the workers and owner were very kind to address the fact that they ran out of mango bits for my drink, which they replaced kindly with rainbow jelly. In all, I think this place will do very well with the customer base around here and can be some good competition with nearby bubble tea shops. read more

This is a nice, quiescent place to hang out. I had myself an Orange Dreamsicle which is a smoothie made up of oranges, carrots, bananas, and yogurt. It was pretty good. I was there with two cronies but it was pretty weird when all the employees just disappeared in the back while I hung out with my friends for 40 minutes. The smoothie was tasty and straightforward. I need to start off by saying this is a great addition to northern Glendale. We don't have anything of the sort nearby, the closest is in Norterra. The drinks are freshly made, but the only issue is the amount of flavoring and sugar they put in the drinks. Pros: Cute atmosphere Music at a nice volume Very clean Large menu of drinks Location Seating Lounge Cons: Too much sugar Expensive drinks No options of food or snack Games look like they're 12 years old, but the location is quite new I would say to the owner, maybe change the recipes up slightly. I did read responses to other reviews written, and I don't think that the teas should be so sweet. My fiancée couldn't taste the tea in her golden milk tea. We will have to try again and ask for very light sugar, but for the location, I think it's a sound addition to Glendale. read more

We decided to try this place for the first time a couple weeks ago! They were still supposed open for another 2 hours but upon entering we were told they were out of regular boba and were told "that's the "open" sign is off.." (which obviously we didn't notice oops). Bummer!! But the employee then offered us rainbow jelly, but then discovered they were out of that too! Aw man! We ended up getting lychee popping boba in our drinks instead and I wasn't disappointed! My husband got honeydew milk tea, and I ordered a winter melon tea. Both were SO yummy!!! Neither were too sweet, and I definitely wish they had a bigger size because mine was gone so fast. We're excited to come back hopefully when they have original boba available! Definitely my new favorite go-to spot. I found this hidden gem one day when I was craving milk tea. My boyfriend and I usually don't search for milk tea shops around Glendale because our favorite is Milk Run down in Central Phoenix. Considering that the drive is far, we generally don't crave it at all when were closer to home in North Peoria, until now! My boyfriend is OBSESSED with their Vietnamese coffee with sea cream. I am obsessed with their teamania. Both have such flavorful tastes that we fell in love. Staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I went earlier this week to try this place for the first time. The location is cute for sure. I ended up ordering one of their special teas and was so excited to try it. I paid for the drink and waited to get the goods. When I was given the drink I noticed there was no boba in my cup. I thought to myself, "maybe I forgot to order the boba" so I ask the woman working there, " is there no boba in this drink or did I just forgot to ask?" She responds with, " oh no we are out of boba, busy day". I was super disappointed because the woman gave no indication that they were out of boba completely before I decided to pay or even mention it to my friend that also ordered a drink. It drives me nuts how they do not adhere to their own posted business hours and do not post anything anywhere when they do close early, which happens way too often. My husband and I would not recommend this place. I usually get light ice in my drinks, not realizing it would cost me a whole dollar more for requesting "light ice". I got a regular tea drink 16oz, which is made with the big tea containers in the back. If I had known it would cost the same price as a 24oz, I wouldn't even have requested to get my drink with "light ice". So if someone gets "extra ice" do you discount the price by a dollar?
