Nestled in a shopping strip across the street from Memorial High School, and located next to a great hamburger place next door called Southwell's, Teahouse serves up some great drinks to enjoy at anytime of the day. I've been here a few times up to date and I've gotten the chance to enjoy multiple drinks and some food items. Overall I have been pleased with what I've received and have had little to no complaints about them. They are just like any other boba spot, with adjustments to drinks, ice levels, sugar levels and all the other good stuff. The indoor seating is nice for both groups and individual studying. The staircase seating on the right as you walk in is a nice different concept to have. Service can get slow if it's busy, so be prepared to wait for a little bit, but the wait isn't that bad or slow if there are just a few people inside. This place is great to come after having a nice lunch or dinner, great for the Memorial HS students as well to drop on by! read more

As soon as I walked in I felt transported to a serene, happy place. A cool, calm vibe with great music. Comfortable seating. Quick service. The star of the show was the Thai tea and fresh watermelon juice. Both were so satisfying on so many levels. They have a great menu. You will be able to find what ever suits your mood that day. I promise you. On a beautiful day, I walked out on cloud nine. I will be returning......soon. read more

Well I have been going to this place a while and always get the same drink . So I go get it before a meeting I love the oolong with boba. Again been getting the SAME drink forever .. Well went in for my drink I earned with points and it was so bad I went back and they made it again . It did not even look right .. So I left with the drink it was so sweet I ended up throwing it away !! So I get a survey and replied with what happened and points down the drain .. this is what I got back .. :( We are sorry that we can't make your oolong tea correct. We hope you find a perfect tea that you like . Seriously.. Also I noticed I have left two other great reviews again that day was off not sure the deal was .. anyway guess I will not go back .. wtf do they send a survey then reply with that crap relay !! read more

food and boba is good, service however is not. staff looks like they do not want to be there

The service is rude. I've been coming here for the longest it used to be my favorite teahouse but lately there has been at least three times were the cashier is rude and leaves me waiting while she's on the phone. The last time I came in she was arguing and using a bad languange over the phone while I was waiting and did not knowledge me. The second time a differente girl was also rude but when it came to tipping her tone changed. It's my last time stopping by, I'm not sure if the cashiers are high schoolers but they need better training. read more

"I'm not taking orders right now" was what the "server" had said to me. Keep in mind there were only two other customers in here just sitting and doing their thing. Then she ended up taking two other people's orders first and the rush finally came in...I've been here before all the other servers were so nice. This is usually my go-to spot since it's clean and chill and the drinks are good here too. read more

The skinny girl at the front is extremely rude. When I asked if one of the drinks was sweet she said "I don't know I've never tried it". As if I was bothering her. After taking the order she and the other girl stood around chatting instead of making one drink. I hope they get fired esp the one who runs the register. Never going back. Their drinks aren't good anyway. read more

I was happy to find that there was a tea house right there in memorial city. The customer service was excellent, I was met with a smile and drink suggestion when I asked. The atmosphere is really cool, there's a nice seated wall to your right. Which has about 3 rows going up, with round wood tables and cushions on each side. Pretty cool and innovative idea. I ordered the taro coconut cream blend and a Thai tea with baby Boba. These were so nice and yummy. I will be back! read more

Just found this new delicious gem in the heart of Memorial in Htown called Teahouse tapioca & tea .They just opened this week and offer the cool vibe of a teahouse blended with deliciouso drinks. Thank you to owner Mike for the incredible mango cream with tapioca smoothie. Heavenly!!! These would be perfect as a treat after a workout or as a cool place to relax inside on their staired seating with pillows. Either way, I will be telling all about this new cool find and know I will be back soon! They are conveniently located by Memorial HS and close to 110 with a small amount of outside seating . read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The staff were rude and inattentive to customers. I ordered an iced coffee with bubbles, and it tasted very ordinary. There was nothing special about their drinks or the atmosphere. I definitely will not be returning, and I strongly suggest that you never try this place. read more

This place has the best cream matcha tea with boba! Hands down. I've tried many others! Nothing like this one! The BEST

Overall great experience for a chain tapioca place. Went around lunch time on a weekday with few customers. The popcorn chicken which was juicy, crispy, and peppery, one of the better popcorns chickens I have had. The sweet potato fries and passion fruit slush were also good, which I assume is difficult to screw up, which they didn't. Everything was hot and fresh when I received it, and the staff was friendly with my limited interaction. It's a place definitely worth trying if you're in the area, an above average chain tap house. read more

I've been to this location in the past but had a much better experience. They had different people running it at the time and I suppose it makes all the difference the type of service you receive at places that are set up as more of a grab and go type, nevertheless, the service I received with the change of staff was less than satisfactory. I ordered the Thai tea with no boba (tapioca). The lady taking my order looked a little annoyed at my request not to add in the e boba. I then asked if they applied military discounts at this location, to which she asked the manager in the back and he said no. No problem. I waited and got my drink but it was full to almost the brim with boba. And she says "you ordered the Thai tea did you?" And I said "yes ma'am but could I please have it without the boba. I think-" and she cuts me off and tells me to "hold on" while she proceeds to take the order of a new customer. She makes me wait while she takes a very long time getting the order of the customer before she finally turns to me and without a word, takes the boba filled tea and plops it on the counter next to the manager and complains that I don't want boba but that she's not remaking it. She gets a new cup but strains out the boba and adds a ton of ice instead of just making the drink the way I originally ordered. Then misses some boba so when I make it to the bottom of the drink, I find some. I just didn't get it. Why the need to be so rude while at a tea shop. It take less than 1 minute to make a drink per customer. I also asked the manager if he would consider asking management to consider implementing a service member discount to which he did everything to avoid from answering my question going to the extremes of saying he had a deep deep conversation with the owner about his compassion towards military service members and how he had begged and pleaded with the owner to implement one but the guy wasn't for it. And he and the other lady laughed after I said thank you and walked away. It was just awful. At least wait until I have left the building to laugh at the ridiculous story you just told me. I'm not one to leave many negative reviews but this place just left a sour taste in my mouth and I won't be returning. read more

yessss love that there are more boba places opening up in memorial/spring branch! This location has the same great drinks and foods as the other locations. (Minus banh mi but maybe they'll bring it later?) The interior is very cute. Overall a small store but has lots of tables and seating. A part of me wants to not write this review so that people won't know and overcrowd the place. read more

Delicious Thai tea. Refreshing Grapefruit green tea. Scrumptious egg rolls. Friendly staff.

The fake eyelash girl Jazmine was extremely rude and did not allow my service animal in the store! I heard her spit in my drink after I paid for it! I left my drink and didn't get a refund. This place will get a nice letter! Absolutely horrible experience!!! I've always gone to this establishment and after this incident I am not giving my business to this place! Very clean, very efficient and nicely decorated location to hang out. The Boba tea, I got hazelnut, was yummy too!!!

This location is convenient with plenty of parking spaces. It is a very small store with nice and cute decor. However, out of all the Teahouse stores, this one is the worst I have been to. Their drinks and bobas have been very inconsistent. I usually order Thai Tea, but it tastes like watered down milk here with no taste of the Thai tea leaves. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is an absolute joke. First, the service is painfully slow. We waited nearly 40 minutes for our boba tea, and when it finally arrived, it was lukewarm and tasted like it had been sitting around for hours. The "specialty" boba tea they boast about? Completely bland and flavorless--I've had better boba from a cheap corner store. The tapioca pearls were either rock hard or mushy, which is honestly unacceptable for a place that claims to specialize in boba. The atmosphere was equally awful. It's supposed to be a relaxing tea house, but instead, it was loud, chaotic, and uncomfortably cramped. The tables are packed so close together that you can barely move without bumping into someone. So much for a peaceful boba tea experience. The staff? Don't even get me started. They were rude, dismissive, and acted like it was an inconvenience to even acknowledge us. We had to flag someone down just to get a straw, which, surprise surprise it took another 20 minutes. Honestly, don't waste your time or money here. This place is overpriced and overrated. There are so many better boba spots out there read more

Place is cute, I love this chain. But I walked in to a completely dead silent place. No music at all, but tons of people waiting for their drink without a sound. Just a strange ambiance. They had no tapioca at all and it's 3:15 in the afternoon. Settled for my usual passion fruit green tea that was mostly Ice and watered down. Debating on giving this location another chance. Maybe I'll just suck it up and drive to the heights. read more

It makes me sad to leave this review because I'm really do love their drinks. We've been here twice now, and the customer service has been absolutely awful both times. The second time we came, we were not greeted when we walked up to the cashier, she hardly looked at us as we approached, then literally said nothing. As I was ordering she was texting on her phone, and had zero expression. The first time we were here the workers were just hanging out, chit chatting and laughing in front of customers. Employees wearing socks and slides was very concerning and completely inappropriate for work. read more

On September 21,2023 I went to the tea house and it was still 15 mins before closing and staff was not very good at all and unprofessional. They got my drink wrong and didn't offer to fix it and was in a hurry to leave before closing time. They also stated that the kitchen closed at 8pm and just want to verify if that's true.I've been coming here since I found out about this location since it's the closest to work and I love teahouse. Please train the staff you had working on 9/21/23 to do their job correctly and professionally. read more

Love the environment. Beautiful. And quick service! The tea is also really good. I recommend this place for everyone

Very nice store, their drinks are really good and so are their fries! I liked how quiet it was so I could study and get work done.

This place has a nice interior and not very loud. The service was good. The person who took my order was friendly and nice. Order came out fairly quick. We ordered mango ice blend, passion fruit ice blend, and matcha green tea. I was hoping that it wouldn't be too watery like other reviews mentioned, but it was pretty watery.. similar to when you order low % sugar/sweet (prob similar to lower than 70% sugar). I would prob come back since they close later than other places. read more
