So disappointing. We went to marble falls for a dmv apt and my daughter is vegetarian so we always google places to eat. I should have paid attention to the latest google reviews. We were so disappointed. My daughter ordered pancakes and hash browns. After two bites she said she couldn't eat any more of it it was so bad. I had avocado tacos and they were marginal at best. We sat down and the table was dirty. The man yanked it off the table, shook it out and flipped it to the other side. You can tell they were very short staffed but i can't even hold that against any place now because everyone is short staffed. I ordered food and picked it up. It was ready at the time when I said I would be there. My tuna melt was dry, so was my friend's. Nothing special. I had their chicken salad a few weeks before and it was dry. I decided not to order theses items again. This was our first time eating at this establishment and can only give rave reviews. My husband ordered turkey tacos and I had the chicken tacos. The food was prepared perfectly. Meat was juicy and tender and the tacos were not overstuffed with fillers. The proportion of veggies to meat was exact. Too many times tacos are minimal on the meat to lower food cost. Not here. This is my gf and mine favorite place to eat in town. We come at least once a week. All there food is top quality. For being a gluten free certified cafe all their food taste amazing. My favorite meal is the "tuna tacos served over a salad w/ a mexican soda". The taco is crammed with tuna, veggie version of mayo, cheese, bean sprouts, and mashed avocado one a large rice tortilla. The accompanying salsa lacked heat and the pungency you'd hope for to counter the heaviness of what ever your putting it on. That said to my great pleasure was the tortillas, which are actually made from rice! Who knew I'd enjoy rice tortillas this much. The plate arrived looking as good as it eventually tasted. Service was very friendly . One gets the idea that these folks love what they do which means a lot to me and should mean a lot to everyone. My one genuine issue was the coffee. Yes here it comes , I'm also a coffee geek. I get the sense that Tea, is the go to beverage here. So not surprising my cup was average cafe coffee which isn't actually coffee after its been run through the percolator. Ok this was Not a deal breaker for me at all...Next time, I'll abstain. This place is so cute!! I have only been once and I really enjoyed the idea of it. I ordered the chicken tacos/no cheese which at first site looked amazing!! They were very good! I got them to go which I think would be my only complaint. After sitting in the box for a little bit they got cold and the "tortilla" tasted weird and crunchy. I know that they are made out of a rice paper or something which might have been why. The ranch that comes with them is so good but man it will light your mouth on fire!! We tried this restaurant for the first time today on our way home to San Antonio. This is as good or better as any health food place we've seen. We shared the chicken avocado salad and had enough for two plus a little extra. The portions are huge! The is probably the worst service and most embarrassing situation I have ever experienced at a restaurant. I brought my elderly mother with me to enjoy lunch. We had our order taken and sat there for 30 minutes waiting for our order. Finally I called the gentleman at the cash register over and asked him to check on our order. He never came back until we got up to leave and then said it would be 10 minutes. Obviously the order was lost because he had to ask what we had ordered. This is served on a bed of fresh mixed greens with a side of salsa that can be a topping for the salad and/or the tortilla. Message to owner - fix the hours of operation, website is different than what yelp has and what comes up on the iPhone map. The BEST chicken tacos you will ever have in your life and the smoothies are great and raw. This is our go to place in Marble Falls for lunch. My husband and I both like to eat healthy - I'm a vegetarian and he's a meat eater and Tea Thyme Cafe has great options for both of us. The service is always great and it's the kind of place where they remember you and always feel welcome. When we first went here based off the positive yelp reviews, I have to admit I was skeptical upon entering. Boy was I surprised when the food came out. Whoever is putting the menu selections together and executing each did are brilliant! Everything I've had here is excellent and when I'm hungry I find myself craving my menu favorites and have to go back.
