I have celiac disease and food sensitivities and I feel safe eating here. The food is so good and made fresh. We brought my 2 granddaughters here for lunch and they said this is their new favorite place to eat. I had a BLT and tomato basil soup with a flourless cake for dessert. My hubby had chicken tacos and cheesecake. My granddaughters had avocado tacos and waffles with smoothies. They also had boba tea which they enjoyed a lot. The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable with music playing in the background. Lots of brightly colored walls make it fun. The restaurant is very clean. Was kind of freaked out when we walked in. Wasn't sure what to expect as we were seated. We did not realize this was a vegan style place as we are true Carnivores! (Hate us if you must) I was so pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing! The service was excellent! We had an absolutely wonderful experience here. We were in Marble Falls for the weekend and stopped by for gluten-free food. But we were highly impressed by the variety, taste, and quantity of the food. The special hash browns they make is out of this world delicious - it's such a simple recipe when you finally see it and yet no one else has thought it. We found a gentleman to help us who was incredibly kind and accommodating. Fortunately, he stepped in and took over from the girl who kept saying "not possible" to any simple request we had. This guy though - wish we had asked his name - was truly was service and hospitality embody. He made it his mission he said to ensure we had a fabulous first-timer experience and we surely did. Wish we lived closer - we'd be here every Saturday! The live musician was also such a wonderful addition to the ambiance of the place. My boyfriend and I stopped here while visiting Marble Falls and per his dentist's recommendation we tried this place out. We met one of the owners and you could tell she was committed and passionate about her restaurant and their mission to elevate people's health. I loved the food was GF and it was also very yummy. My bf had their soups and an omelette and devoured it all. I built my own smoothie and it was very nourishing and refreshing as well. The vibe of the place is welcoming, colorful, and friendly. I was in town briefly for some important business and hoped to find some halfway decent vegan food. While their menu largely is non-vegan, they do offer a menu item known as Vegan Tacos. They are generously portioned and incredibly delicious! I ended up getting a second helping they are so good. The coffee I got was also better than the local roaster I hit earlier that morning... I imagine the rest of the menu is as good, but if you're in search of vegan food in the area, this place has some fantastic tacos. The wait staff is super friendly too! Sooo this place was uh, interesting? The service was good and our waitress was really nice but than it was sooooo weird to have huh, regular potato chips along with hummus AND pita bread. Lol, okkkkay. My husband got the chicken taco and I got the chicken avocado salad. Soooo, question, is the chicken from a can? I used to make my chicken salad with it and it takes JUST like it. The texture and the lack of taste. We actually were just passing through the town and needed something that could be on my diet. So this was our first impression of the food. I left the dermatologist super hungry a while back and the nurses were all raving about some tacos they'd just gotten to go from here that they described them as "thanksgiving in a taco". Yep it's a 5. Lunch today with friends visiting from Fort Worth. Parking in front and in the back of the restaurant. Two of us had the pastrami Reuben excellent. I had the side salad with some of the best honey mustard dressing. Friend got chips. My wife had the big breakfast- looked outstanding. Yep they serve lunch all day. Following an online search for a locally owned place in Marble Falls to have lunch on a Saturday morning after our grandson's baseball game, I was happy to find that the Tea Thyme Cafe was open and decided to try it, sight unseen. Pulling up to the side door my husband and I wondered if we had made the right choice. After walking in the side door, however, we were immediately greeted with a server's warm smile and his encouragement to sit anywhere we wanted. So far, so good, I thought, and it just kept getting better from there. A table near the window was open and we had only been seated a minute or two before our server brought us our menus and took our drink order. The loose leaf black tea, brought to our table in a glass French press, was soon brewed just the way I like it. Cooled with a bit of almond milk and sweetened with a dash of stevia from a packet readily available at the table, I savored the first cup while looking over the extensive menu, still in disbelief that there was no gluten present anywhere in the kitchen. Upon seeing real sandwiches and a bonafide waffle plate listed in addition to the usual "celiac-safe" items--salad greens and plain fruit--I could hardly believe my eyes. As a guitarist played a set list of some of our favorite songs we placed our order and then relaxed over several cups of the delicious tea. When the freshly prepared meal arrived we appreciated the food philosophy of Tea Thyme Cafe's and the staff's good work there more with each bite. One waffle plate (mine) and club sandwich (my husband's) later, we both smiled and knew we will be making the trip from Austin west through the Texas Hill Country to Marble Falls in order to dine again at this one of a kind gem of a restaurant. Tried this place out for breakfast... the meat-eating, comfort-food-loving hubs obliged me. And I'm so glad he did. They have a ton of vegetarian/vegan options on the menu. That alone is such a treat for me. But then it's hard to find something to eat bc I'm not used to having so many options!! LOL. Our waiter recommended the tacos so I ordered the breakfast taco and promptly devoured it when it landed on the table. It was soooooo gooooood! And their homemade fresh salsa made the perfect complement. Turns out everything on their menu is gluten free so the hubs decided to try their pancakes and see how they compare. He said they were good but were missing that buttermilk flavor that he loves. But he could see how these would be wonderful for people who cannot have gluten. i love this place. not enough places around here with 'girly' spots or vegan / vegetarian friendly options. I still eat meat but do try and eat a more vegetarian style diet as much as i can so it's nice having a place to go eat at that I know is in line with that. The service has been hit and miss. The ambiance is ok usually sometimes hot which is never ok. I love the decore. Table service instead of buffet is always best and adds to the zen like atmosphere it originally had. read more

We came at this town during spring break and we lucked out finding this restaurant. Though they are limited with items on their menu, they do have good quality breakfast. I ordered the spinach omelette and it was better than expected. The price was decent, Though the customer service was a little bit slow But due to the current pandemic, they were low staff so the slow service was as expected. We were even notified before we enter the restaurant from the sign located at the front door. It was worth the wait. My kids were being a bit extra as we came in super hungry in the morning, however the calming live Christian music helped soothe my kids and calm them down enough till their food came out. If you eat gluten free, and even if you don't, this place is a must!! I'm celiac and had more choices than I knew what to do with. I had the turkey sandwich and chocolate cake and my husband had the Ruben and coconut cream pie. It was all delicious and the service was fantastic. They also had a beautiful salad bar. Very unassuming from the street but don't let that stop you from going in. Chef's up sandwiches, tacos and such for lunch. I had the Reuben sandwich which was stuffed full of pastrami and ample sauerkraut. The chipotle may is NO joke hot and delicious! Side salad was fresh. The Turkey taco was like a Turkey salad in a semi-crisp taco. Cranberries, walnuts and orange slices made for an interesting twist. No side comes with that but it was on a bed of spinach that can more then fill in any nook or cranny you haven't filled up by the huge tacos. read more
