First off I'm Sicilian Italian and I have to say the Focaccia Bread was spot on, the sandwiches were good but not enough meat, veggies, seasonings, etc, still missing that WOW factor for something that is maybe 5" X 5" for $15.00 and maybe 3" in height... For the same price you can get this at Eatzi's Market and Bakery in DFW that is freshly baked bread stacked and packed with meats, lettuce, and all the fixings 7" X 7" for $15.00. We got the veneto. Out the door like $17 something, we split it and it half was more than plenty for me. The entire place is really cute and easy to find around the corner off Main Street. I ate my half at the pool a couple hours after getting it to go and it was still amazing!! 8/10 just because there was too much sauce for my liking but the burrata and meats tasted really good. My husband and I walked into this new sandwich shop on Main Street at lunchtime on a Thursday. There was a short line at the counter where you place your order and all the tables were taken. By the time we ordered, we were able to snag a table. Before ordering, my husband saw the size of the sandwiches and asked if we should share. I politely declined. All sandwiches are served on focaccia bread that is made in house daily. My husband ordered the Romana which is prosciutto cotto, artichoke pecorino cream, artichoke heart and roasted red pepper. It was delicious. I had the Leonardo which is prosciutto crudo, burrata, sun dried tomato and pesto. It was also delicious. We ate half our sandwiches then looked at each other and said 'these won't be good later' and finished them! I can't wait to go back and try one of their salads. read more

We got back from Tuscany in May and the focaccia sandwiches from this venue are right there with the best we had in Italy. The authenticity is shockingly on target because the ingredients are as perfect as they could be. While the price tag for a sandwich may seem high, these are easily split for two unless you are super hungry. This is probably the best fast casual food in all of the Highland Lakes so give it a try. read more
