The good - The turkey tacos and chicken tacos were great. Large serving. The bad - Horrible service. No less than 4 servers attended to us because no one was certain of who was primary server hence bad communication and service. Tell one person a request, not get request when different server arrived. Re-request with service being severely delayed. (Thanks, I sure would have liked my beverage WITH my meal. Not AFTER). No prices posted on menu for beverages. Oh, so had I been aware that 12oz green tea was $2.50 I would have passed when you served it after my meal or at least got a refill in a to go cup. When I arrived at noon on a Wednesday, about 20% of tables taken. When I left at 1:15, the place was packed. Two different servers told me to take a seat wherever I like but then it took over 9 minutes to be greeted and brought menus while servers were just standing about. I came in for breakfast and was surprised to find a small breakfast buffet for $8.99 per person that included scrambled eggs, bacon, black beans, mini biscuit, gravy, and pancakes with syrup. The reason I'm giving them a 4 star rating is because the buffet also included a salad bar with fresh veggies, feta cheese, deli meat and assorted nuts. I also realy enjoyed the home made salsa, I loaded it on my eggs and crumbled bacon on top...delicious. My only suggestion would be to try a different biscuit recipe, the mini biscuit were really dry and I think a homemade raspberry or strawberry vinaigrette would be great addition to the salad bar. On a side note, my husband and I did not try the gravy so can't comment on the flavor but I don't think it had any bits of sausage in it which is probably why my husband didn't eat it. They also have a breakfast menu so if you have a big group, Everyone is covered. read more

Ok, first impressions: you park in the back and go in what would look like a back door. It's not. Then you come into what looks like a warehouse with painted walls. They give you a nice menu and take your drink order. We ordered 2 chicken tacos and 1 tuna taco. I had the tuna, I will address that. There was a very nice amount of tuna that was moist and flavorful. The taco also had sprouts (not sure what kind) inside with the tuna, served over a spinach salad and a side of a vinegarette dressing. It was all good, but what made it special was the taco shell. OMG! My SIL from Marble Falls said it was made from brown rice flour. I dunno what it made from, but it was knock your hat in the creek good! I loved it! And I am an obese 60 year old pure carnivore, but I LOVED it. Now, the service. Excellent. Attentive staff. Our drinks never ran dry. It was not always our server doing the refills, but it was always someone. If we didn't live 10 hours away, I would be a regular here. read more

My brother and I stopped by today after I read an ad about their new opening. All Gluten-Free menu. We were waited on by a very nice gentleman that suggested the chicken taco on the brown rice tortilla of which I chose and it was very good. They serve breakfast all day so my brother ordered the waffle with blueberries. The blueberries are in a bowl on the side and you get a good serving of berries. This really is a 3.5 star review. This place is solid and was worth the trip, but also had a few things that were a bit odd or lacking. First, the good. Service here was outstanding. Super nice and very attentive server who took time to explain everything and answer questions. She was very enthusiastic about the menu and her favorites which is always nice. The menu has a clear healthy bent to it which I appreciate. Majority of menu is either breakfast items or some sort of taco. Tacos come in a homemade crispy shell which was excellent. Veggie tacos are packed with fresh veggies. Got side of salsa with it which made it great. Pancakes were fluffy and delicious and look like they had buckwheat in them to make them heartier. We also got a breakfast sandwich which was a BLT with eggs. My daughter ate it all in about 2 mins which is a great sign. We also had soup which was French onion and really excellent. Did not have usual cheese and crouton so much healthier and very tasty. Now the not so good. We had a chicken taco and the chicken was a little off. Tasted a little gamey. Consistency was also a bit strange more like minced than chopped. We ordered chips and salsa as an app. Salsa very tasty but instead of usual tortilla chips they were served with out of the bag potato chips. Strange, especially in TX. Decor is eclectic as well. Normally I don't care out this, but this place is strange. Odd colors and old school tables and chairs from 4 decades ago. Not a comforting experience. On balance more good than bad here, so definitely worth a trip for lunch. Maybe we just got an off piece of chicken in our visit. read more

My wife and I were visiting Marble Falls and were worried we couldn't find a good restaurant that serves gluten free food, as my wife has celiac disease and cannot eat gluten. Much to our surprise, we discovered a "gluten-free" gem, Tea Thyme! I ordered the chicken tacos which were, without a doubt, the greatest chicken tacos I've ever had. And I live in South Texas. My wife ordered the tostada and she loved it and all she kept saying was how she can't wait to come back again. Our server Nikki couldn't have been more charming or personable. Amazing good and great service! My husband, so, and I came in for lunch today. I hat the pastrami Ruben and it is just amazing. My son had the nacho tostada and loved it (even though he is pretty picky) while my husband had the tuna taco (which he also loved). Amazing gluten free food. They have cheesecake that tastes real, which is hard to do effectively. However the few times I have been here the service is extremely slow. So don't go if in a rush. Someone actually got irritated with me once when I walked up to the juice bar to ask for my check. The wait is worth it for the food however. read more

I was recently here by recommendation of my newly operated son's jaw surgeon, looking for some healthy food he could swallow. I can't begin to tell you how absolutely kind the Chef owner was to us, and how she immediately guided us to some healthy choices she could prepare on the spot for us. She made up some pureed avocado with chicken (believe me... it was soooo yummy!) and a coconut milk+strawberry+banana smoothie. My son who is a picky eater was delighted! The next day we were at the doctor for a follow up, and my son did not want anything else but her smoothie! We are from out of TX and were staying in Austin, which meant an hour's drive to and from the doctors office. Her kindness and absolutely yummy food gave us a respite in our otherwise hectic schedule and stressful situation. We will for ever be thankful and we highly recomend her delicious food! read more

We came down to Horseshoe Bay on vacation and ate at various places in Marble Falls during our stay. Tea Thyme was by far the best meal we ate! The food was so fresh and options are healthy. Being vegetarian, we ordered the vegan tacos and avocado tacos and both were delicious. We also ordered a couple of smoothies for the road and were not disappointed. The service was great as well. Came here with my husband for a quick breakfast on Valentine's Day. Waitress was a sweetheart and breakfast buffet was better than average. What made the experience though, was the live music playing throughout our meal. The singer/guitar player was extremely talented and the music was such a wonderful addition to our morning. Had lunch here a few times in the last month. Both times the food was OK and the service was prompt. Had the soup & salad buffet once and I'm not sure they even do that anymore, but it was a bit sparse. The soup was not at the buffet but the waitress brought it from the kitchen. I think I would have called it "water with broccoli and no taste soup." I understand "healthy" but come on-----throw some veggies in that pot. Soup is easy. The next occasion for lunch I ordered a Pastrami sandwich-----I got a Reuben instead. Not the waitress' fault --- she had ordered it right and the kitchen goofed. They apologized and offered to change it but hey-----I like the Reuben too. It was good. The so-called salad that came with it was merely a few greens underneath the sandwich. A hot sandwich atop the cold greens is not my idea of good restaurant practice. That could use some improvement. read more

Just ate here. This restaurant feels more like an Austin place rather than Marble Falls. Really good, healthy food! I love Blue Bonnet and Spykes and Tamale King and Super Taco (which is right across the street) as much as the next guy, but sometimes you want something healthy even if you're at the lake! We had lunch here today. Both had "Not Too Picky Tacos" with chicken salad. It was such a breath of fresh air to eat delicious, healthy, homemade and gluten free. And vegenaise / guac/sprouts on it, Wow. We'll be here so often now that we've finally ordered off the menu and not just the salad bar because of time constraints. The wait staff is all super friendly and takes care of you if you're at their table or not. Also, the lady at the cash register is a sweetheart! I wouldn't change her for anyone.
