a variety of pies in a box

Cute little desert shop next to Nancy's Really cool Thts vegan n gluten free Ordered some pies for a few ppl n then brought my grandmother I agree with another post where tht younger lady is more customer service friendly then the older one unfortunately. Felt more of a bother to be there In all prices are a little step on some things but ur paying for the luxury of a allergy friendly treat Taste is flaky which was neat

I was super excited for a vegan bakery!! Even more so for the vegan fudge. I got a few more items that didn't make it to my photos here. I was a bit concerned that everything is gluten free and vegan. Which in my opinion is very hard to pull off especially with the gluten free flour. You can definitely tell it's gluten free from the texture in all of the products. At least the ones I tried. Everything was good. The pies are super cute! The lady I met today was so sweet and gave me options. She even checked on the rolls for me. Sadly, I couldn't get the rolls. They're frozen and I'm in town for the weekend so I don't have an oven or a freezer for them. Hopefully I can try them soon. I was most excited for them. Cute little place. I hope they can make more baked goods soon!

Cherry cutie, chocolate cutie, cinnamon coffee cake, cookie dough bomb, poppyseed donut and brownie donut.

Unpopular opinion coming, I know. As someone who is basically allergic to life (lots of food intolerances) I was over. the. moon. excited about a bakery that has all I could ever want and wouldn't make me sick. I stopped by on my way out of town and picked up what felt like one of everything. I tried them that day and I have to say everything is SO sweet. It's like I was just eating straight sugar especially the cookie dough bomb. The chocolate pie was pudding in a crust. I had my mom taste test as well and as someone who loves sugar, she thought the same thing. I could only do a little at a time. My favorite was the coffee cake though. I also recommend eating whatever you get the day of. Two days later and all of it is dried out. The shop is cute, the worker was sweet, I love the idea behind it but I'd rather just make my own or buy from the grocery store.

a pie with an axe cut out of it

Went here after Green Garden next door. The pies were good! It has been awhile since I've had a pie due to being GF. I got some coffee cake and lemon bread to take home as well.

Official "Grande Opening" day, so the main store signage is not in place yet. But you can see the "N" from Nancy's Sky Garden next door.

I believe it was Big Daddy Kane who originally said that making tender and flaky gluten-free pie crust ain't easy. Or maybe that was "pimpin". Either way, the folks at Pie Jacked in Round Rock have nailed it (the pie thing, not the other). It's definitely a family affair at Pie Jacked. A family with a long history of pie making, they found that they needed to work around certain food allergens to accommodate a young family member with autism. Now they've grown up from renting commercial kitchen space and distributing to places like Wheatsville Co-Op (where they were July 2017 Local Vendor of the Month), It's a Grind Coffee, Cafe Yolly, and Monkey Nest to having their own kitchen/storefront, open to the public and next to Nancy's Sky Garden. But don't think of it as a gluten-free bakery that avoids any use of all eight of the FDA's "Eight Major Food Allergens". (yeah, that's really a thing: https://goo.gl/7VPrS6... No milk, no eggs, no butter, no nuts, no wheat, etc.), is GMO and corn-free, and completely vegan. Just think of it as a really good bakery that's pretty much safe for all. We took home a lemon-poppy seed mini-loaf, which was perfection. We also brought home a mini-cherry pie to split, which, sheepishly, my wife offered the final bite of when she realized she had enjoyed almost all of it before I could sample it. I am NOT rating them on a "good for gluten-free" scale. Their stuff is great outright! Full disclosure, my wife was not completely in love with the pumpkin pie she sampled (though the folks right next to us raved about it). But that is more because of my wife's affinity to the "canned pumpkin filling" she grew up with. Pie Jacked's version is more pumpkin-spice/molasses-ey than what she's used to. That's more a difference in flavor preferences, and not a knock. Menu isn't huge (...yet. A few pie flavors, a couple coffee cake variants, and we sampled the brownies which don't seem to be mentioned on the website yet,) But now that they have full-time use of their own kitchen, they have more than enough time to play with new recipes and seasonal ingredients (when, exactly, IS strawberry/rhubarb season???). 4.6 stars

Super happy to find this place... searched gluten free in Round Rock (we are from out of town) and this place popped up! My GF girl was so happy... had to try several things...tried the mud pie crustie - light crispy pastry with chocolate - so good.... chocolate donut with a lemon glaze - delicious combo of flavors.... salted caramel chocolate chip coffee cake - super moist and tasty... Will be back every time we visit RR.

So I just cried inside a pie shop! Haha, I'm so emotional over finding a bakery like this. Such a cute little store and some amazing treats inside. I picked a mini pumpkin pie for myself and two brownies for later. They have a freezer where they usually have sandwich bread too! Thank you so much to the owners for opening this little allergen free slice of heaven.

It honestly feels like you've stepped into a fairytale -- the flowers, the decor, the atmosphere. Just being here instantly lifts your mood. On top of that, the matcha and desserts are truly excellent. The desserts are especially impressive: not overly sweet, very balanced, with a delicate, soft texture. Everything comes together perfectly here: the interior, the drinks, and the desserts they serve. This is one of those places where the whole experience feels thoughtful and harmonious. I'm definitely becoming a regular.

Based upon reviews and research, I deduced this was a place that required those who visit to order at a kiosk to get their goodies. Side note: I have noticed that many Bobba and fast casual places have reverted to this model; where customers order and pay themselves without the interaction of an employee and then wait for their food. The main difference here and other places that have similar self service is that this place provides customers with a plethora of Instagramable/ FOMO opportunities. My partner elected to order an oreo marshmallow frappe. This frappe was rich and decadent and included silky chocolate interwoven with oreo crumbles. This frappe tasted exactly like a 'fluffy' oreo; just devine. On the other hand, I ordered the creme brulee souffle pancake. For those who have not yet had the opportunity to try this Japanese delight, the name is what it implies; a creamy stack of pancakes with crunchy bitter caramel, and silky vanilla custard. This dessert happened to be accompanied by a dollop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. These pancakes melted in my mouth and each bite was just as good as the one that preceded it. Aside from the great desserts as mentioned above, there are far too many instagrammable opportunities in this place (*truly a foodie and Yelp Elites dream).

We tried to tell him not to worry but they brought us a new one. Was awesome. She order the Frango à Parmegiana was very tasty and not like your normal tomato based sauce. The item that stole the show was the Feijoada, we got it as a side and it was incredible. My wife has been telling everyone about the Feijoada. Luckily, they were able to seat me anyway. This is a casual restaurant with a full bar. I was going to eat 4 times today, and needed to pick something light, but ended up with the escondidinho de carne, a shepherds pie like dish, chicken skewers and a dragonfruit caparinha. Cocktail- served in a lowball and looked great upon presentation. This tasted pretty good, but ended up being so small with a lot of ice, unfortunately. Skewers - these were pretty good with a nice grilled flavor. I loved the texture. Escondidinho de carne - this is a really good dish with ground beef that doesn't have many veggies like the Irish version, but still very good. The visit was not without a miscues though. I asked the waitress for an extra plate when she brought the entree out, but she never returned. Then, at the end, I finished my meal and nobody was coming to my table to give me my ticket. I had other places to be so I had to walk to the register and ask for my bill. Another person at the bar, who I had never seen come to my table, prepared the bill so I could pay. This was a little bit awkward and just seemed like the employees were flustered due to the holiday or something and just forgot about me entirely. If I ever return, I will have to come back and try the steak on my next visit. It looked really good!

You order from the counter and they give you number. Drinks are self served for coffee, fountain, or water. I asked the employee for their favorite - chicken and waffles - and also ordered Banana Love and Grilled Cheese and Bisque. It was definitely a mix of flavors - sweet, savory, and hearty. The ambiance is upbeat. Playing top 40 type of music, folks are dressed comfortably, and the tables are a bit too close together but can easily to accommodate larger groups. Chicken and waffles. Had this one first. It served more like a main meal. Chicken was juicy, a bit more breading than expected but was easy to take it off. It was served with syrup and some sort of mayo/thousand island type mix. Grilled cheese & bisque. Had this one next. Should've been first because it had more of an appy feel. Waffles were nice and crispy, cheese was perfectly melted. I used the bisque for dipping but the also provided a spoon in case you want to continue on with it. Banana Love. Saved this one a dessert. The Nutella was pretty thick and a bit overpowering. The whipped cream was really good and banana looked and tasted fresh. Overall, very good and will eventually eat my way through the menu. The menu also offers sandwich type meals where the waffle acts as the bun. Those seem good for a real lunch.

Also ordered the Nutella and strawberry waffles for my son and an à la cart order of 2 eggs over medium. He enjoyed his waffle but it became overwhelmingly sweet extremely fast so beware! Unfortunately the griddle or pan the eggs were cooked on wasn't cleaned nor seasoned properly bc he took one bite and instantly noticed a "metal flavor" only for us to flip both eggs over and can physically see metal color covering the bottom of both eggs. Super disappointing but we notified the staff and they offered to remake them. Of course my son wasn't trusting and chose not to have them remade. We were refunded $3.50 for the eggs.

The employee was polite, very informative. It's a cute little shop, bathroom was in a separate building, not a far walk. Outside seating, in front and back of shop, vending machine with their products. Giving three stars because of how dry, possibly old the cake bites were. I checked and the Apple Pay time stamp went through more than 30 minutes prior. I asked staff if our toast was still coming and they replied rudely like I was being a jerk to even ask. Pagers for food when they went off were obnoxious beeping. Just give people a table number and carry it out to them. Maybe they have one little toaster and person in the back? That said once the food came, the tofu was DELICIOUS, and a large portion. We could have split it. Croissant was unimpressive as was their chocolate croissant. Macarons were tasty, but not with the signature chew that ones made with egg whites would have. $$ Two plain lattes, two lemon toasts, a chocolate croissant and 6 macarons with a $5 tip was $88. Pretty ridiculous, and I am used to California, Bay Area prices.
