Thai tea and lemon green tea
    Maggie W.

Jasmine milk tea was a tad too milky in my opinion, not very fragrant and could've used a stronger tea flavor. The taste is a bit watery. Boba is pretty soft and not very QQ. Orange persimmon was a tad too sweet when going with the recommended level, there's large chunks of persimmon inside the drink which add to the texture and flavor. Drinks come out quickly and the ambiance inside is nice.

I always love the strawberry energy slush at TeaHut, the tea flavors comes through and it's refreshing. Trying some seasonal items on this visit. Service is fine, mostly I interface with the order kiosk. I did witness an irate customer yell at their staff over a $0.75 misunderstanding and the team handled the customer politely and reasonably even though the customer was extremely rude and aggressive so kudos to the team! I like that this location has plenty of seating so I can hangout with friends while enjoying the beverages.

Four seasons milk tea with regular boba

Had a much better experience this time around - prices are still on the high side, but service was on point (drink took about 3 minutes) and the osmanthus rice milk tea I got was so delicious. It was on the sweet side even though I chose "less sweet" but the chewy balls were so delicious and the tea flavor was great.

Modern and comfortable seating area. Easy order process via the kiosk. I ordered the watermelon tea with seasons tea at default sweet. It's a sweet and refreshing treat! I'd personally prefer 75% sweet instead of the default. Decent boba tea shop in Millbrae.

Placed an order online and it was made in 5 mins! Tried their four season milk tea with oat milk and it tasted like soy milk. Perfect for the sunny weather!

EXCELLENT SERVICE ! Gentlemen with the black beanie and hipster mustache was patient and accommodating with a special kids order. I saw he was helping another customer customize their drink too and let them have a taste before making the full order. He offered to remake ours if we didn't like our drinks. They brought the drinks to my table and came back with napkins. Treated like royalty!! FRESH AND HIGH QUALITY Not the cheap powder stuff. I ordered matcha latte with oat milk. My kid ordered a coco berry without grapefruit, only the strawberries. Tasted like Hawaii. Fries came out hot & crispy on outside and soft inside. Lots of fruity options for drinks. The cups seem to be high quality too. Straws are still the plastic kind. VERY CLEAN AND WHITE MARBLED SEATS Felt new and clean inside. Tables were clean. No stains anywhere so it feels comfortable. Simple and modern. CHILL HOUSE MUSIC Music was not too loud or distracting, perfect for filling up the store and allowing conversation.

    Cheese Pinky Lychee

Drinks here are really tasty with some pretty unique options! Got a latte with Oreo topping add on for the coffee drinker, and the Cheese pinky lychee with crystal boba. It had a really good flavor, and I feel like I tasted tea as well which was a pleasant surprise in terms of taste but maybe worth checking if you were avoiding caffeine. Sweet level was good. However, as much as I love cheese topping, I can't say it goes well with this drink but when you order in the kiosk they have a lot of options to customize this drink so you can easily remove it. Would love to come back to try other options

This is my favorite location to get my double boba coconut milk drink. The workers are friendly and quick with the order. The place is clean and offer great customer service!

While it's true that the owner guy barely fixed the drink it was the 3rd time so this review is accurate. So AVA G. If you're saying you're the one who stepped in your business photo and/or name is false because it was A MAN who helped me, NOT a woman. Also, I was there for a good amount of time and the barista guy was not mangaing a lot. He was wokring on approximately 3 drinks. If that's a lot let me tell you I used to work at Starbucks when I was in college so 1) your worker is incompetent 2) needs more training 3) all of the above Because 3 drinks or even 4 if you include mine is not a lot. You should see how many drinks I handled by myself! And you, a DUDE, don't try and hide behind your Ava G. Female photo because bro...you look nothing like that..... Either way you're lying so here goes..... Here's how it went step by step: Look at the footage. I asked the drink maker guy NOT to add crystal boba. He started making the drink with the crystal boba and didn't stop to correct himself. I told him that drink better not be for me. He said it wasn't. I told him NO boba. He just kept going. That is time ONE. Then I told him again, hey no crystal boba as he started to seal the drink, and he said okay he heard me, and started shaking the drink behind the counter. He said he was working on fixing it. That's time 2. By the time he handed it to me. Look at the video I said hey why is there still crystal boba in this drink! I told you 3 times already. That is the 3rd time. That's when the manager guy stepped in. And there is boba in the drink. So you just ignored me, tried to fake remaking the drink, then handed me the wrong drink. So yeah...it's 3 times!!! 3 times of fake remaking and me telling you when I was watching you, hey can you fix that!!! So yes...3 times you got it wrong, and lied, what did you do??? Instead of remaking my drink...and don't you lie because you should watch the video. You just scooped out the boba with a spoon and you didn't even get it all. Then you strained some, but didn't bother to put more liquid in to compensate for the boba you took out. YOU WERE LAZY!!! There was still some left in the bottom of the cup because YOU DID NOT REMAKE the drink. You just scooped out the boba because you were lazy. Remaking a drink is remaking It from scratch not lazily scooping it out including the coconut pudding which was now less just because you want to save time and money!!! So you DID NOT remake the drink and barely fixed it and now you're calling me out on your lazy behavior and horrible customer service! That's how businesses fail, by not focusing on the customer and taking short cuts and not owning their mistakes! So call me out on stuff and I'll call you out on stuff!!! Original Review: Coconut milk and pudding drink which is less tasty than Tong Sui and made by an incompetent worker. I told him multiple times NO CRYSTAL BOBA and he had to remake my drink THREE times because he kept forgetting. At $6.75, all that wasted time, and a subpar drink...no wonder this place had only 2 customers when I went.

Super cute shop with marbled countertops! Tons of natural lights and multiple tables, and we were impressed with how clean the shop was. Drinks here are actually pricey even for the most basic ones. We also had to wait ~20mins even though there were only 4 orders ahead of us and there were 3-4 employees working. I got oolong MT with mochi balls and although the mochis were amazing, my drink was already spoiled by the next day which was unusual because I usually take ~2 days to finish my drinks with no issues. The milk they used wasn't fresh, maybe?

Tea hut is always my top to go!! I always get the fruit tea first time try the rice mochi milk tea just as good as always!!! If u around you have to come!!

    Osmanthus milk tea
    Jessica M.

The osmanthus milk tea was decent, definitely had a nice, floral flavor. They had tables and seats out, but the blenders are a bit loud for customers looking to hang around and chat. My main gripe is the cleanliness. There were many dead flies by the windows that hadn't been cleaned up, and the few seat cushions there were a bit dingy. Even though the decor looks nice otherwise, that makes me a bit uneasy.

They don't have salted cheese foam. And the drink tasted different from the one San Francisco location. Is the same owner? Don't recommend

There's a limited number of seats inside, but they also have a small outdoor patio as well. Good place to hang out and chill if you're able to grab a seat. I ordered the Gui Hua Oat Latte, since that sounded pretty unique. There was other drinks that I was interested in trying like some of the matcha drinks, but I rarely see an osmanthus-inspired drink at coffee shops. It is made already with oat milk, so I didn't have to ask for any milk substitutions. I thought it was pretty good in terms of a latte, however, I wish the osmanthus flavor was a little stronger. The barista mentioned that the latte would have more of a floral taste, but it felt pretty faint. Cost was pretty similar to other coffee shops in the area, since it was $8-9 for my drink with oat milk already included. Other than that, would come back if I'm ever back in the area. I like the cozy vibes and fun drinks that they have!

No shame in declaring Kaizen as my favorite coffee shop in the Bay Area!…read more Kaizen is a coffee shop located blocks away from the Hillsdale shopping center. It does not have a dedicated parking lot, so be sure to grab the first street parking slot you see! It's a modern, small shop with some seating options (if you come early enough, you will be able to get something!) My usual here is typically a black sesame latte and I will say, probably the best one you can get in the Bay Area. It's toasty, nutty, but not over powering. I have been having a hard time finding a comparable contender. Besides that their vanilla latte is delicious and bright. For me their miso is a bit salty but that might be a preference. They also have some amazing selections of pastries you can get. I always get something new while I'm here, most recently, I got a pork floss croissant but I did enjoy the ube croissant when they still carried it. Their baristas are always very kind, and are willing to help. Despite coming in some busy times, I always get my drink in a reasonable time. I will continue to rave about this spot to my friends! It's a gem. :)

Kinda went quickly but the place is so small that we were sure where we were going to take drinks and food. We managed to snag a table that was just leaving so that was good! I got the black sesame latte as I love black sesame but in coffee was just not my thing. I did get it iced so maybe it would've been better hot? Just tasted like a thick mush that I had to stir and whenever I took a sip, was extremely grainy, For the price, the quantity was much less than I was expecting, since they served it in a tall and narrow glass. Person I was with got the mocha and one of the toast items but no comments on either.

That said, it's not bad at all, and when you're in San Bruno/Millbrae and don't feel like driving into SF Chinatown, this is one of the better local options. Not too many solid Chinese bakeries around here, so it fills the gap without being a total letdown. Best egg tarts are still at Golden Gate Bakery in SF Chinatown--no contest. Suzanne's is fine for a quick fix, but if you can make the trip, skip this and head to GG Bakery instead.
