Nice to see a new boba place pop up on the far East side of Lancaster. Visited family in the area and I'm used to lamenting over the slim pickings of eateries and dessert places. We tried the: *Honey green milk tea, large $5.75 = ugh, this was RIDICULOUSLY TOO SWEET. I've never used the word "cloying" in my life before, but this drink brings that word to mind. Given that I even love love love sweet desserts, this was not enjoyable at all. My husband tried it and then immediately spit it out. Couldn't even taste the green tea because it was overpowered by honey/sweetener. I'm writing this off as hopefully an uncommon occurrence when someone was maybe a little heavy-handed with the sweetener. We ended up just throwing it out. Each of us could only stand one sip each. Hopefully next time it will be prepared correctly. *Taro milk tea, large $5.75 = love the lavender hue of this drink. It is often my go-to flavor at boba places. Ever tried it? Taro is a purplish root, and has a potato-like starch consistency. I know, might sound odd, but it works well in Asian drinks and desserts. The version here was a bit too sweet, as well. *Green tea smoothie, large $6.00 = this was made ok and was my favorite out of the bunch. The green tea flavor really shined here, and had the perfect balance of sweetness. The ice was blended thoroughly, resulting in a smooth texture with no crunchy ice chunks. I would get this again. This place is cute and new to our neighborhood. There was one other boba place in Lancaster that I go to and this one is just as good. What I find really good about this place is the variety of drink, slushies, milk teas, teas, etc. I tried the popcorn chicken and it was pretty good, crispy and juicy. By far the best Boba ever it's so good, so different, so unique ,great combination to the Thai tea . I absolutely love this drink . I am so freaking glad that Teabox exists in the Antelope Valley! Coming from the SGV where boba is a little too abundant, to going to practically nothing. It's like entering a different dimension. Teabox is really freaking good nonetheless. I'm super picky about milk tea, too. They definitely got the ratio of tea to milk down. So far I've had: - Roasted oolong tea: delicious, strong, aromatic and roasted as it's name implies. - Roasted oolong milk tea: oolong tea with creamer, the tea is a tad more diluted, but still super strong and good. I prefer the regular tea version though. - Golden milk tea : sooooo damn good omg. It's one of their house teas; steeped golden tea leaves and non dairy creamer. My favorite, get it! - Almond milk tea: a must have for almond cookie lovers. It's one of my favs. Aromatic and very strong in almond flavor, can be really sweet though. They allow one free topping and additional toppings cost a little extra. I always add egg pudding and their pudding is GOOD. The texture is chewy yet soft and melts in your mouth. A very nice addition to any milk tea drink. I have yet to try their boba of all things but I have no doubts that it will be just as delicious. They have A TON of drink options and the worker there at the time, Brianna (?), was super helpful in answering any questions. Very kind and fast service. They even have food too! Well, Taiwanese popcorn chicken, fries, and other snacks are generally a staple but Teabox even has Pho and other food foods! Prices on the drinks are reasonable. They have super generous sizes on the cups too. What's normally a large at like Ten Ren, is a regular at Teabox. Teabox's large cup is GINORMOUS. I'm addicted. They have super cute light bulb cups and fancy cylindrical bottles if you wanna pay a little extra for the aesthetics. They even have free WiFi! Definitely a spot I'll be revisiting, and that YOU should try. :) read more

Not a big fan of the boba drink. I got taro milk tea with boba and my drink wasn't cold. Tried the beef pho and it was ok. Broth is very watered down and noodles are not the fresh rice noodles at regular pho restaurants. For the price though, it is a decent meal deal. Service was fair and ambiance was also fine. My husband and I are relatively new to the AV and spend most of our time in the SFV so we dont know many places to eat in the area yet. We got a coupon in the mail for this place and my husband LOVES pho and thai iced tea so we decided to give it a shot. The beef pho was tasty, the combo came with a substantial amount of fries, which was surprising but cool (who doesn't like fries?) the thai iced tea was great and the service was friendly. The service is ok but she surprised me when I asked for more veggies for my pho soup and she had to charge me $1 dollars more ( cash only) I'm like fine don't get me anything since I don't carry cash usually (who does these day$) When I came home my kids were looking forward to taste some pho soup but to find out that this soup was not near the taste of a pho soup, to make story short they didn't eat it, we were very disappointed. To die for I was devastated by the thought that on my days off for the holidays I wasn't going to be able to enjoy one of my favorites. If you're looking for great boba tea spot this is not the one. I got a golden milk tea with pudding and it was awful. I couldn't taste any tea flavor and it was overly sweet. I went back and ask for the guy to remake it. Poor customer service. He gave attitude and made me feel that I was wrong to ask him to remake it. The second one was still terrible but because the cashier made me feel uncomfortable I didn't take it back. I end up throwing it in the trash. So disappointing. I will not recommend this place to anyone. The cashier is young, tall and skinny guy. He needs to learn some customer service. read more

As a first timer I was so impressed by this location! I've tried other tea cafes around LA county including the famous Honey boba :) but tea box is my favorite. They had a drink I never heard before: the rose smoothie. I ordered the strawberry rose smoothie. And oh my!! I was taken back!! I'm not really one for sweet drinks but this one really hit the spot. It had a light floral flavor to it and it was sweetened with the strawberries. Sweet enough to taste like a desert but not so much that it tasted like pure sugar. Everything was so well balanced. The establishment was clean and orderly. Beautiful green accents contrasting with the white. It was appease the experience. I would definitely come back again to try their chicken soup! read more

I only really come to this place because it's closer to where I live. The service you receive is okay. The cashier are usually rude to you if you ask them a question. Which I don't appreciate. Their selection is large, but the quality varies depending on what you get. Their kinda pricey for what they serve. My most recent visit I went and sat down and watch the staff just be unfriendly to a guy who came in with his daughters. Not even the owner is friendly. Now as far as the drinks go. Your better off going to California swirl to get more for your money and good service. Same goes for Boba Cove if you can make it over there. They don't have much flavor in them and are WAY too expensive $7 for a 33oz drink.Overall the experience is lack luster. Nice place and great ambiance. The menu is huge so they should have some type of recommendations for first-timers. Really cute restaurant reminds me of the soft colors like hello kitty. The smoothies are awesome but toppings might not be for everyone. You might want to try something familiar instead of just cute because it's easy to get caught up with cute there. I have tried some of the tea drinks and the mango sushi here. I don't get the tapioca balls so I'm not sure if the ones here are good. What I can say is that the drinks here are great for being in AV. It's refreshing. What I like about this place is that they have discounts for different days and they also offer a stamp card. The place is a tad small and it can get pretty nosy. Most boba places I've been would season the popcorn chicken. I've ordered the popcorn chicken twice and asking for it to be spicy and it's never seasoned. I've had to ask for the chili powder both times. I can't believe I never tried this place until recently, they have so many options from tea to smoothies to yogurt drinks and not to mention appetizers from fried shrimp to veggie rolls, I will be back! However the cashier wasn't friendly, as I walked in I wasn't greeted and as I searched through the menu I felt the cashier just staring me down trying to hurry me up so I went with my usual taro smoothie since I felt pressure however I did have enough time to see they had egg rolls so I got some as well.
